Kent! I have done used your recipes to feed 40-60 hungry, hardworking tree planters up here in British Columbia, Canada ! Tried your scallop potatoes too and ooooooeeeeee mamamia si senior! So good! Knock your socks right off! God bless you, God bless your wife and God bless the United States of America!
This man is so wholesome. Even though I don't cook, I love watching his videos because it's almost like you're listening to a kind father figure. What a great guy.
I feel like he's one of those people who would just invite you into his home for a meal and treat you like family. It's such a great channel that gives off positivity and we're sorely lacking in that these days.
He's a man who lives out his Christian faith. He doesn't have to say it. You just see it.
He is! And he's a really gracious guy in person as well. He's the kind of guy everyone wants as a friend. :0
Like Bob Ross' southern brother!
He’s like the cool uncle you wish you had more time to visit.
I sent an email to Kent just saying i was away with the military and he cheered me up. Believe it or not, he replied. Made the final week of my tour. I'd love if he did meet ups etc id fly to America :D
Kent is a great guy on supporting the military Thanks kent ✌🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻👍🏻
Hello good morning. I'm watching from the Philippines.
I was there during Thanks Giving. Nobody celebrates it. I did see turkeys. 🦃🦃
How nice it must be to have a family that celebrates the holidays together. For those of you that do, be thankful for it. Not everyone does, as some families want little to do each other.
And others have passed away. I’m alone
I'm there too, Carol Ferguson. People just need to try & value the family they have and whom they can get along with. Not easy in the crazy mixed up world we live in today.
@@lauriemclean1131 amen. Right. Sorry for your loss. I kinda started hinting to a few people so I am actually going to be with friends on Thanksgiving. I hope you will too
I am celebrating by having friends and a little family over.
I hear you!!! Family is an F-word, and I have enough knives in my back to prove it. Hang in there, tomorrow is coming whether you are ready for it or not ;)
“Over the river and through the woods, to Cowboy Kent’s we go”! All three of these dishes look incredibly delicious and I’ll bet your house smells so good when you set the table. Thanksgiving is my fav holiday. No pressure, just enjoy family and a great meal, and a little football. We have much to be thankful for in this great country! Happy Thanksgiving Kent and Shannon and all the pups. Thank you Lord for all the blessings you shower upon us.
Methinks Ole Kent has turkey hunted a time or two with that call!
My identical twin brother passed away this year on April 9th, so this Thanksgiving will have an empty plate at the table. His wife sold their house and moved away shortly afterwards. But, God is good and with us with through our and my own heartache.
God Bless you, Kent and your family and crew and friends. Happy Thanksgiving!
R.I.P.
Cowboy Kent, I watch your show every morning with my ole dog Gus and we enjoy it so much, my father was a country man and a viet nam veteran, I lost him to the cancer about 2 years ago now, and watching your show reminds me of him so much, we love you cowboy Kent!!! Don’t stop and god bless you and ms Shan!!
Our family will less this year .my children and I lost my wife to covid on Sept 28th. We loved watching your channel but now it's just me watching..doesn't feel the same without her..so we thank you guys for your channel you gave my wife new recipes while she was with us. Bless you guys. And thank you .
I look forward to these videos each time, I feel like You, Shannon, The Beag, Major, Duke, Sadie... and even Andy are part of the family.
My niece and I have a green bean casserole competition every year I think this year I will win thank you Kent for the recipe I can’t wait to try it
Hello Nancy
Those three great sides, and some good homemade tamales...now that is a great West Texas Thanksgiving.
👍🏽TAMALES!!!😋
I'm from Boston. I love this guy. I love his talents and everything that he respresnts about a part of our great country that I don't get to see. Happy Thanksgiving to all
How did you know?! I NEVER know what side dishes to make and always end up browsing online last minute for inspiration. Prayers for God's blessings over you and Shan!
God bless you Kent and Shan and to all. Thankful for America, Americans, service people and the great LORD!!
Praise the Lord and pass anything Kent’s cooking!
Word! I hope Sir Kent's recipes become his legacy...
There is no god.
Loving you from Great Britain my friend, also love seeing you bless your armed and other services, as an ex, I worked with and appreciated the company and friendship of your fellow Americans, respect indeed not just to the fallen but to those who follow, Amen. 🙏🙏🙏 Great stuff Kent 👍👍☕☕
Thank YOU for always doing the prayer for Those That Serve. I practice buddhism, but I always pray at the same with you at the end. In fact it’s one of my favorite parts of your videos. 🖖
Our family has a traditional cranberry salad that is similar. We don’t use marshmallows but we do add in a chopped apple, chopped grapes, and chopped mandarin oranges
Ido cranberry sauce with mint, chopped apples (green Granny Smith), cranberry juice, actual cranberries, and cinnamon. The excess liquid makes for a great fall punch.
