lol amen
I have a BDS 6 inch lift with fox coil overs on my 2012 F150 FX4 and have had it for about 4 to 5 years. I love it! Real smooth factory like ride depending on the wheels you pair it with. Definitely worth the extra money for the coil overs.
Worth the extra money for a rwd truck ?

Ive ran a 3.5” lift on my Jeep YJ and it rocks. Well built, all American parts. Good service and even gave me a military discount. I’ll keep using them.
What are you running now? We’d love to see your jeep in the gallery on our website! Customoffsets.com/add
I still think bds should stand for BEST DAMN SUSPENSIONS
Just bought a 2024 Silverado ZR2 Bison and putting their 4” BDS lift on it using the stock multimatics . My 2019 Colorado ZR2 Bison runs the 3.5” BDS lift using the multimatics and has been a beast running 35” KM3s
I really appreciate all the information you all give on this channel. I just bought a 2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn. I’ve been itching to put a 4” or 6” lift. I’ve also been a little reluctant because I was worried about my warranty. I’m happy to hear that BDS is not just a great quality lift, but will also stand by their customers about manufacturers warranties! Not to mention that they have a good ride and not just off road performance. Thanks again guys!! Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend! 😎👍
You as well! Thank you for the love and support!🤙
Its simple. You spend 80. 100,000. On a truck you MUST USE THE BEST PARTS !!! LOVE BDS
I ran 3.5 inch CJ-7 to yj kit on my 81 cj7 renegade, it was on 1ton full width axles and 39.5 swampers, I hit something and bent a front leaf, bds sent me a new front leaf at no charge to my door , all the way to Ontario Canada. They really do stand behind their stuff
Hit skip ad, then a 7:22 min. ad for bds came on.
This is why i spent the extra $$$$ and got a BDS
Shoulda spent extra money n’ got carli
Custom Offsets is the shit. These guys tell it like it is. Seeing more and more lifted trucks on anystreet USA. Ride high and wide.
hey thanks Bill, you're pretty neat yourself
I’m personal from the Coldwater area and have bought my systems from Sport Truck USA. Have been a big time supporter of the hometown shop.
My Chevy 09 was crashed into, broken front suspension. BDS said, here you go. Worth it!!!
Haha I just asked them that question if it would void the manufacturer warranty by lifting my 2018 Silverado and they answered my question right away. Now this video made it even better. Thank You guys @ custom offset.
robotnix92eg GM would have to prove that the lift itself caused any damage. Look up the Magnuson-Moss act
I drove over a 500 lb bear pulling a 40 ft fifth wheel at 60 mph. The bds held it all together. Chevy 1 bear 0.
Kevin Van Driel bear rated.
Sounds bearie interesting.
Bearly made it huh
Having this coil over kit installed on my 2015 High Country Diesel as we speak!!
Finishing it off with some 20" Black Rhino Armories and some 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers should be finished Tuesday!!
I’m buying a bds kit now. I was set on rough country but after watching this I made up my mine bds all the way
Same here. I was on the fence about the bds lift but seeing this and hearing that they make the dealer/company cover the drivetrain warranty really convinced me
Hope you got a fat pocket book
@@thruitallauto2538 I'm sure if he can afford a 50k dollar plus car he can afford a bds lift
Rough country lifts are great just dont use their shocks. I use bilsteins
Hearing those stories about some RC installs makes me hesitant. Maybe people are skipping out on the supporting upgrades for a kit, since they are going RC for price anyways, and that’s causing problems with wonky lifts
I have a BDS 6” lift W/Fox coil overs , on my 2012 Ram 1500 ,I have y truck lifted for over a year and half ,I love it ,I have not had one problem ,the ride is much better then factory, being this was my first lifted truck I did my research and decided togo with the best ,and I have not regretted it once
I like how they make the dealer cover the drivetrain warranty so I'm going 6inch bds lift
In 2015 had my 03 chev 1500 hd lifted with the 6 inch bds, had 110,000 kms, rides better than stock imo, When i inquired about a lift they didn't tell me at the time that it was the best lift. Tried to sell me something else, I did my own research and opted for that kit, waited about a week and a half for delivery, I do my own wrench work and installed it my self, a lil cutting and some welding but it went on smooth, the truck now has 330,000 kms and going strong. I still go practically anywhere I want. Love it and the 6.0 litre moves the 20 inch rims on 35's no prob, also today I still get good gas mileage., and yah I too knew what bds stood for. 😏
6” BDS lift with Fox shocks on my 2020 GMC 1500. THE BEST.
I’m about to do the same. It will be the setup for my daily. So I’m guessing it’s nice. I’m glad to see someone else with the same setup I wanna do. Can I ask if you did 35s or 37’s?
BDS on the ZR2 keeping the stock multimatics is design genius. What has BDS got for the 2020 GMC HD Duramax 2500/3500 ?
