Trade up to get the harder to fill LT position w/ Broderick and then not use him at LT is dumb.
The 49rs are weird, they rely heavily on comp picks to fill out the roster but never use them as trade pieces for better players, and then select guys like lance and persal over ladd, but they’re good at finding late round players

Same convo. We have a WR1. We need a WR2 and we won’t pay for another WR1. If we did that, we won’t likely be able to keep GP. Also not out on someone from our stable of WRs stepping up. Calvin, Jefferson, Roman (later in the year) or others could be that WR2 guy.

See Von Miller's 2024 contract. He took a huge pay cut in his salary for 2024 and put it all back in incentives; so if he returns to 10+ sacks form he makes all his money back.

I want to see what Troy Fautanu can do at LT, before deciding to bench him for the entire year. Troy Fautanu has played LT his entire life, why not see what he can do at LT before calling him a bust. I am hoping the Steelers were just wanting to see how bad he was at RT during the OTAs and Mini-Camp before moving him back to LT for training camp.
he played RT in high school so you can’t say he’s played LT all his life. he said himself he’s more comfortable on the right side anyways. he cross trained in college, and played on the right side in high school. NFL is always gonna be an adjustment period
