I love how all the flavour text is a scientist losing his shit over how scary this weapon is while also exasperating over how the bosses don’t think it LOOKS scary enough
On one hand, Visual are a bunch of materialistic morons who don't appreciate the absolutely groundbreaking technology Exotic Materials created, but on the other hand I want to thank Visual because without their intervention the White Witch would probably be way more terrifying than it already is. Like, imagine this thing doing its shit but you can't see anything - no fancy ferrofluid stuff, just matter around it spontaneously eaten away by an invisible force while its armour grows around it like some freakish living carapace.
AKA "Behold! The awesome fires of God. The limitless power of pure creation itself. Observe how it is used for the same purpose a man might use an especially sharp rock": The mech.
My table's Gorgon runs Camus and Sisyphus, now. Just for those few encounters where it can force the GM to attack it, and then force the attacker to be stunned. It's an experience.
To quote one of my players, the White Witch is a mech that has exactly as much control over what a NPC is allowed to shoot as the GM. As a GM, I admit to having a slight grudge against the White Witch. While its kit is *really* potent, its low heatcap means its got a big glaring flaw that you can target trivially easily in order to cripple its entire base kit. It makes it a nightmare of game design.
It really is frustrating to consider. It is by turns so powerful it warps the entire game around it, and so easily crushed it might as well not exist. But it depends on the GM's decision making. If you ignore it, everyone else is frustrated, if you exploit it's weakness, the player running a White Witch is frustrated.
White Witch is easily one of the scariest mechs in the game. Its core sucks in all matter to better protect itself, *all* matter. Imagine a giant mech that look like Evangelion got into its emo phase sucking up your buddy like a tootsie pop so it can have bigger spikes.
All the rivalry with the Drake and the Terminator clips through the video are really funny, as White Witch serves a very similar role but with fancier and futuristic effects.
Kai Tave confirmed on PilotNET that the Camus Razor reaction DOES apply for the rest of the scene after priming the system, RAW, but that it was possibly unintentional for it to do so. As it stands until the ticket is resolved, you prime it once and it just keeps going (as of May 6th). Go forth and intervene!
Back when my friends and I still played Lancer I mained SSC-BW but when WW came out I combined them in such a fun way using the drone to help protect the low heat cap and basically forcing enemies into duelling me it was so good I miss them
Pinning Spire is also insanely good for Vlad builds as well due to the Shrike Armor also causing the opponent to take damage when they try to free themselves whether they hit you or not.
5:28 Since Pinning Spire can target allies, do no damage to them, and make them immobilized but can't be forcefully moved, this would actually be pretty useful for allies that don't want to move like Barbarosa or Autocooler or an ally you want to keep giving the benefits of Guardian too or whatever.
"Pay attention to me Im annoying" "You paid attention to me? I am now stronk, die." "You didnt pay attention to me? You still pay attention to me, DIE."
White Witch is a blast to run, with some hacking countermeasures in friendlies you become a frighteningly quick fortress pinning down HVTs and flinging enemies around
The bit about staying away from allies when using Hyperactive mode (besides the armour resetting explosion) isn't absolutely true - the burst damage is also a tool to increase Armour quickly using Fluid Burst.
Got to use a Whitewitch in my first game. Forgot about the core ability doing damage in a radius around you and ended up standing next to an ally. He took a structure damage, but I ended up knocking down two elites with the explosion. I ended up only taking 1 hull damage that entire fight.
I'd like to note that most Combat Drill builds involve ferrofluid lance. because the best way to murder something by drill is to make sure your prey can't move.
Hey 11dragonkid, can you post a tutorial on how to configure roll20 to play lancer or link one, i really want to play with some friends but I couldn't find a way to do it, love the vids btw keep it up c:
I have been using a configured setting for Roll20 to play Lancer when I was making the Running Mech series with Interpoint Station stuff, it's very useful!
@@11dragonkid11 Hey just wanted to tell you, that was a godsend, I got many resources and configuration tips, I am making a small homebrew campaign for my friends, where before I was contemplating if I really should DM lancer now I am really confident and it's all thanks to your tips and videos, thank you

Ah, Smith Shimano Corpro, my beloved
AKA "Behold! The awesome fires of God. The limitless power of pure creation itself. Observe how it is used for the same purpose a man might use an especially sharp rock": The mech.
I think I'll name a mech, "An Especially Sharp Rock," now.
Is this a reference? I wanna know
Tom’s other project, “kill 6 billion demons”
IDK if he got that quote from elsewhere, though
Combine with Gorgon and Tortuga to become the embodiment of the phrase, "no u".
My table's Gorgon runs Camus and Sisyphus, now. Just for those few encounters where it can force the GM to attack it, and then force the attacker to be stunned.
It's an experience.
Combine with Saladin to become the embodiment of the phrase, "no."

