Thanks for being nice to me :)
"Try not to take Doctor Who so seriously all the time, you'll enjoy the show a lot more". 👍👍 Couldn't have put it better myself.
Keep telling yourself its just a show, I should really just relax, la la la.
John Pertwee was the doctor i use to watch when was in hospital while under going treatment for cancer, use to get up every saturday and then sunday and watch him on tv no matter if i was not feeling well or not, seeing doctor who helped me keep going and some of these are the best there was.
Same here but in 2009, I went to Edinburgh with a friend of mine and his family as a guest. He brought a DVD player and I bought a bunch of Doctor Who DVDs from a Station Shop. They were- The Time Warrior, Invasion of the Dinosaurs, Inferno, The Sea Devils and Mind of Evil.
Had fun when at night we gathered round the Hotel Room Table and play one of the DVDs watching it until we finished the serial.
Good times.
1. The Daemons - Amazing atmosphere, Some funny lines, odd monster , Jon's favourite & Delgado at his best!
2. Inferno - Dark, Gritty, Delia Derbyshire score, shocking fatalism, & strange twist half way through.
3. The Sea Devils - Overlooked, Underrated, Delgado & Jon are sentimental, incredible Navel footage, & a haunting 2nd ep.
4. The Mind of Evil - Amazing Dynamic between Delgado & Jon - who looked genuinely scared, Prison story, & UNIT Action!
5. The Green Death - Well shot, well written, scary, heartbreaking, & as relevant now as it has ever been with fossil fuels.
I will say that it started better than it ended.
I don’t hate Inferno, just not in my top 6. We all have different tastes!
Not everyone has the same opinions, if we did, it would be very boring hearing everyone say the same six stories! 😂
Love y’all x
I'd like to think that Alternate Universe Josh has an eyepatch and dueling scar.
inferno is good, but its just fury from the deep
I prefer the dæmons
@@williambartlett7483 "Chap with the wings there - five rounds rapid."
@@rackstraw Alternate Josh would be straight, just to make a point to the audience that this is alternate Josh.
My favourite six Pertwee stories:
1. The Daemons
2. Inferno
3. The Curse of Peladon
4. Invasion of the Dinosaurs
5. The Mind of Evil
6. Spearhead from Space
Mine:
1. The Sea Devils
2. Inferno
3. Spearhead from Space
4. The Three Doctors
5. The Daemons
6. Mind of Evil
mine:
1. Spearhead
2. Inferno
3. Carnival of Monsters
4. Day of the Daleks
5. The Daemons
6. Terror of the Autons
The fact that the Dæmons and inferno didn’t make it onto the list was insane
I respect you for having the cahones to put Invasion of the Dinosaurs in first place.
Some great choices! Mine would have to be...
1. Carnival of Monsters
2. Frontier in Space
3. Day of the Daleks
4. Spearhead from Space
5. The Sea Devils
6. The Claws of Axos
I'm a big fan of *DAY OF THE DALEKS* . There is something about seeing Pertwee in that Manor, sipping on wine, future freedom fighters trying to change their own future, Jo and Mike Yates ramping that chemistry up, and then...Daleks. It has a lot going for it in my opinion.
It's a criminally overlooked story - there's a time-travel twist which would have made it a great story even without the Daleks.
I agree Day of the Daleks is brilliant. i love the twist at the end
Always been a favourite of mine as well, the special edition elevates it to the next level. Gives a glimpse of what classic Who could have been like with a bigger budget.
So difficult as they're all very good.
Ok here goes
1 The Three Doctors
2 The Daemons
3 Silurians
4 Day of the Daleks
5 Inferno
6 Terror of the Autons
7 Ambassadors of Death
And yes the Liz Shaw season is fantastic, and it only gets better with time. A lot of the credit must also go to Bazza Letts and Terrance Dicks.
"What did you just call me?" LMFAO!!!!!!!
The Third Doctor has carried me through the current L0ckup/c0ckdown situation, which is ironic, given that we are living through an early 1970s Doctor WHO story in the form of said lockdown itself.
never thought i’d see this series again but i ain’t complaining
Pertwee has the most consistent run of the classic era
Pertwee's is easily my favorite era of the show. Barry and Terrance worked together to create one of the most consistent and engaging stories in the show's history. Usually I struggle with any story that's past four parts, but all of the Pertwee ones hold my attention all the way through. Plus, the ancient and experienced old Doctor being on the side of the hippies and environmentalists instead of the corporations and the kings makes me happy for some reason.
