      I agree after we installed these coils we gained closer to 7” of front height which the customer liked so we left it alone. We could have reduced the spring rate which would have reduced the front height.

      @@AutoParts4Less Mine did the same thing. I installed them on my 2017 and the front was much higher. What I found was these coilovers were actually binding on the UCAs. I drove for a couple days to see if it would settle, but had tons of tire squeal and issues turning, so I took them off and found rub marks on the coils where the stock UCA and coils contacted each other. I put the old ones back on for now and the problems went away. Did you see the same issues on this one?

      Upper control arms are not required, however I would highly recommend them to get an ideal alignment as the Tundras have unique turning characteristics (tightest in the industry) that can create alignment issues. Also, lead times can very on ProComp coils please live chat for ETAs and discount codes!!

    Would these still work with the Zone lift kit on the tundra? It uses a lower strut spacer instead of the top strut spacer like other lifts? Price is very appealing since fox coils would be almost 1900.

    • @AutoParts4Less
      @AutoParts4Less  6 років тому +1

      This would replace the entire assembly, you would not use the Zone extension at all. Also these yields 6-7” of front lift so you would want to reduce the spring compression rate to reduce the front lift height.

  • @J.NOBODY.1
    @J.NOBODY.1 6 років тому

    Are there any control arms you would recommend? I have been looking at the SPC arms and the zone ones.

    • @AutoParts4Less
      @AutoParts4Less  6 років тому

      Subie Jason Lots of options I like the BDS arms as they sit in the factory position and don’t require new wheels but still correct for much better alignment specs

    • @J.NOBODY.1
      @J.NOBODY.1 5 років тому +1

      So I removed my zone lift after having constant alignment problems and went with the pro comp stage 2 7 inch lift. Pro comp has a promotion going on where you get a 500 dollar mail in rebate. So you get a full coilover lift for 2k. Can't beat that. Went with 35x13.50r20 toyo rt and 20x12 fuel maverick's. The truck rides better than stock believe it or not. Pro comp knows what they are doing. Loving the lift so far. Also got the pro comp skidplate to protect the underbody.
