Absolutely use short form! Taking what you make vertically and "triple dipping" with Tiktok, UA-cam shorts, and Instagram Reels allows you to utilize 1 piece of content to its max potential.
@BLACKLIGHTGAMING honestly yeah at this point i'd rather spend less time on it and put more out. nothing more deflating than spending a full day on a video only for it to get 30 views
Harris! I can’t thank you enough, I purchased my first custom PC about 2 weeks ago, and started streaming the 2nd day after buying. I created all new social media channels for my gaming content, and I put the TikTok method of the cam on top and game underneath…..that first video with that method popped off and is now at 54.6K views, and I went from 1 follower to 301 followers in 24 hours! I am SOOOO thankful for watching this video and trying out this method. The success in that tik tok gave me so much hope, and I will continue to use this method and push more content out. Key aspect: content is KING. I appreciate you Harris, have a good one :)
Hey bro. Bit late but i just saw your comment and saw that you stopped posting :( If you still love making content you should continue making videos ! If the quality is good the numbers will follow. Trust the process my man
@@willuigi64 I wasn't even thinking about ad rev. Tiktok is just less engaging and a view isn't even a person choosing your video, it's just someone happening to scroll by it in an endless feed of fast food content that they will forget about as quickly as they found it.
Hey Harris I've been using streambeats on stream and will be using them for my outro on youtube, thank you so much, they are very high quality and fit my tastes. I'm a fan of your synthwave albums, ego and renegade.
Cause TikToks algorithm is goated. A lot more potential to get "noticed" on TikTok than anywhere else. As Ludwig said UA-cam is like buying a Lottery ticket. Well if that's true then Tiktok is like buying 10 Lottery tickets.
Thumbs up for FCPX being used. Best ever - I really miss it since moving to PC. It's actually attractive enough for me to buy a Mac again just to get away from Premiere. :)
Super useful tips, used the advice here to edit up a UA-cam Short and published it last night. This morning it's at 2k views and over 100 likes, with 6 new subs! Not too shabby for a small creator like me I think. Thanks for this video!
I just need a way to create Shorts from my UA-cam playthroughs and I felt so stupid when I realized I could 1) Duplicate a project and 2) add a second layer and overlap to make the 9:16 format video. This will greatly help me out. Thank you a billion!!
Streambeats straight up out here being the new monstercat...and i completely approve, competition in the space, is always a good thing, especially with these dmca bombs going around, great job guys!
Thanks for the cool tips. But don’t make the mistake to compare views on UA-cam with TikTok views. On UA-cam a user has to click and watch a video for at least 30 seconds to be counted as a view. On Facebook and Instagram it’s only 3 seconds with auto play in feeds. For TikTok every time a video starts it’s already a view. Again keep Auto plays and loop playback in mind. Basically a TikTok view is worthless compared to a UA-cam view.
Yes yes yes! I was just searching for how to use TikTok to find an audience and this is perfect! Oh! Question: what are your thoughts on separating different kinds of content into different accounts on TikTok - and UA-cam as well (for example, if you post both gaming and singing videos)? One one hand, it seems obvious that you should separate them because people might be there for only one thing, BUT on the other hand if you want to have people come to your channel or Twitch stream for you, then maybe it’s best to show all sides of yourself because it’s not like most of us just have one passion. Thoughts?
I really love your videos. It's been over 2 weeks now since I started doing streaming and you always pop up in my UA-cam. I would like to start with UA-cam as well, but DaVinci resolve is really hard for me. Do you have a tutorial video on how to work with DaVinci?
I wish there was more information on this! It seems like there is so much scattered evidence on the TikTok’s algorithm. I have looked at numerous websites where it shows suggested times to post, what to post, etc. But from what I experienced, it doesn’t matter. I posted a video outside of the “suggested post time” window and it got 3000 views. In another post, I uploaded it at the suggested time from one website 200 or so views. Then I uploaded another one at a time where a different website suggested a time between 6am and 10 am and still around 200 views. I can share the same video at the same time to reels on Instagram and gain more engagement in a short period of time. All websites suggest to have a niche and stick to the certain posting times. In reality, I think it’s just based on luck with TikTok.
Several things: Just avoid putting text on the bottom or top, centered is fine. also tiktok has a captions feature now (that makes auto captions) though there isn't any editing of the text. Also, keep tiktoks under 45 seconds at max, 15-30 is the golden zone. (Unless you have a good idea for the 3 min feature now). ALSO: why does harris have the air pro max things?
Pro-tip, don't put the text down at the bottom. Usually up top or in the middle. If you put any text down at the bottom it ends up getting cut off by the video description and you can't really read it.
I just hate that Resolves keyframesystem in the editing tab doesn't have an option for a keyframe curve for that as far as I know you have to use the fusion stuff which is 1000 times more complicated and that just to use a keyframe curve.
i’ve gotten 290k followers on TikTok, and trust me, if anything, TikTok is just a more personal, trendy, and WAYY easier way to build an audience that you can bring to monetizable platforms. Think Twitch, except way more flexible. only 1% makes good money on tiktok and twitch, but the best creators use tiktok and twitch to bring in followers to UA-cam
i had a video blow up on tiktok recently. the video ended bringing in 80 subs to my UA-cam channel. that's a lot for me and I'm so thankful for these tips.
So how do you edit your face with a green-screen (effect like Nvidia Broadcast or actual screen)? Because the footage in the background might be overlapping?
I swear my brain is linked to you or Sam because I literally think about something and think "Gee I wish Harris had a video on this" and the next day you release a video about exactly what I was thinking about
I've been making UA-cam videos for 6 years, and a little while ago I uploaded my first TikTok, and in in a couple days it got 2.2 million views, which is more than all my views on all my videos on all my channels put together on youtube. My life is a lie.
I've been loving stream beats! No issues on the usual streaming platforms but Facebook are idiots. I even added a link to the license to my livestream description and I still get my audio removed probably 20% of the time
Hey man, glad to have found your channel, especially since I'm thinking to start streaming soon. Quick question: Can you point me to a video that shows me how to to set up the basics? I have a gaming pc and a mac, trying to figure out how to use both, one for gaming and one for streaming.
Thanks for this tutorial! I also want to learn to reusing the chosen music on TikTok for editing on the computer then using that music from TikTok library when you upload it on the app.
0:25 i think so many creators have to learn that about almost anything. Don't get upset about those things, use them for yourself -> Hot Tub Streams are a great example of this. How many Male Streamers could use this aswell for their Content? 😁
I paid for Movavi video editor, but it’s so overwhelming trying to learn what everything means. I’m new to creating videos on TikTok and I want to expand to UA-cam shorts. Is there a different software I should use, or is there a video somewhere I can watch to learn how to use these video editing softwares? *send help*
Alright so I got a question about streaming and all that right, what if I just want to to twitch and UA-cam is that ok or should I try and spread out more?
Who has starting using short form content? Who hasn't yet but plans to?
First
Haven't yet, but plan to once I have a core content to give short bursts too.
I've been planning on taking my tiktoks over to shorts but haven't done it yet

Even when I thought I would know most of this, I still learnt some things! The fade to 0 saturation with the cross fade is brilliant! Thanks!
You should put the text higher. It will be hiden by text, like, comment, share button if you put it to low.
Came here to say the exact same thing. If you want people to read it, you've got to put the text in a visible spot.

I always edit my videos so I can use them across TikTok, Shorts, and sometimes Reels. I'm not super advanced so I just use Filmora.
Idk why this got me. "I hit the 5 minute flashback recording button" *Hits 15 second flashback recording button*

How well do you think youtube shorts would do at leading people to one's normal youtube videos/youtube livestreams?