That and he can ride a motorcycle and kick some serious ass while pulling off a smoking jacket and frills. Simply frilling.
Carnival of Monsters was my first real Doctor Who story (after watching only brief clips), and its imagination, crazy plot and colourful execution made me instantly fall in love with the series! Absolute magic.
Inferno, Day of the Daleks, Curse of Peladon, Spearhead from Space, Three Doctors, Mind of Evil. It's a tough call, as there are many great Pertwee stories.
My top six Pertwee stories are, in no particular order:
The Time Warrior
The Daemons
The Sea Devils
The Green Death
Inferno
Spearhead from Space
But the late Patrick Troughton/Jon Pertwee/early Tom Baker era was the most reliable in terms of story quality, so there are a lot of good ones to choose from.
Fun video, Josh, and I agree with your choices. I'd have to add Curse of Peladon however, which was a great story for many reasons, not least the cast of aliens! I have to say I've always adored Alpha Centuri! Not forgetting The Daemons too, simply for it's story, location and cast!
Jon Pertwee was a great Doctor, and had some of the best stories in Doctor Who! You should do the best six stories of each Doctor more often!
6th and 7th might be a bit hard, and youd need big finish for 8th!
Here are my six favorite Jon Pertwee stories:
(KEEP IN MIND, I HAVE NOT PROPERLY RANKED ALL THE EPISODES YET. ALSO, I RANK EPISODES AND FILMS BY HOW MUCH I ENJOY THEM IN THE MOMENT)
6. Colony in Space
5. The Time Warrior
4. The Curse of Peladon
3. Inferno
2. The Daemons
1. Frontier in Space
Great list. I loved Delgado’s Master so it’s always sad not to hear him get a mention. But still great list.
Honestly ambassadors of death is my favourite Jon Pertwee story and one of my favourite stories in general
Invasion of the Dinosaurs has possibly the best twist of classic who
SPOILERS: Invasion of the Dinosaurs has THREE of the best twists in Doctor Who.
1. It's dinosaurs
2. Sarah wakes up on a spaceship
3. There was no spaceship
I am very glad someone out there loves Invasion of the Dinosaurs as much as I do.
My favourite six Pertwee stories:
1. The Dæmons (God Kino Tier)
2. Spearhead from Space (Masterpiece)
3. The Sea Devils (Action Packed Romp)
4. The Time Warrior (Incredible Sontaran Debut)
5. The Three Doctors (Second and First Doctors Back in Action!)
6. Terror of the Autons (Excellent Master Debut)
1. Terror of the Autons
2. Inferno
3. The Three Doctors- 7:25, he was no acting there!
4. The Sea Devils
5. The Daemons
6. The Time Warrior
HM: Spearhead-Ambassadors, Carnival, Green Death. Seriously, his era is so packed with great stories.
24 stories and only three of them questionable, the 70's was called the golden era of who for a reason!
Josh Snares uploads a new video.
Meanwhile, at 4am in America, I awake suddenly, eyes wide........ "SNARES!!"
I'm here.
1. Ambassadors of Death
2. The Claws of Axos
3. Day of the Daleks
4. The Sea Devils
5. The Green Death
6. Invasion of the Dinosaurs
The Time Monster is my favorite third doctor story. I was so surprised when I heard it wasn't popular.
When the Radio Times 10th Anniversary Special was released, the final season of Jon Pertwee hadn't aired, but it had a preview of all of the stories. As an excited 11 year old, seeing titles such as Invasion of the Dinosaurs, Planet of the Spiders, Death to the Daleks and a new Peladon story filled me with such excitement that now, nearly 50 years later, I still have a tremendous fondness for that whole season. Carnival of Monsters was a brilliant adventure, and when it first aired it never even occured to me they were using puppets. It was so great to have an imagination and belief. The Draconians were a great creation, as was Alpha Centuri. I wish I was an innocent wide eyed 11 year old again! I love your choices.
Ah! I knew you really liked Invasion if the Dinosaurs, but I didn’t know it was #1 for you. I absolutely love that one! And you’re right, it’s the perfect blend of storytelling and lightheartedness.
1- Inferno, 2- The Sea Devils, 3- The Daemons, 4- The Green Death, 5- Spearhead from Space, 6- Planet of the Spiders. Pertwee is my favorite Doctor.
The trouble with Planet of the Spiders is that the end is the end. The biggest downer ever.