I have an f350 super duty and the bds 6 inch lift is a NIGHTMARE. Not death wobble but if you hit a flat dirt road. The ride turns into a living hell. Is there any relief? Its a 2017.
Oh really? We have never had any issues with BDS. We have not only installed a lot but a lot of us here have BDS kits on out personal trucks.
Thank you guys for making BDS what it is today..
Appreciate the love!
Gm sells you bds lifts you can go to dealers and tell them you want your truck lifted as well and they can add the lift wheels and tires as well
thomas deshazo they can but the dealers charge you an extra 10k when you can get it all for under 4k.
My RAM dealer sold me a BDS lift kit too lol
just got a 6 inch BDS with Fox shocks put onto my 2020 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss Z71 LT midnight edition. love it
BigRed Made In America Awesome I have the exact same truck considering a 6 in lift as well. Does if ride smooth ?
@@jerrylocz1 Perfect! Couldn't be happier and it looks great. Rather pay the extra money for a quality product.
@@american_chevy616 does it ride smoother than standard suspension? What size wheels and tires do you have on and what brand/model? I have the 2020 Sierra 2500HD SLT and want a lift kit by BDS. Please help. Thanks!
I have a 4”.5 on my 2002 gmc and I have that truck in the oil field day after day and runs grate 👍🏻
Doing a BDS 6 inch lift on my 2017 Tacoma. Can't wait!
Did you do it? Contemplating their 6 inch for my 17 tacoma. Was looking at the King 3 inch for higher speed performance off road, but the 6 inch looks so much better.
I must have lived under a rock never heard of bds till now
I worked at a factory in indiana, Mathew Warren, that coiled springs for BDS. I actually tapered the bars on a taper roll machine before they would get coiled.
“Kind of a big deal when you’re talking about going to the mall in the rain” I fucking lost it. Well done
They know their audience...
What a goat. Really sealed the deal on me getting my 3 in lift for my JK!
Emilio Saldana if you haven’t bought it yet there are much better options on the market for Jeeps. If you did buy it, it’ll be ok but I’d be planning to swap it out in less than 5 years.
I just ordered my 6" base kit with the upgraded fox shocks. For my 2017 ram bighorn 4x4.
At the same time, angles wont be so spot on if they added more height. Dont blame them for sticking to what delivers the best results. Anyone can make a lift to put you up but BDS engineers know what they are doing in my experience
Awesome video guys! I'm still very happy with my BDS lift and I would do it again. Thanks again Banker for everything!
Glad to hear you're still loving it Dewey!! -Banker
I was looking for a 4" suspension for my ram and went with the 4" w/2" rear spacers. Better quality vs. Rough country so its an investment in my daily driver.
Any problems with the kit since you got it? I’m looking at the same kit and I have the same truck
@@johnsn10 Nope, none at all. Rides way better then stock and the warranty that BDS offers cant be beat.
FYI, vehicles continuously go down in value, therefore it is not an "Investment", it is a "Want"
BDS has treated me well. Would be great if they came out with a full 10 inch lift for the ram 1500 2010 4x4
I could never get a lift bigger then my D 😂
Thanks for the info I was on the fence of what Lift to choose you pretty much made up my mind with this great video
Glad we could help.
I just bought a 6.5 zone suspension lift for my 2012 silverado. Can't wait to get it on the truck. Bds sister company they say they still have thay warranty but who knows.
I remember going to little shop in Coldwater Michigan in early 90s on us12 called Sport Truck USA. Probably before they were big. It isn't there anymore tho
I just bought my first 8.5 in long arm from BDS....Cant wait!
1 day I’ll finally be a bds owner , I’ve Been following bds on instagram for a year or two now
So damn expensive
Just got me a 201o trail boss, want a 6inch lift but worried about warranty. Although you said bds has a team of lawyers , I still dont want to go through the hassle if my drivetrain was to go out and go back in forth between the dealer and bds customer service.
Warranty is only voided if they can prove that the lift kit was the cause of the part failure. Check out the Magnusson-Moss warranty act for more information.
We need 2019 Silverado lift kits fast fast
Anyone running the coils? I'm going to be buying a BDS lift soon and wondering if spending the extra money on the coil overs is worth it compared to just get the regular shocks.
04Mu9EkY
Just got a 2019 Silverado High country. This video just sold me on a Bds suspension lift kit. Very well done. Will show video of my truck when it’s done. If you have any more info plz email me. Thank you BDS!!!!
Glad it helped!
BDS "lifetime" warranty does not cover the plastic disconnects. Spend $$$$ and get plastic disconnects for off-roading???? I was not impressed, especially when the plastic disconnect broke when I was 200 miles from home off-roading in the Mojave Desert.