And can't you pretty much just nullified 90% of its survivability by just throwing something with AP against it?
As an average Gorgon enjoyer, I welcome another mech into the "Go ahead. Just try and hurt me." pantheon.
Same as a Balor Main
The Gorgon, Balor, Vlad and White Witch gang.
If you have all of them in one party, your dm will cry.
Camus's razor on gorgon is straight up not fair
Every Balrog player seems to be a girl.. til the nanomachines are undone 😢 (🍆)

Ah, I see you've read my erotic Gurren Lagann fan fiction.
@@FlatPlutoSociety I am afraid to give this a like but feel as though I have no other choice
It’s between this and the Lich for me. It just CANT FUCKING DIE!
9:13 "I have resisted all urges to make jokes on the masochistic tendencies-"
Your restraint is commendable, my hat off to you.
If you invest the core upgrades, you can pull off an utterly disgusting Ferrofluid Lance, combat drill combo
I was just thinking how a Vlad would probably want to invest at least 1 license point into White Witch to really make their Combat Drill go NUTS.
"Don't hug it too much."
Shows a Snom.
I'm getting mixed signals here.

"No need to balance if all Mechs are broken AF" - - Lancer creators, probably
Also, thank you for not having a Lancer Custom Werks for Vlad before this and Pankrati became available.
Back when my friends and I still played Lancer I mained SSC-BW but when WW came out I combined them in such a fun way using the drone to help protect the low heat cap and basically forcing enemies into duelling me it was so good I miss them
Immobilization with no save.....I can think of a certain impaling mech that would love to get some of that action.
Pinning Spire is also insanely good for Vlad builds as well due to the Shrike Armor also causing the opponent to take damage when they try to free themselves whether they hit you or not.
The Wheel of Fate is Turning
Round One
ACTION!

Also (unlike the Lance) doesn't need the target to fail a Hull save first, which is a big deal with some enemies.
HURT ME MORE SNAKE
On today’s episode of “I can’t believe it’s not Horus!”
"I'm not stuck here you're stuck with me" the mech
"Pay attention to me Im annoying"
"You paid attention to me? I am now stronk, die."
"You didnt pay attention to me? You still pay attention to me, DIE."
I don't believe your allies can trigger Ferroreactive Armor to increase since it states 'yourself or hostile sources'.
Oh, well.
Then again getting shot by your allies IS pretty hostile of them
It's tough, tho that heat cap is quite concerning. some NPCs can hack white witch to a quick death.
Yes but a smart player can easily work around and cover up that weakness inspecially with the power of team work on your side
I lost it at the white witch sneezing ferrofluid on the mourning cloak
YOOOOO, new lancer content?! I'm so hype
White Witch is a blast to run, with some hacking countermeasures in friendlies you become a frighteningly quick fortress pinning down HVTs and flinging enemies around
Yes! Finally! My favorite mech! Thank you!
What's your strategy on overcoming heat?
Wow, I completely missed that its speed is 6. That's bonkers
Never a bad day when I come home from work to a new Trashtalk
Awwww fuckin yeah. *grabs popcorn*
_LANCASTERS ABSOLUTELY _*_HATE_*_ THIS ONE SIMPLE MECH!_
LOVED this, very excited to run White Witch and eventually toy with their systems on other mechs
It's been a while since I watched one of your vids. Gotta say I think I'm getting excited about lancer again. Glad to see you still make great vids!
I'm going to find a way to make a build that turns white witch into a pseudo-Katamari
Now I can play scourge regalia in Lancer.
Great coverage again! These mechs are all very interesting in function.
Here we go!
The bit about staying away from allies when using Hyperactive mode (besides the armour resetting explosion) isn't absolutely true - the burst damage is also a tool to increase Armour quickly using Fluid Burst.
Oh boy, that's mega brain strategy
Stand right next to your Vlad friend (edit: aww it can't be allies)
Fantastic dkid content for lancer as always
white witch, white which!
I should have played this in our last campaign with my friend's Blackbeard and just let her go ham.
YOOOOOOOO I've been waiting for this

Those first licences sound really useful for a Balor. 🤔
But does it have a giant drill? I think not!
I'd like to note that most Combat Drill builds involve ferrofluid lance. because the best way to murder something by drill is to make sure your prey can't move.
It could, pairing the combat drill with ferrofluid lance or pinning spire seems like a great strategy.
Aw, they altered Sympathetic Shield
Burn damage

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT SOUND YOU USED FOR THE INTRO
How can i find those mechs like Kobol, empero, white witch etc?
Kobold comes from the Long Rim supplement while Emperor & White Witch comes from Field Guide to KTB
I'm confused do you need the core power to get the armor from being hit?
No
It's a passive effect overwritten when you activate the active core effect
Day 2 of asking for a Saladin Custom Werks video.
O:
Thanks for the attempted description but, I couldnt understand the awful TTS voice. A ton of what was said was lost.