Instant subscribe from me. A refreshing take on the classic series in a UA-cam landscape that heavily favours NewWho. Invasion Of The Dinosaurs is a superb story, and the special effects are absolutely a part of that. My list is also different to the usual choices
1. Monster Of Peladon
2. Invasion Of The Dinosaurs
3. The Silurians
4. Planet Of The Daleks
5. Inferno
6. Terror Of The Autons
1. The Daemons
2. Frontier in Space
3. Planet of the Daleks
4. the Green Death
5. The Time Warrior
6. Invasion of the Dinosaurs
7. The Silurians
8. The Three Doctors
9. Planet of the Spiders
10. Inferno
Those are my top 10.
Most post regeneration stories don’t do it for me and I find Spearhead average and the single most over rated story in the entire shows history
1. The Three Doctors
2. The Time Warrior
3. Spearhead From Space
4. The Sea Devils
5. Planet of the Spiders
6. The Ambassadors of Death
7. Invasion of the Dinosaurs
8. Carnival of Monsters
9. The Green Death
10. Doctor Who and the Silurians
I see the Pertwee era. Instant like.
Bes Doc ever.
I grew up with this Doctor, and you have captured the era most evocatively!
Love them all...I doubt I could pick five, but I'll say this...Daemons freaked me out as a child and is now my favorite episode.
10:09 Poor Adelaide! At least it had the Mars Bar, haha! (I hope it’s still there). Tough call deciding on top 5 Pertwee episodes. FWIW, mine in no particular order are: Inferno, Mind of Evil, Three Docs, Ambassadors and Planet of the Spiders (which could be more like Adelaide than Invasion of the Dinosaurs 😉). 👍
Mars Bar went away, but is apparently coming back?? It got replaced by Mary’s Poppin, which was a bit more youth-orientated. I think they’re making Mars just a Cabaret bar, rather than an LGBT space.
Nice to see some Dino love - one of my favourite Pertwee stories!
My 6:
1. Inferno
2. The Mind of Evil
3. The Amsbassadors of Death
4. Terror of the Autons
5. The Dæmons
6. The Sea Devils
Honourable mention: Planet of the Spiders
Dishonourable mention: The Time Monster
I just finished “Invasion of the Dinosaurs”, and it’s outstanding. The story is really fun and the performances were great all around. It’s one of those stories where if you let it take you along for the ride, it makes the dodgy special effects worth it get through.
The Daemons, The Silurians, Inferno, The Sea Devils, Spearhead from Space, Carnival of Monsters, The Three Doctors.
YES INVASION OF THE DINOSAURS LOVE FINALLY! Second best TV Pertwee story IMO after Carnival of Monsters
Jon Pertwee is my favorite Doctor so I wouldn't even be able to narrow down my own list. Invasion of the Dinosaurs is a great story that happens to have bad special effects, but there are worse effects out there (like the giant snake in Snakedance) and the story is really strong.
I love the amount of jokes that have been reused through the years
Yes the Dinosaurs aren't very good but on the whole Invasion is actually a really good third doctor story. It's one of my favourites.
Fun Fact: Hal the Archer from "The Time Warrior" was played by the late Jeremy Bulloch. Who would go on to portray Boba Fett in "Empire Strikes Back."
Oooh, now this one is tough to decide. Jon was the first Doctor whose stories who I owned on DVD, in the glorious Beneath the Surface DVD boxset. I haven't seen all of his stories, but I'm getting there, loving how they presented the topical issues of the 1970s into these incredible stories.
