Keep the jeans and the soup pots. When you get settled in your new house you may want to have a buffet with a couple of soups. Things like that are a pain when moving, but you will be so glad later!
You have such interesting videos. When I found you on the recycled life and you were just starting and you were so new at this video stuff. You were very uncomfortable but your growth is fantastic. You have schooled yourself. Personality is a strong suit for you. You have bloomed Laura. 😊
Laura you are my favorite UA-cam personality right now. I really enjoy the art, design and history knowledge that you share during your videos. Few UA-cam thrifters do that. I feel like I learn every episode and also enjoy every episode.
Keep both for a winter soup dinner party. Two kinds of soup, (entree and main) plus rustic homemade bread and salads. Let your guests vote on the preferred pot (and favourite soup?). My guess is you’ll subconsciously put your favourite soup in the pot you don’t realise yet that you prefer. ;)
I wish both you and Selena the best in all you do. I hope you'll leave your Recycled Life videos on UA-cam, since they're a great resource for those of us learning more about thrifting and antiquing. They're also delightful fun. Again, wish you the best, but please leave your archives in place.
I am always amazed as to how many mid century/60's, 70's pieces you are able to consistently thrift! I think I need to move to Washington! I loved the newer soup tureen! Keep it! In addition, it is one of Israel’s “Seven Species" that are listed in the Torah and are a symbol of fertility and love. I cannot believe you would consider returning the jeans! They look so adorable on you... and that purse! Great little outfit! (I like the newest soup set. The lid is so cool!)
I agree the jeans look FAB on you! They look very similar to a pair my best friend had & embroidered herself in the ‘70s! Her daughter is now the proud owner & wears them! I’m sorry but that “purse” looks like a placemat folded in half and a couple of macramé holders sewn on....
I understand why you and Selena are doing your own thing, and total respect for your decisions. I read the comments on both of your channels and many of your followers don't know what has happened to "Laura and Selena", so maybe one more TRL, Q and A for closure would be helpful for the fans. You girls together or doing your own thing makes me happy to watch. Cheers!
Love the plate...it is not hideous..I think it’s gorgeous...the prices at your Goodwills are amazing and the stuff is not too shabby, in Chicago they’re a joke, they actually sell broken and chipped items at high prices
Super great finds, Laura! My husband brought me one of those pierced brass candle holders w/ cover from a trip to Pakistan in the early 70's. We were stationed in England and he was an Air Force pilot who flew lots of missions to Pakistan. One time he brought me a beautiful rosewood coffee table all inlaid with copper & brass curlicues...had to stow it in the empty bomb bay.....to get it to me! I was blessed!! I love those floral patch jeans on you! Hope you keep them! Keep up the great job! It's a big walk down memory lane for me!

The Israeli candlesticks possess a stylised pomegranate motif not olives - great find!
Ohhh thank you!!

Yes, pomegranates.
