Thanks for making this video! I got the same situation of not having buttons or dials to change the volume and songs. My mistake is that I should buy the unit that has a dial knob. So now im gonna buy something same like this control button.
Man those beeps are annoying when you try to change the station. Hope that can be turned off! Great review by the way! Also you have a lovely car!

Thank You for the instructions, I seen the Key 1 and 2 wires but wasn't sure how they connected. I have a similar radio..gps, dvd radio back up camera and the ones that are covered with the rubber caps are for headrest monitors.I Play cool Music Videos that I downloaded from UA-cam. Now me and those in my vehicle can watch the music. I just received my steering wheel controls from eBay also and will be mounting the controls on my 2004 Tacoma in which it has a vinyl steering wheel and not steel like yours. I plan on drilling into the steering wheel about an 8th of an inch with a 1 3/8 inch paddle bit so the controls will sit in the drilled holes. Hopefully I can make a video like yours. Also you may know this by now , the key sounds can be disabled through the settings. Maybe you enabled them
Hi, just to let you know I got it to work, Candy from joying she told me what was wrong, it was at the back of the unit it has 4 wires going nowhere, one wire said key and on there said canbus out , they have to be connected to be able to connect the steering wheel control to key1 and key 2 to work

I have pioneer dmh-a340dab and don't have in menu option for Steering Wheel control ( in settings ) . The unit have a 3.5" jack SWC and i have the cable with Key 1 and Key 2 and Ground. Do you believe if i conect only the wires ( Key 1 , Key 2 , Ground , 12V ) will work ?

Hows the battery life on the units. I bought a joying strap on swc and the battery life is crap

Hi, I have the same unit and the same steering control buttons, but it does not work any ides why, I changed the battery on them, as I thought it might be the battery, but still it did not work , help please
John Saeed did you set up the buttons in the setup menu?
tuscancmh , I can’t nothing is working the way you did, when I go to the steering setting, it says just like the one you did, press and hold and then select the button you want, but nothing happens, I went out and tried again, checked the connections, still nothing

I have android radio.. everytime I turn off my car the radio is completely off and when I turn on my car the radio take too much time to work
You should have two power wires for the android radio. One of the wires keeps standby power to keep its memory going when the car is off.
Can you provide product info on the steering wheel controls?

I love it. The best part is the super bright screen.
tuscancmh I have the atoto a6 that replaces this unit because this unit over heats and the display is bright but the colors fade depending on the angle, and it doesn’t support many other features. It stopped working after 8 months
