I installed my 199k btu heater 18 years ago. We love the fact that we can wash dishes @ 160 degrees (THEY ARE CLEAN) then set the heater @ 115 for everything else. The heater is a 2006 unit and I have never had to touch it, cover has never been off. Can’t whoop a Noritz.
I have a Noritz tankless water heater (uses gas) and the high pitched fan noise it makes after you turn hot water off drives me crazy. It's insane how noisy it is, all day every time you use water. Very annoying.
That's not true. Noritz don't have parts. It took them 6 months to get my part. After 5 years of ownership with regular descaling, I'm experiencing fluctuation in hot water

What about the yearly maintenance/descaling charges? Whatever money you’re saving you’re gonna spend it on maintenance 🤷🏻♂️
