I just ordered a RX199I today. Thanks for the video as it addressed some of my concerns. Glad to see a pump kit is available if I regret not getting the RXP. Also thanks for clarifying the valves come with the unit. Hard to discern in many of the descriptions I read online.
@@abledistributors Any longterm harm or loss in efficiency with oversizing? My local installer has a 4-5 week wait time for the RX180, but the RX199 is in-stock.... I have a one bath house with dishwasher, so it'd be very oversized.
@@T80Delta no, it will modulate and even in a bigger home, very often its just one shower running, we size these for expected use, but lets be real, near me we have only two people living in a three bath home.... enjoy your day. Brian
Hi thanks for sharing this video, do you have a link to where we can purchanse the service valve kit? I bought a RX199I on amazon but the service valve kit was not included. Also are the vents just regular pvc pipes?
we don't stock it, my understanding its more for outdoor or systems not in utility rooms, I believe the part number for the Rinnai RX bottom plate pipe cover 109001364, and the outside mount top cover is part # RXOVC. hope that helps a bit.
Great video, you've sold me on the brand and the RX 199 IN. My question is, do I need to order the isolation valves separately? I also want to confirm the connector kit that allows me to hook up to the unit for the annual de-scaling comes with the unit, only in a seperate box, correct? Is there any other device I need to order and have ready for the installer? Thanks again for a pro video, very helpful.

Yes you need the valves, they are no longer included in the tankless box.... you made a great choice.... Brian

Are the valves free? Or you have to buy separately
the valves are not included and will need to be purchased.
Nice thorough detailed video. Can you use Blue tooth to activate recirculation pump? say you take random time showers.
Where do you get the bottom enclosure for the RX199IN?
Thanks
David

Im still a little confused by the smart circ built in. Do I need to add the recirculation pump?
With the RXP you dont need to. Just make sure to install the included bypass valve at the furthest faucet.
Is it normal to find water inside the unit after opening the box?
And it’s going to be extra charge for the valve?