That sound good 👍
We do something similar also. But no marshmallows, and add pecan pieces.
Yummy
My grandma did the mix that way, just about everything in that, but mixed it with cherry jello & mandarin oranges. But it wasn't a Jell-O mold, the jello was all mixed in too. So it was like a fruity chutney.
Oh my Heavenly Stars, you & Shannon are certainly amazing. Thanks for sharing. May The Creator of Grace continue to bless you forever more.
A Salted Caramel Apple Pie???
Oh, mercy me, that sounds fantastic
I'm ready for that one!:)

Thank you Kent, Shan, Andy and the pups for being here every Wednesday.
Thank you, so much. I love the recipes, but what I really look forward to is the positivity, love, and heartfelt words that you share with us. Happy Thanksgiving, Kent & Shannon, from our house to yours. God Bless you both.
Hi from Syracuse NY brother and thank you for sharing your thoughts and adventures in cooking and your family
What a terrific vista behind you today. Amazing to think there are people who live their entire lives and never see that much grass uninterrupted in one place.
Happy Thanksgiving and Merry upcoming Christmas 🎄!
Being from Maine and an old French Family, I really like this. Going to try these 3 dishes. Hope the Family likes it as much as I will. Good job Sir.
Each time I watch one of Kent’s videos,
it cheers me right on up, it does!
You are the best! This is my favorite channel to watch. I live in Kansas and my mama runs a little Cafe here. I need to get that recipe book because we all could learn a little something from it.. Also, it was my pleasure to be able to proudly serve in the United States Air Force 🇺🇲
Where do you live? It's so flat there, you can see for miles. There's trees and mountains where I live in Washington. I really enjoy watching your cooking. Makes me hungry everytime I start watching you!🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲
Thank you for posting this!! Thanksgiving is all about the sides for me!!!
To Kent and Shan, wishing you all and the pups a very Happy Thanksgiving. Similar to all viewers here and there.
Everything tastes better cooking over a open fire
No , every thing tastes better when someone is cooking that actually knows how . LOL . AND KENT KNOWS HOW .
Mr. Kent, you and I think alike, as youngster growing up I only eat enough green beans so my mom wouldn’t ask any questions. Now I still eat them green beans, but they DON’T come out of a can. God’s blessings to you and your family.
I am thankful that I have both Rollin's cookbooks! I refer to them often. My favorite recipe I cannot chose as they are all very good. There are appetizers, soups, salads and more. There is beef, pork, shrimp and chicken, now don't shut that door! Because there is a whole lot more. There are breads and biscuits with graves devine. There are sauce and toppings enough to boggle the mind. And if that isn't enough there are deserts of the finest kind. The Rollins family are a blessing of mine, for they shared their best coffee that will blow your mind!
Thank you Rollins family you are very kind. We look forward to every Wednesday. The blessing and thanking our soldiers is wonderfully kind.
When I have the desire to make something new, and I see that you have made it , there’s a video for it, I’m very comforted and excited. I love your videos. They are clear, straightforward, informative, entertaining, and easy to follow. I made green bean casserole and cranberry dish for our Christmas dinner and my family absolutely loved them. I appreciate how you use fresh ingredients, not a lot of processed, or premade stuff. Watching you has definitely expanded and elevated my home cooking and for that I am truly appreciative and thankful. I pray God continues to bless you and your cooking instruction and ministry.
I have made the cranberry salad for years, I use a old fashioned meat grinder. It makes the texture creamer. I have used a blender and food processor before. My family doesn't like it at all . They won't eat it at all unless I have used the grinder. Try it you may like it better than a chopper..😊😊😊
I share all your videos as best I can to all my friends. Not everyone is a foodie/cook. But I try to spread the love.🌞❣️
THANK YOU!!! I absolutely APPRECIATE the Scalloped Tater recipe!!!
I think I'm just going to make these amazing sides this year and skip the turkey. Save time and enjoy these flavours instead.
Thank you Cowboy Kent and Shannon.
I enjoy watching you and the whole brood, Mr. Rollins! Thanks always when you respect veterans at the end. I love cast iron! ( unfortunately I live in an apartment and firing up cauldrons and grills are a no-no..understandably, but my 10 inch Lodge gets me where I need to be! ) God Bless you sir, the Missus and all the pups! Sincerely, Amanda in Indiana.🇺🇲 p.s...that's my kinda green bean casserole!!! Happy Veteran's Day.
