As a New Mexican, it’s always disappointing how little people know about my beautiful home state!
nowhere in the world will you ever see a sunset like the sunsets in the Land of Enchantment
I grew up in Artesia until I graduated HS and never moved back. The state has some great stuff, but the democrats have ruined it like everything they touch. Great vid!
I live in Gallup New Mexico and let me tell you, it is one of the most beautiful landscapes of The United States.
You just barely scratched the surface. I was a fortunate child growing up in New Mexico, where every summer I got to travel the back roads and trails of that magical state with my father. It's one of America's best kept secrets. Nice vid!
The longer I live in New Mexico the more I have grown to love this state. Maybe the quiet or the step back in time.
growing up in New Mexico, my dad was very into hunting out the lost ghost towns all over the state, the area around Magdelena, Chimayo, Carizozo, Tucumcari, Jemez, all real places to be discovered, take your time in New Mexico, there's a lot to see, Algodones, Pena Blanca, Vaughn
I once stopped in a town in New Mexico called Wagon Mound. I’ll never forget how isolated it felt to be there for just a few minutes.
LOVE MY STATE WE GET ALL FOUR SEASONS OF WEATHER IN 20 MINUTES
You're showing me places that I would never otherwise be able to see. And they are so different from where I live. Thanks Adam!
With tears streaming down my face I can't THANKYOU enough for this video. My dad was taken to Taos.N.M. then to a area then called Cuatas above Moses. He married there in in 1929..and they left for OKLA. In 1938.. His dad died in. Raton..in 1939..
I've done 5 solo trips from Chicago to Monterey California and back. New Mexico is one of the most beautiful places to drive through!
While you’re in New Mexico, I recommend visiting Cloudcroft in the Lincoln National Forest, elevation 8,668 feet. The town centre hasn’t changed much since the 1880s.
Great video. My wife and I spent a number of years in New Mexico. At the time, I admit that I didn't appreciate it. But I do now. We just got back from NM a few months ago as we did a little week-long vacation back to the Land of Enchantment. New Mexico is a very unique place. It's impossible to really describe it. You just have to experience it.
I look forward to these videos every morning. They've been my morning routine with a cup of coffee!
UK - I have visited NM several times for long periods , I was based more south in Alamogordo. I loved the state, I visited one of those old town run down stores, there was a large tray of Indian arrow heads " Indian War Surplus " ( still makes me smile ) . thanks for the memories.
Wow, gorgeous land of enchantment.!!!
Thank you Adam for this video. It's a very special one for me as I drove most of the roads you were on in this video. I lived in New Mexico 40 years ago and even though I found it exciting to revisit my favorite state, and you presented the content with respect and did not trash the hamlets and rundown towns you featured. Time has not been kind to my rural New Mexico but it's still beautiful. I still love it.
I'm going to be sad when this road trip is over. I demand you then head back East and cover more small towns!
