The views from the volcanoes over Albuquerque and the mountain ranges doesn't get better than this, unless you are looking around from the top of Sandia. Nice video as always.
Thanks for the tips! We visited the Monument before, but didn’t know you could walk up to the volcano area! Great views too! Enjoyed seeing all the mountains on the horizon! 👍☀️☀️☀️
Isn't it always crazy to look at the formations, read about them and still try to imagine lava and rock spewing here and there? I never can fathom it. Looks like a nice hike though!
As much as it would be tempting to go to the top of the volcano, what a great tribute to follow the tradition of the Pueblo Nations there and follow their request to not climb. Beautiful spot.
Hey thanks for taking us with your hike and for sharing all the info about these volcanoes and the mountain ranges. We love to vlog our hiking adventures too so will add this on the list we will visit when the pandemic is over. We absolutely agree, one silver lining during this pandemic is exploring our own backyard and appreciating nature more. Keep safe! Hello from your new friends in New Zealand 😍
oh thank you so much! I dream to visit New Zealand! I have a huge bucket list, but NZ sounds so incredible! With plenty of volcanoes your way as well. Ha!! Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out the video!!!
I’m wondering if these are the ones i flew over on my way home from California. There was a city nearish, by a small mountainy spot. It was most likely over New Mexico but i had no way of knowing exactly where.
it very well could've been! I believe there are volcanos sprinkled all over this area, these are pretty close together in a straight line when you view them from above. Thanks for checking it out!
@@SwiftyTravels the main three I spotted from the plane were in a straight line, and there was one off to the side of one of the three, so I’m not sure. But the three in a line was part of what caught my notice about rhe area in your video
Great hike and info. Had no clue these where there. Also appreciate how you remind us to respect the indigenous peoples desire to keep the ground sacred 👍🙌🏼
What beautiful views! You can see so far in every direction. Really enjoy the fact that you respect the places you visit and just enjoy the volcanoes around their perimeter 😄 as always great tips and great video!

Walking is good for your health. Walking can prevent and cure disease. So I'm making walking a daily life.
That is great! I really need to get out and walk more as well!! Thanks so much for your comment!
You really love what you are doing, I can feel it from your videos. 👏 Travelling passion ! 👍 🙂
Thank you so much! Yes!! I am having a lot of fun!!!
I'll have to do this in the fall the dogs said it was too hot in the spring time
the fall would be best. There is no shade here. In the fall the skies are so clear and blue and the air is crisp! :-)
Today I visited the monument I hiked to the top of black volcano and Vulcan but not JA and I got to hike the two small other cones.
The views are spectacular from the volcanoes!
Welp I almost fell down hiking Vulcan but I also underestimated 215 feet..
Isn't it always crazy to look at the formations, read about them and still try to imagine lava and rock spewing here and there? I never can fathom it. Looks like a nice hike though!
Thanks for checking it out! I wonder when these guys will awaken again...Ha!!! :-)
Video looks very engaging , so much to see and know 👌 new friend connecting . see you around 🙂
Thanks so much I appreciate it!!
This looks amazing! Definitely want to take a trip to New Mexico and explore around Albuquerque... will have to put this on the list!
Thanks! Hopefully the other indoor attractions will open soon! There is a lot to do/see :-)
Hey I leave on Sandia crest.
Nice! It's so beautiful!
Just to say near the middle of Vulcan and black volcano I see a cone or a vent I don’t know what it is do you know??
I saw it from google earth.
Have you visited mount capulin?
@@utahball5206 I think it's another volcanic vent, all in a line- they just didn't name it- the exact geologic term, I don't know
As much as it would be tempting to go to the top of the volcano, what a great tribute to follow the tradition of the Pueblo Nations there and follow their request to not climb. Beautiful spot.
Thanks so much! I try to stay respectful, if I had not read about it ahead of time, I wouldn't have known that- not everyone does :-(
If there dormant then that can mean that they had a massive eruption like 3-4 vei.
My grammer is crap today.
It's possible!!! 🤞
😂😂
OH my god on google earth in the crater of vulcan there was a “S O S” and also a house next to it.
@@utahball5206 that is creepy!! I know they dont want you to go on top of the volcanoes… what are they hiding up there😳. Great find!!👍
I love sceneries like this, the volcano in the middle of this huge area is really amazing!
Thanks so much! You can see for miles!
Did you see a creator at top of the volcano?
The path doesn't take you on the tippy top but I believe you can see small craters on the top from google earth.
Is biking allowed there?
Unfortunately no, mountain bikes are not permitted here according to the website