Inferno (#1 - Once you've watched Inferno, you can see why this is placed in a lot of people's top 10 for Pertwee stories. It is incredible how this story doesn't drag for a 7-parter, each episode containing something so engaging that it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The Doctor stuck in a collapsing reality, dealing with the evil sides of his UNIT crew, while the Earth screams out, and brings forth the Primords. It is absolutely fantastic, and this was in Pertwee's first season. Also, apparently Caroline John was pregnant during the filming of this story, which is why she had to leave. Unfortunate that she didn't return as a companion, but we are lucky to have this incredible season)
The Curse of Peladon (#2 - I love this story. Everything about it is so fun. The world of Peladon, the return of the Ice Warriors, Jo's solution to how they can blend in to the Committee of the Galactic Federation, it's all so wonderful. Aggedor is wonderful once Pertwee calms him down, Alpha Centuri is just wonderful, both as a character and as just a alien creation for this show (minus the c**k in a frock look that Terrance Dicks mentions in the documentary for the story). Plus Pertwee's lullabies, what more could you ask for? I really want this world to return to the show at some point)
The Sea Devils (#3 - I want these fishy bois to return to the show so bad. This is exactly what I want in a Master story. Strong villains/monsters that are iconic by themselves, as well as being a part of the Master's fodder, wonderful background characters that are wonderful to look back on and notice more about their performance, the Doctor and Jo working great together, and the fantastic locations that they recorded in/around. Plus, I don't care what anyone else says, I love that music)
The Daemons (#4 - Jon's favourite story. Unfortunate that all the original colour tapes were gone, because this story looks fantastic. Thankfully there were some recorded episodes in colour to see the full story back in it's original form. Azal and Bok are great, the UNIT team are at their strongest, the dialogue is fantastic, Delgado is brilliant, there is so much to love about this story. Maybe there is a magic touch to this serial)
Death to the Daleks (#5 - Okay, if Josh gets Invasion of the Dinobois as his first choice, I get to have Death to the Daleks on my list, practically for the exact same reasons. It's fun. Bellal is fun. The Daleks shooting a model TARDIS is fun. The Dalek mentally self-destructing is fun. Their new bullet guns are fun. The Exxilons are fun. The city is fun. The "STOP, DON'T MOVE!" bit is iconic. It's just really, really fun. And, hot take, I prefer this to Planet of the Daleks)
The Ambassadors of Death (#6 - James Bond with Aliens. Espionage. Action by HAVOC. Insane ship design. RIGHT, CUT IT OPEN. The *twang*. The reveal of the aliens inside the suits. The suits themselves, using the helmets made for Moon Zero Two. The beautiful music. The UNIT fight in Episode One. Brig being a bad ass. I love how much Season 7 was such a change of pace for Who and how it got them back in the public's eye, and I love this story. It is action-packed, creative, and oh so fun! That trailer at the end of the Doctor Who and the Silurians DVD sealed the deal for me loving this story even before I watched it)
Honourable Mentions: Day of the Daleks, Spearhead from Space, Doctor Who and the Silurians, The Mutants. The rest I have yet to see fully, although my thoughts would probably change with this list if I see The Green Death all the way from start to finish.
it is sad that liz only has a single season but she does appear in PR- *waffles about BBV for 9 hours* 😛
Invasionof the Dinosaurs!? I have never loved you more 🤣🤣🤣
This is the second video in a row where something unexpected was at number 1!
I wonder if Horns of Nimon will actually end up being Number 1 for the 4th Doctor list!?
No
Inferno is probably my favourite but I love Time Warrior and the Sea Devils just as much.
Great video, it’s good to see the dinobois get some love ❤️
My top six:
1. Spearhead From Space
2. The Three Doctors
3. The Green Death
4. The Sea Devils
5. The Mind of Evil
6. Planet of the Daleks
I would have included "Doctor Who and the Daemons". Jo Grant was great. Loved seeing her on the Sarah Jane Smith Adventures episode, "The Death of the Doctor".
YES. THE VIDEO IS BACK. Also here’s my top 6 of one of my favourite doctors:
1. The Time Warrior
2. Inferno
3. The Three Doctors
4. Spearhead From Space
5.The Green Death
6. Frontier In Space
Inferno is really one of the best Doctor Who stories from the original series. I’m almost finished watching the Tom Baker episodes, most of which I last saw several decades ago, but what’s strange is I’m finding I enjoyed watching the Jon Pertwee stories much more because the stories were more engaging and Pertwee took the role more seriously than Tom Baker.
Oh I missed this series (I actually thought it was cancelled!)
Glad to see it back 😊
Here’s my Top 6:
6) The Three Doctors
5) Spearhead from Space
4) The Green Death
3) The Dæmons
2) Carnival of Monsters
1) Inferno
Good to see 3 stories from Season 10 (my first series). I always recommend "Carnival of Monsters" as the story to introduce youngsters to Classic Who. :)
That quip Sarah Jane makes about the Middle Ages in the Time Warrior is awesome.
Just watch season seven. Pertwee’s best overall season with some classic stories.
At one point during the video I forgot I was watching someone else's ranking and was just nodding along as if it were my own! Three Doctors, Green Death and Invasion are most likely my top three as well.
I absolutely love Invasion of the Dinosaurs, I always have a smile on my face the entire time I watch it. The Brig interacting with the triceratops in the underground and the T. Rex vs Apatosaurus remain favorite moments of mine, among many others of course.