Currently running a 8” bds long arm on my 2010 cummins for 6 years and holding up strong with 155,000kms on it. Bushings are finally failing. Excellent quality. As for the fox 2.0s thats a different story..
the shocks are good, your leaf springs are shit
I recommend bilsteins. Fox dont hold up to our climate. Ive went through 10.
Damn I passed on the bilsteins cause the extra hundred bucks and went with the fox shocks.
Lmao that “daaaaaaamn” got me 😂
Procomp also offers drive train warranty. BDS is a great company. Most of the stuff you mentioned was just opinions not actual "truth" about BDS. I do agree we need more companies to offer a 7-9" lift kit.
Johnny Jodes doesn’t the company that owns bds also own procomp?
I'm looking at getting the BDS 6" lift kit for a 2019 Ram 2500 Diesel
BDS
BEST DAMN SUSPENSION
Reason they don’t offer a higher kit for 1/2 tons is because they can’t engineer it to their standards and because as an off road focused company, you don’t need a higher kit. Real off road rigs try to avoid lifting at all but when needed go as minimum as possible
I put a 4” bds lift on my 2018 ram power wagon it now pulls to the right, just climbing a small hill i here this Metal on metal grinding noise I get out check underneath the truck and find my rear driveshaft has scarring from contact between the driveshaft and the rear skid plate
Have a 7" BDS on my 08 Duramax with glide ride springs in the rear and fox 2.0 shocks. Ride's like a Cadillac for a lifted truck
Damn right , Big Dick Suspension , always was , always will be the best !!
2016 GMC Canyon w/ 5.5 BDS lift. 80k+ miles and haven't had touch it at all. 35" Nitto 's all even wear no cupping.
I have a BDS 4 inch lift suspension on my 05 Ford Excursion! Absolutely love it! 😎
Bds makes a 7" for a Tundra
And for GMC sierra
You’ve obviously never heard of Carli or PMF suspension, that’s the best out there.
Check out our Carli Suspension systems here!

So glad I found your channel before I picked a lift kit.
I have a 2012 Ram 1500 with a 6” BDS lift with coilover and upgrade fox suspension. I love it since I lifted my truck 4 months ago I can’t seem to stop doing more and more to my truck . UPGRADED MY BRAKES FIRST then some 22” wheels (Ballistics from custom offset) sitting on 35’s with a Cool air intake , and masterflow 40 series . Muffler Extended side mirrors , I custom painted door panels last week when they were taken off for a few days to have a After market audio system installed , a tuner and new leather seat covers and I should be done ..oh cutmized the grille light under neath , a light 20” light bar behind the grill a 50” light bar on my roof and to small lights cut into my rear bumper so I can see my back up cam when I’m Parking because I replaced my licenses plate light and interior done lights with red LED’s looks cool but I couldn’t see Shit when in reverse it’s better now
sounds like a sick build Allen! Be sure to add it up to customoffsets.com/add so we can feature it!
Soooo if bds has a team of lawyers, zone does as well????
No you are paying for the upgraded warranty and the attorney services by going with the BDS kit. The Zone kits are almost the same parts but less warranty.
@@JusstG I believe BDS owns zone
@@MrBigjays Yes you are correct I didnt say they didnt. But you do not get the same coverage from the lower end kits. BDS kits have the warranty and legal coverage that zone does not.
@@MrBigjays No, they don't own them. But they are both under the same parent company "Sport Truck USA"
Yeah they should it states it on the 560plus website which is the warranty program
Yay. 2020 silverado crew cab. Buying soon
Had BDS on my Ram years ago. I loved it. I plan to get another soon.
If your on a budget go with Rough Country they are good lift kits as well but not as good as BDS now with BDS you feel the difference a big difference especially the ride quality it feels like your riding in air😂. It may cost couple of hundred dollars more than RC but it’s totally worth it iffff you are not on a budget. From cheap to expensive I recommend RC, BDS, MCGA. I currently have the 9 inch lift BDS kit before that I had the 6 inch RC lift. Own a 2017 Chevy Silverado z71. Might go with 2018 soon. Hard work pays off and I’m only 18 working double shifts on the weekends and 2 double shifts in the weekdays with one day off every week! Grind boy and girls get that money. Now if you have daddy’s money you are one lucky MF
Personally, I would just wait and save up for BDS rather than buying Rough Country. I've gone that route before and RC was starting to sag within about 2 years.
Rich Hanner same here I have BDS now
I highly suggest you ask those who sell their product about customer support before buying, it sucks. Good product but if anything is wrong or shipped wrong you are screwed. Will take hours on phone to fix! Warranty not worth a thing if just getting right parts was so much work.
I was thinking about Rough Country or BDS 4-6 inche lift for my 2015 Ford F150 Lariat 4×4. Got 18in wheels but wanted to get the tires and rims later.
Good choices!
