You watch ls video comprehending the macro plays and realizing your mistakes, ready to ultilize your knowledge you jump into soloq. That's when you face reality. While you're holding 2 waves crashing on side lane, your team is 4 man fountain diving malphite with tier 1 still up.
A little extreme, but accurate when comparing the type of plays gone for in high elo Korean games compared to mid to low elo NA games, there is even a discrepancy between high elo Korea and high elo Na to an extent.
As a 4+year sub, this is exactly the kind of content I always hoped to see you branch out to LS. Please keep up the consistent uploads and content :)
Kinda unrelated but I really wish League had Dota's "player perspective" to see exactly how players move and what they're looking at and stuff.

The freeze thing when theres no objetives is really helpful in soloq actually, especially when you lose lane as an adc
just make sure you mute you're team, otherwise you'll have to deal with you team spaming report, because your teammates demand that you hold hands while they clear the midlane waves
@@shinobiwannabe unfortunately, freezing mid and late game will only work in high elo, because in low elo people will just force fights or get caught out for no reason, regardless of whether there is an objective to get. Because of that, you basically have to always stay close to your team when it looks like they’re about to do something stupid

Because of DOPA, I discovered TF and have an 80% winrate in gold right now. I'm climbing blindingly fast. I am so grateful that he does so much content, I absolutely love my new main!
What you did not notice is that Apdo used all 6 of his minion demetiliriazer ( I know I didn't spell it correctly) on caster minions so he can later one shot them with a Q while they are about to crash into the his minions, so he can shove quicker. He deals 9% more damage to caster minions because he used all charges for them.

Theres something I dont get. How do you read when a push is good or when a freeze is the most viable option? I understand that your goal is the generally marginalize your opponents XP and gold gain, but I also often see you chastize players for pushing too hard or freezing at an inopportune moment. I'm just not getting the context I guess.
Neo Nanite Normally, you hard push with champions that posses powerful roam potential (an example could be TF, kassadin, taliyah etc...) it could also depend on the mid laners potential of beating his opponent 1v1 (or with a gank if it's possible) naturally, if you cannot kill you opponent or harass him out of lane, you push the lane out in order to not get harrased and successfully have a positive impact on the game by simply roaming. On the other hand, you freeze to deny your opponent xp and gold by zoning him away from his CS, not all champions are efficient at freezing, and sometimes freezing is not the most optimal solution especially when the opponent is able to roam and successfully obtain objectives around the map while waiting for the freeze to break. I believe this is it in a nutshell.
Anthony Bolduc Freezing against talon almost guarantees a won lane, but it puts the team at a major disadvantage as talon will most likely seek to roam and gank bot or top or even capture objectives with his jungler. If talon fails to gain an advantage through roaming, then he will have an exp and gold deficit that will put him at a disadvantage (compared to his opponent), which most likely means he might not only lose the lane but also the game. It's hard to say without you mentioning his opponent, as a champion such as tf must freeze against talon (especially after 6) as he is able to match talon and counter-gank him on his roams, so there are several special cases when it comes to freezing. I suggest you think about it when playing mid and ask yourself, can I match my opponent?
Yes, you should be in control of the lane just like Apdo did, letting him push but at the same time keeping the minions soft enough so the lane goes dark when it crashes into you and if he ends up roaming you can parallel his movements to the point where the roaming is "stopped".
I learned that you don't freeze when your opponent is roaming. Wave manipulation and freezing is most impactful early game.
In_Vas_Por That depends on whether or not you can match him in a roam. TF can simply use his ultimate to not only teleport to counter-gank talon, but he can also use it for vision to check his whereabouts.

In reference to the Talon face/click part, I get everything you said, but I don't understand whether the "subtly" in this instance was a good thing or a bad thing. You said looking at someone's face can tell you a lot about their intentions...so are you saying in this case it actually didn't?
Im not quite sure, but i think he he made a mistake at 15:17 clearing that ward.... its the right move to controll ward it, but hes should destroy it later... after he cleared this he stayed out of enemy-minionsvision to be safe and i guess mainly to create mappressure onto the enemyteam. So if he just doesnt touch the ward at all they have to wonder if he might be roming top right now, especially since its a quite unsual behaviour not instantly clearing the ward after u just planted a controllward

This is a really tough game for faker. I think Apdo capitalized of the enemies mistakes incredibly well, and faker wasn't able to respond and didn't have similar options. gg

At 14:13, Apdo's ulti is like 1000 IQ because he also scares faker to cancel recall and suicide into fountain whilst simultaneously ganking bot.

True, but TF is missing which most likely makes him go into fountain, you would think that he realises that tf isn't in range of ulti, and saw him leave midlane to the left, furthermore, he knows where 4 people 100% are on map, and also knows where rengar is, so him executing, only possible explanation is that tf leaves the lane, he had no reason to be spooked. So, w/e 900 IQ Leaving Lane :P

1:05 This game is already very different from most of my games. I doubt that faker or apdo would play the way they did during jungle's first clear in a normal first bloodless game.

