Does it turn on the electric heat coil on defrost

If u have 2 zones with different temperature needs. How does it decide what temperature to operate when both zones are calling

looking at Peerless 63-05 & burnham steam max around 240,000 btu which would you recommend

I’ve installed over 100 of these, incredibly successful because it’s a great product and reading the manual does give you all of the information. But one thing I’ve never asked a question on, I don’t see the troubleshooting lining up with error code for example E5 or E2, Instead of indicates flashes, one flash, two flash, etc., and the book does not even talk about codes, such as FO or NL. Am I missing something? I feel like the manual was made for a different control board in regards to troubleshooting. The furnaces I install have the two segment LED and no flashing code. You simply look at the two segment LED but when you refer that over to the manual or the lower door on the furnace, it does not have the same codes. Can you elaborate on that?

Hi thanks for sharing this video, do you have a link to where we can purchanse the service valve kit? I bought a RX199I on amazon but the service valve kit was not included. Also are the vents just regular pvc pipes?

So would going from a 1 inch thick to a 4 or 5 inch thick filter increase airflow to my registers on the far side of my house?

Ya we use the cheap ones but doesnt this allow for a shit load of dust to be circulated throughout your house!? I know that we have to dust like every week, this being said I think I going to try the more expensive ones!

As someone that must do this themself, at the start of my learning journey thank you. Id gladly hire someone that actually shows up, shows up sober, shows up with at least a measuring tape before giving me a quote. Nope. Hi What about 3Ton YORK duct sizing? I started with 22x8 30ft +(\1 flat elbow 22x8) then reducing to 20x8 aprox 10ft then 16x8 another 10ft . Total duct work 57ft 3TON YORK GAS FURNACE + CONDENSER (cooling) Reason I keep 22x8 30ft & not reducing earlier 55ft total length , kind of LONG LINE? Would this be correct sizing? Thank you in advance ☺️

On a 2.5 Ton unit top fed is one return from the bottom of the unit adequate? The airhandler is about 20 inches elevated so that it can be vented through its bottom. Thanks

Does Bosch make a 9000BTU with 115v like this? I only see 1 ton units out there.

Is the 0.5 restriction a 50% restriction, 0.5% restriction or some other value? Or put another way, is the difference between a .16 restriction and a .63 restriction significant? Would a 1.0 be a total restriction? Would we be better not filtering our AC at all and filtering with other room devices? Thanks for the video.

Ive always used stainless steel washable, mesh and carbon filters, fact is air filters protect your equipment, there not for air purification, you can install a UV light in the return or the air handler, it works in hospitals, it should work for you. I can say for a fact, the last 2 units ive had, after 20 yrs of daily use, the coils were still in great shape, and ive never had to have my duct work cleaned, and still clean, but i clean my filters once a month. If your a germaphobe and you think high merv filters are helping you, be my guest, your paying more money for filters continually, and you will pay for expensive repairs you caused

Issues that I've found and a few solutions. 1. Size naturally makes it vulnerable to clogged sponge filter, which causes a slurping sound. Cleaning and regular maintenance helps prevent this. Don't clean your indoor coils while letting it drain into pump, also have found pan tablets clogs spnge filter. Keep extra filters on you. 2. Lack of required maintenance ( which could be way more often than people realize) can lead to a dirty water (float) sensor and unit will keep running. Everytime this has happened cleaning it has only fixed it once. The other times it just kept pumping regardless of cleaning. 3. Anti-Siphon valve ( lil green thing on yellow tube) is not made for length we think it can accommodate (Also it drips water a little but it doesnt seem to be an issue). This leads to slurping and sucking after pump has stopped. At first i thought it was a dirty filter, then dirty water sensor continuing pump after empty. Then realized there was a siphoning effect pulling water thru pump after it disengaged. I later found out, thru refco's competent tech support, that the pump tubing was ran too far vertically after too long horizontally. Basically cut downflow part of tube as short as possible to reduce siphoning effect. It worked. Would like to add, competent is a a huge compliment when i think of tech support. 4. Obviously make sure drain line doesn't sit flat against bottom, either cut at slant or notch it. All in all this lil pump opens up options as it has a very powerful pump for its size and it looks good. But always gravity drain if possible Hope this helps

Great video. I have a Goodman 4ton modulating 120,000 btu furnace. I have 3 cfm output on panel that range from 1670-2200 cfm. My furnace is located in basement, I have a 16’ trunk on left side of house and a 36’ trunk going to the right side of the house. When I start to build off the plenum does the first run on both side have to equal and be around that range of cfm or does the longest run has to start off being that cfm range?