It’s SO good! 🦕
Invasion of the dinosaurs was one of the classic that was before my time. I remember watching as a child and I think it might have been the last or second to last season of John Pertwee. I did quite like his doctor and 13 Doctors in he holds his own.
I watched it on DVD release only a few years ago.
Now what about Inferno!
End of the world!
The doctor fails to save Earth!
The evil Brigade Leader was brilliant acting.
Ah I do miss the Brigader.
Glad he got a proper send off.
Great to see the series back and really hope you come round to the other Doctors.
My six favourite Pertwee stories are:
1. Inferno
2. Spearhead from Space
3. Terror of the Autons
4. Colony in Space
5. The Three Doctors
6. The Time Warrior
Nice to see colony in space I think that one is a bit underrated
@@blairm383 I completely agree, it really is. The chemistry between Pertwee and Delgado is on point; the plot is really interesting to me and I love ramping up the drama when The Master arrives. It's definitely the hidden gem of Season 8.
@@blairm383 I completely agree. The plot is really interesting to me, and I love seeing Pertwee off of Earth every once in a while. The chemistry between Pertwee and Delgado is on point once again in this and I love the added drama when The Master does turn up. It's definitely the most overlooked story of Season 8.
This is tough ranking, so I'd put them into tiers before I do specific ranking order. Or maybe pick the best of each season:
FIRST PLACE
Inferno
Mind of Evil
Day of the Daleks
Carnival of Monsters
The Time Warrior
SECOND PLACE
Ambassadors of Death
Terror of the Autons
The Mutants
The Green Death
Planet of the Spiders
THIRD PLACE
Spearhead from Space
The Claws of Axos
The Sea Devils
The Three Doctors
Invasion of the Dinosaurs
FOURTH PLACE
Doctor Who and the Silurians
The Daemons
The Curse of Peladon
Frontier in Space
The Monster of Peladon
FIFTH PLACE
(no 5th First Season story)
The Colony In Space
The Time Monster
Planet of the Daleks
Death to the Daleks
Then I'd rank each season, because of course in some cases the 2nd place best story in one season might be better than the 1st place best story of another:
SEASONS RANKED (best to worst)
1st
2nd
4th
5th
3rd
I recently watched The Time Monster. There is some incredible women's lib dialogue.
I'm fond of that story, if only for the mind bending sequence with the nested TARDISes.
I adore your videos. So well produced. So delightfully laced with love. So obscure with the niche Aussie 'politics' too...glorious!
Honey, I'm curious where you put Ambassadors of Death, I consider it criminally underrated.
None with Delgardo’s Master!?? Josh whats goin on!? :) Pertwee was a great Doctor imho. I grew up with Tom Baker (wonderful too) but discovered Pertwee on VHS and TV reruns and he’s become my favourite Doctor. Such amazing chemistry with not just Delgardo but notably with the Brig too.. timeless and priceless TV..
Ok, Inferno, The Ambassadors of Death, The Mind of Evil, The Time Monster, The Claws of Axos, and the Sea Devils.
I've left out a lot just as good, brutal just to pick six 🙂
Great video! My top 6:
1) Inferno
2) The Silurians
3) Invasion of the dinosaurs (gotta love the dino bois)
4) Ambassadors of death
5) The Green death
6) spearhead from space
My Top 6:
1. The Sea Devils
2. The Green Death
3. Terror of the Autons
4. The Time Warrior
5. The Daemons
6. Invasion of the Dinosaurs
Great video btw!
Beautiful Josh, Jon was my favorite and still is in a way next to Troughton. Spearhead is for me his best story!
JOSH U BEAUTIFUL MADMAN I adore invasion of the dinosaurs and I thought "not a chance in hell it'll make number one but god it should" bc ITS LITERALLY THE BEST PERTWEE STORY
My favourites are:
1, Spearhead from Space
2, The Three Doctors
3, And The Silurians
4, Carnival of Monsters
5, Terror of the Autons
6, Inferno
Fantastic video as always.
I’d have to go for The Silurians, Inferno, Terror of the Autons, the Daemons, The Three Doctors & Carnival of Monsters.
It’s such a great period of Who, one of my favourites. There are no wrong choices, well except Monster of Peladon.
Even though I grew up with 80’s who, repeats of the Three Docs & Carnival, along with the 5 Doctors made Pertwee one of my favourite Doctors.
I think it says a lot as to the state of Doctor Who in the early 70's that half of these stories are from Season 10.