Looks and now I'm hungry again. Never had the green bean casserole as a kid, just plain green beans. Never heard of the cranberry dish but it sounds good too! 😋👍✨
It is probably my favorite

I would love to see you on Food Network again kickin butts and taking names lol.
Love y'all. I had to teach myself how to cook. My Dad passed when I was young. My Mom was to depressed to care. We never knew how we would have Thanksgiving, or any holiday meal, sice Donny's was closed. I really had a lot of years of trail and error.
Looking back, I wish we would've had cooking channels. But haha. I had a brick phone back then.
I've come a long ways. I pray my babies have better memories than I had, and I pray they make better than I did.
My Mom did her best. Being left with 4 children unexpectedly, I could never imagine.
Life's never been easy. But I don't think it's supposed to be ...
Would love to go out on the wagon to be first hand... But happy to be here making memories with my own
We discovered 'Kentucky Legend' sliced hams about five years ago. The butcher shop at our IGA used to only carry it at holiday season, but we convinced them to stock it all year long. They now use it in their 'deli' sandwiches. I use it in all kinds of casseroles.
scalloped potatoes with ham and French onion dip. 😍😍😍
Every time kent posts uts a happier day
Great ideas thank you! Hosting 20 people this year, can't wait! Happy Thanksgiving my friend, God Bless you and the family as you gather this year. Yum!
Kent a "peecan" is an indoor connivence a "pa-con" it the fruit of a pecan tree. That is how we pronounce the name in lower Alabama.
I love y'all and enjoy the lessons you and Shannon present. You are fortunate to have a supporting wife. May God Bless you both.
You are more important than you can even imagine. I have Gian Bareilles Syndrome and you make me smile all the time.
Greetings from Poland! All the best to you Mr. Rollins to your lovely wife and your family! God bless you!
My wife made those potatoes lastnight for dinner. By far the best recipe for scallop potatoes I have ever had.
Looks yummy. I’m grill’n. Try French’s French onion mix and sour cream. Same thing. But I think better.
Thank you for all your recipes. Cheers from Geneva Florida. Wishing you and yours a Happy Turkey Day! 🦃✨✌️ 😋✨🌴
Happy Thanksgiving Rollins family much respect from Canada 🇨🇦
happy Thanksgiving for rollins family!
Kent and Shan, I was born on Thanksgiving Day in 1946. Every few years my birthday (28th) falls on the day so it's more special to me. Thank you son and daughter. You guys are great. I've never had cool cranberry salad. It was the jelly cranberry sauce at home. In my older age I've come to appreciate cranberries for what they are. Again, thank you both! Papa Bob in MO.
Who needs a turkey! Those three sides will be my meal. Thanks Cookie. Happy Trails Amigo!
My goodness the beautiful sides would surely make me forget about eating any turkey, they looked to be so good. Thank you, take care and God bless you and Shannon.
I love the music for this video. Thanks for sharing.
Evidently the Maj is not a turkey dog. Lol. Thank you for sharing this most yummy looking sides. Thanksgiving dinner is not complete with out green bean casserole. You, Shan, and the pups have a blessed week. Stay safe and stay well, God bless.
Thanks for watching Penny and God bless you
My only disappoint in these videos is they have to end. I could watch these for hours.
Always love what he makes. Can't wait to try for myself.
Love your dance at the end each recipe. Always chuckle with those crazy moves.
Always wanted a mandolin but you just reminded me why I don’t need one. Blessings!
Love the Dance 🕺 I have the kids on the floor we make small things with arts and crafts when they show me their art.
I call it "Doing the Kent"
I yell "Whoooo Weeee" then the dance lately they do the dance right along with me.. Love ya Kent!!!! 😘
Mr. and Mrs. Rollins, thank you so very much for inviting us in and sharing your love of cooking, people and fur babies. All of you are greatly appreciated and loved.
Kent That is some feat of engineering for cooking a double Decker cast Iron Dutch oven!! Only you Kent would come up with that concept.
Milton here, saving this one Mr Kent. Cook at home from scratch we do, Green Bean Casserole and a glass of tea, yes Sir.
Damn it is 10sec of a new video and I'm already hungry 😄 Happy Thanks Giving 🇺🇸 and greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
Gotta try them scalloped potatoes. I swear I can smell it through the screen!!
Good eating they are
Wish I were eating Thanksgiving with you two this year! Oh well, I do my own bacon cover Turkey breast and trimmings. Have a great Thanksgiving! Love you outback dish washers! My husky has been known to clean the plate!
This is only my third video on this channel. What a unique character this guy is! The way he talks is like a Southern Sling blade lol. And that guy was actually a simple dude. Liking biscuits and mustard and potted meat.
Thanks, from the UK, Cowboy Kent, really good show!