1) i freeze only on Early game, in the mid-game even if i am ahead and can zhone my enemy laner, i just don't care only of that, i will push, because i feel push opens the map, split the enemy team, and group mine, so we can force somthing that they can't contest, and i think that gives the team a better reward than the freeze.
and in a case that you are freezing and a crucial teammate die, and the enemy decide to come to your lane "FREEZED" more like a tower served in a dish for the enemy.
2) i MIGHT FREEZE ONLY in a mid game where WE as a TEAM, are so far ahead that the enemy AND I can't do anything than try to get cs/xp/trade from our lanes,
if i can do somthing else, i would, that somthing else with envolve another teammate will bring the team a better reward than that FREEZE, because of the grouping power that they cant contest.
3) if it is a even game or loosing one, just push and roam/back/buy/do-objectives/vision-control/ IDK but do something than winning the fking solo lane.
if you push, it will open ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

But in soloq you can't just lock a lane and hope for the best. And with the extra member on the map for the other team they'll take some objectives. I see how it can work, but in soloq and in some situations it just can't.

No, and I personally don't think it's Dopa. Trud struggles in dia / masters, while Dopa usually breezes through all the rankings to hit challenger (top 10 within a week). Dopa was putting up multiple good performances in top challenger in China, yet struggles in dia / masters of Korea? (www.laoyuegou.com/x/zh-cn/lol/lol/player.html?globalId=9131000069382.html Dopa's Chinese Account). What I feel gives away Trud isn't Dopa, is how the account was leveled from 0 to 30 and immediately went to rank afterwards. Dopa would just buy an account why would / how can he even level one? He's banned from the KR server.
+OMEGA LOL! that is dopa, first he didn't struggle in dia/ masters as he reached masters with a 90% winrate if im not mistaken and because of his high MMR if u check most of his games are 2500+ which is challenger/ high masters. also the person plays the exact same champions as dopa with same play style if u check midbeast video, but anyway, time will tell :)

A 2k gold lead will increase to a 5k gold lead, to an 8k gold lead and so on. It's called snowballing and it's very very possible with the lead they had. They may have only had 2k lead, but they had a much larger advantage because of key item completions over the enemy team.
While you say "bronze lmo" I say the people first to call others bronze in comment sections are hardstuck silver/gold players lookin to feel good lol.

i feel like a god at laning but im absolute trash past 15 minutes macro wise. what do i do to build my game knowledge in that context
Look at high ranked players playing the champs you play and by high ranked I'm saying d1+, analyze what they do, ask yourself why they ward certain areas, why they are pushing waves at certain times and how often they group with their team for objectives. These are only examples because there is a lot of things to do in this game xdxd
If you’re a god at laning, you should have a large lead in lane and have a high cs per minute. The important thing is to make sure you don’t slow your pace and fall behind. Don’t allow your cs per minute to fall too hard in mid game and late game. The best players (faker,apdo) actually increase their cs per minute once they have a lead. Treat your teammates as npcs. If they’re playing bad, it might not be optimal to let them have YOUR resources. Don’t try to be nice and let them have your kills or minion waves. If they are grouping but doing nothing, you’re wasting your time. Sometimes, the strongest player should be split pushing if they can deal with 2 ppl at the same time. If your team loses that 4 v 3, that just means you should start taking their resources. When high elo players are climbing through low elo, that’s what they do. They just continue getting farmed af while their teammates survive.
Faker and apdo are able to maintain a high cs per minute because they play in the highest elo. Players are good enough to play defensively and survive. So they just continue farming and getting stronger. Sometimes, they’re the one holding off enemy pressure while their team farms. Important thing is to not waste resources.
Richard Li this is very situational while I agree it's good to try and get fed. it's very situational if it's good to take others resources, for example I play kassadin mid I just follow my enemy laner and don't do much in the early game, noob sups and jungles might want to take my cs but that's a shoot in the foot because it's better to have a strong kassadin lategame than a lux which is strong in lane but not as good later or a gragas so it's very situational and I don't agree with ur advice

you are by far the smartest person of theory in LoL, but IMO you always have something against Faker, even when he was it his best your were like "yeah that's what one of the worlds best player, he should of course do that, but if he is even a second late in your opinion he is always the one that missplayed.
To be fair, if you are implying the mid play for the first turret, if Faker was there 1.5-2 seconds earlier, that would change the game completely, Apdo wouldn't have the opportunity to Zhonya, and it would be more of a shut out play with less deaths for the red team.

It seems obscured to second by second analyze every play when it doesn't become a factor in the next 2 minutes into the game. I get it don't get me wrong but it seems pointless to talk about a certain lane pushes such as when apdo team got baron and they had "two" sides advantage to fakers but within the next moment faker and ali dies and it didn't matter. Its unpredictable and for a player to consistently note every bit of whats going on in the game is not possible or LS would be the worlds best player.

even for casual players it's useful, you could say casual goes up to D1+ or maybe even higher depending on your talent and learning ability and how much you played in the past ofc. A lot of this is very useful if you want to improve beyond being hardstuck diamond 5, especially all the wave manipulation/control thingies and decision making.

His accounts are banned when it is 100% confirmed its apdo and not some copycat/other guy. Apdo said he would take a 1 month break because he wasnt playing up to his standards and that he wont be streaming. He never streamed on this account, so no one knows 100% for sure if thats actually him or not.
Apdo only said he would take a month break from streaming. Perfect time to get onto the KR server and play soloq tbh.

Faker executed himself there cuz he assumed another team member was gunna kill him, for that not to happen, he just executed. He was far too deap w low health, and he last person he saw when running away was rengar. So he likely assumed rengar wanted to finish him off.
Nah Rengar gave up and he only stopped his recall to suicide once gate went off from tf. If he felt as though rengar was still chasing he would not have started to recall.
No he stopped the recall twice, its obvious that he thought someone would show up, most likely rengar. He dont see the whole map like you, so rengar could be on his way to base.. their entire base is dark for faker you know.