My personal top 6 are:
6. The Ambassadors of Death
5. The Mind of Evil
4. The Silurians
3. The Curse of Peladon
2. Inferno
1. The Three Doctors
You're so presh. Top Pertwees?? Inferno, Carnival of Monsters, Three Doctors, Green Death, Day of the Daleks, and Colony in Space (the last two for nostalgic reasons).
Lovely appreciation of some very cool stories!
ahhh a good day, when Josh tells us about his fave 3rd doctor stories.... although Spearhead from space at No6?!, unsubscribed!!... JK Josh i love u pls no ban
I think my favourite 6 in no particular order are:
Spearhead from Space
Day of the Daleks
Carnival of Monsters
Frontier in Space
The Time Warrior
& Invasion of the Dinosaurs
I'd love to see Invasion of the Dinosaurs get an optional CGI replacement, though the city from Death to the Daleks and some of the effects from Planet of the Spiders would be nice to see done as well for the Season 11 release too
I think it's interesting how we talk about this thing or that thing as being self-evident in an episode (or the series as a whole), but maybe a lot of that comes with hindsight. Yes, the Autons and the Sontarans make a comeback, but in the original context they're 'monster of the week'. I suppose it's like yesterday's Star Wars celebration. There was that brief couple of years where 'A New Hope' existed completely in isolation - and could easily have stayed that way.
Curse of Peladon...?
For the unsurpassed world building and that awesome Ice Warrior twist!
My favourite Pertwee episodes:
1. Spearhead from Space
2. The Time Warrior
3. Carnival of Monsters
4. The Green Death
5. The Three Doctors
6. Inferno
1. Inferno
2. The Mind of Evil
3. The Sea Devils
4. Terror of the Autons
5. Spearhead from Space
6. Ambassadors of Death
Invasion of the Dino boys genuinely is such a comfort story for me. It’s just such a charming and joy filled romp. Especially when In black and white as well. Warm cuppa. Biscuits and Dino boys is all you need on a rainy Sunday let’s be honest
1/2. Inferno/Carnival of Monsters (I just love them both for different reasons, it's impossible to pick a favourite)
3. The Time Warrior
4. The Green Death
5. Spearhead from Space
6. The Curse of Peladon
Good that your video title wasn't "Top Five"! I have 6: Terror of the Autons, Three Doctors, Planet of Spiders, Planet of the Daleks, The Silurians, Mind of Evil!
I like the 3th and 7th more, because they are very unique. And the third james bond style is the best.
Glad to have a fellow like you out there representing Invasion of the Dino Bois, now If only someone redid the effects in Dinosaurs on a Spaceship to look like the ones in Dino Bois, then all would be right in the world
In no particular order my top 6 would be Inferno, The Mind of Evil, The Daemons, The Sea-Devils, The Green Death and The Time Warrior.
We probably do think you are crazy for putting IotD at No. 1. We still appreciate the thought that went into it and look forward to more 'madness'.
I 100% agree with your list. If it was a top 7 I’d would put inferno in as I love that story too. Also great video.
It runs a TOUCH long for me in some spots, but overall, I think Inferno is my favorite Third Doctor story.
I am glad you added The Three Doctors. My favorite Jon Pertwee episode. One of my favorite episodes of Doctor Who
I was surprised how good Invasion of the Dinosaurs was when I watched it, I assumed it was just gonna be a load of bollocks. Deserves to be on the top ten list for sure.
I think people get hung up on the model work, that they forget there is a great story underneath. Plus, I think the models give a bit of humour to it!
It's such a shame UA-cam have forced-in so many advert breaks with this video. You're work is so incredible Josh and deserves better!
1. Inferno
2. The Time Warrior
3. The Three Doctors
4. Spearhead from Space
5. Day of the Daleks
6. The Mind of Evil
1. Spearhead from Space
2. Inferno
3. The Time Warrior
4. The Daemons
5. Day of the Daleks
6. The Mind of Evil
I think The Sea Devils and Inferno would always go in my top 6 for Pert's era. I'm not sure why there isn't more love for The Sea Devils! I really don't like Carnival. It's got a fairly good Holmes script, but nothing like his best. Tenniel Evans and Ian Marter are great to watch, but Leslie Dwyer and Cheryl Hall are truly woeful! I would never put it in the top half of Pert stories, let alone top six.
my favourite story is the green death probably just because I live in south Wales and hearing them trying to say a Welsh word is funny