My 7 inch BDS lift is on the way for my 2500 GMC sierra light duty after the discount and promo code I got it for only $1867 🤙 4-6 weeks
I am about to put a BDS 4 inch lift on my 2022 chevy colorado ZR2. I not sure if I want to put 33's or 35's on the truck when I put the lift on it.
Custom offset the best they still react with people who comment on old videos 💪💯
Absolutely!
Can u guys mention and/give pointers on speedometer calibration, gear ratio adjustment and how important it is?
I'm from Battle Creek, MI and had no idea BDS was started nearby 🤘
I guess I'll get that lift for my '14 Longhorn Laramie then!!
is it true that BDS will never allow my 2014 f150 to ride level??
I just bought a 2013 Chevy 1500 with a BDS Lift and I was wondering if you could tell me where to measure to know whether it's a 4 inch or 6 inch
I wonder how it holds up to Michigan potholes?
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot I know exactly what you're talking about, I'm from Coldwater and those potholes can be deadly.
From michigan myself and I know exactly what your talking about.
Probable pretty damn good since they are based out of Michigan, I'm sure they tested them a lot.
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot lol Ohio and Michigan have HORRIBLE roads
PepperShLong we sold our farm and hit the road across the country and back a couple times, we went back to MI last week for the day I don't miss those roads or the salt. There are some really crappy roads in the U.S. We have been down roads that I can't honestly believe my f350 came out alive.
I bought a 6 inch bds lift for my 93 bronco… roughly 2500$ and they don’t come with extended brake lines ? I kinda regret buying
I have their 6 inch lift on my 2011 short bed and love it
Does anyone know if you can use a BDS 6 inch lift kit or if they make a 6 inch lift kit for a 98 GMC crew cab dually 3500 with a 454 not that I know that matters.
So I put a 6-inch zone lift in my truck. And not even 6 months later, Maine changed a bunch of stuff on their inspection laws. It is over an inch too tall and the front wheels stick out past the fender even with the fender flares. Does the 4.5 BDS stick out past the front fenders, also?

08 gmc 3500 saw running Fabtech 6 inch. 120000 miles no problems.
If it's such a great lift kit, why don't they not fix my transmission if things go wrong? Just an idea....if you change the geometry off the truck you should stand behind it and not the dealership....my 2 cents
Wish y’all would a shop close or in Texas. I’ve been wanting to get a BDS kit and love yalls work. I’m always on-the-go so time is hardly existent for me
We ship world wide Mr. Cruz!
AWESOME 👍 getting my 21 ranger XLT lifted in a couple weeks 🇺🇸

You don't want a rough country lift, Junk. Go Procomp, good lift kit and reasonable price.

Awesome! Make sure you add it to our gallery if you havent already!

I could see how they could defend you with the lift but what about bigger tires and wheels? Couldn't the dealer nail you for that?
Is that the Fox River Brewing in the background? I love that place. I'm in Appleton at least 3 times a year buying fire trucks from Pierce. Great review of BDS lifts, i'm running the 6" on a 2016 F-250..
Yessir! We're on the other side of town now! :D
My first BDS kit was a 2006 Silverado I liked it so well I put it on my o ten Silverado
BDS is cool and all but I don't want a 6 inch lift for my 1996 Chevy Silverado1500 z71 I want a 3 inch lift and rough country has what I need so in my opinion BDS is mainly for the newer trucks and they probably don't care about the 90's full size trucks.
Quite a few companies are only making 6" lifts for the older trucks, maybe they will develop a 4.5" for the OBS's in the near future!
You'll put that 3" on and later want to go higher. Best just get a 6" and be done and satisfied. I'm running a 6" BDS on my 95 GMC and love it compared to my 3" I had on it.
Abe S. 6 inches of lift is cool and all but gas mileage turns to garbage and loading dirt bikes and bed campers into your truck becomes a nightmare not to add the independent front suspension looks like garbage because the 6 inch lift shows way to much of it.
I haven't heard anything good about dbs lift kits here around my state, and only few places well installed them, work only delivery quality, and prove them wrong,I would like to install a 4 inch 4 link on my 2018 f250.
just crawled out from the rock....had never heard of them until tonight when i researching lifts for my new 2021 off road taco!
I too, think that BDS makes the best suspensions. They are most expensive but you get what you pay for. That being said I was disappointed to see that they discontinued the 166H kit. I was very surprised also with the amount of vehicles out there that kit fits. I have an 89 S10 2door blazer and a 91 which I am working on now. I wanted to put a suspension lift in it and found that Rough Country is the only one that is making that kit and after looking at the quality of that kit it looks bargain basement. No upper A-frames and thinner brackets compared to the 166H. Any chance you are going to be bringing that kit back?
I got the bds on my 1500 rides like a dream but i need some stickers🤔
