It's refreshing to see that someone who plays so abysmally bad that LS says that even Annie is too hard for him, and that in front of thousands of live viewers, many of whom are actively mocking him on twitch chat, can still keep his head help up high and be willing to learn. I would say that someone like this is much more likely to climb in the long run than most of the other people that LS coaches.

I actually have mad respect for this guy. I feel a lot of the same issues he speaks about in the beginning. To go from that to playing in front of thousands, while being coached by LS, takes big balls. Respect to LS for teaching a lower tier player as well. It's refreshing to see someone who is probably a visual representation of my skill level be coached by a pro--this at the cost of what his base viewership is.

@@mysticflow467 Lane control, outside of bot lane(which still utilizes lane control) used to be a very big deal. The game moved away from it when players like Darien and Stanley would push waves, let you 'freeze' while they roamed and made plays on the map. The issue with freezing is you leave your jungler out to dry. If you try to help them, you lose your freeze and CS. If you stay and farm, your jungler is literally denied part of the map - assuming the enemy jungler and laner being froze are smart.

    • @brittlebones9071

@@faveology That's sorta the point what LS makes... only freeze when the enemy can't do anything even if they try. Some champs simply can't do anything if they roam besides be a minor nusiance. If your jungler is bot side, all of top side cleared then top decides to freeze with river vision there's no drawback. The enemy top can't do anything besides spam jungler to unlock the freeze.

The problem with Annie's q (all targeted spells) is that it's range is calculated from center to center, however autoattacks are calculated from edge to edge. That makes the 625 range on both very misleading since annie's q is indeed shorter due to how it's calculated.

In the Annie vs garen matchup, I would think that the Annie should keep poking garen down since she has the ranged advantage. This is also what a lot of people have told me. But for some reason it obviously didn’t work in the 1v1. So how exactly should that guy have played the lane?

im also left handed and have the mouse in the left hand. i just suse the pc as normal, and i dont think it would be called left handed on pc if you play with inverted. then you are just playing with inverted settings. i mean how do you even end up trying to change that. even tho ur left handed you wont think so much about it in erly ages and you will just get used to it? he is legit saying he has forced this on imself and could play like a right-handed person...

Tbh in gaming you have to be skilled with both hands anyway. You need to know the buttons and positioning perfectly, and well mouse movement. I can imagine it is easier to learn mouse movement with your dominant hand. That said, nothing stops you from learning it the other way around. And after years of using it you won't notice the difference i guess :)
In sports its still different, there is usually also a strength/dex difference in dominant hand/leg but gaming doesn't require that much. Its more speed of thought/timing. (maybe it changes on really high lvls but ...)

i always thought ranked anxiety was just that you don't play enough ranked so you are not used to the higher pressure. I had that too and just grinded trhough it. now it's completely fine.

Hmm, I'm not sure about the ranked anxiety bit. I kind of agree there's an underlying issue that creates the problem, but that's not necessarily reflected in tests. I get ranked anxiety but I actual really enjoy tests and quizzes, not to mention performing improv on stage in front of an audience (even though I'm bad at it). But happy to watch this content nonetheless!

Are there videos on freezing in mid? mages can break waves really easy, it doesn't feel as simple as freezing on a top laner, just seems a lot harder vs these ranged characters with wave clear, so what's go on denying them xp and gold?

Max Waldo. He, along with another person named Autumn, live with LS and offer coaching. As to the cheap part, I think LS said on stream that Max charges $8 a game and I imagine that comes with post-game review and such.
