Searching for footage, I was lucky enough to be there and felt like reminiscing. Lost my glasses that night. came home and my parents were pissed but it was worth it. First time I had heard Nirvana, buddy had gotten tickets just because we got tickets to everything those days. Junior year of high school, to young to go to bars so we hit up shows.
@@awightviewuhs6103 I meant live performances with crowds and stuff, but yeah i think Live At BBC counts. That scream at The Paramount was Dave i guess.
This was the exact night that Courtney and Kurt consummated their relationship, dated exclusively then married a few months later in Feb '92, then Frances being born in August '92 Source: Danny Goldberg, senior V.P. at Polygram and Nirvana’s (and Hole’s) manager in Vanity Fair 'Strange Love' circa Sept '92. author: Lynn Hirschberg (the lady Kurt was furious at after her article caused CPS to take Frances away from them just 2 weeks old, but thankfully they had tested clean the entire time & got her back within a few months - but still....i had a real issue with this at the time and despised Hirschberg ever since...
"they had tested clean the entire time" .. yeah right mate so they weren't completely drugfucked on heroin? That must have been some other world famous junkie rock star couple whose names escape me :/ you're obviously not a real doctor, but you keep on believing what you want to believe.
Tell ya, of all the diff shows I’ve seen/heard of theirs from beginning to end, I have to say that you’ll find ‘just about’ all of their very best ‘Drain You’ performances mostly around this time/era... mid summer thruout late fall/winter days of 1991. Not saying ALL of their best sounding performances but would say the largest portion of em.... that is Drain You performances, would be found thruout this time. And not all are ones that are awesome sounding thruout entire song either. Noticed ones like myself who love certain ones that just have themselves maybe a cool ass moment within the song here/there.
Thanks for whoever "liked" my comment. it really is an excellent remastering of this show compared to what was out there before. if you are the one who did it, i'd love to talk to you. lol
I have a bootleg of this entire concert from the late 90’s, and this sounds very close to the bootleg. I’m guessing the source is a soundboard recording from the show, which had the drums and vocals very high in the mix. I do love the clarity of the drums, but wish that the guitar & bass were more audible.

Have heard this bootleg, I was there. I think this is the PA mix. Guitars and bass may have not needed much “reinforcement.” Speculation, but can attest to the incredible volume coming off the stage. Think Boeing 747.

Best performance on Drain You i have heard. Love the way he starts the music! Best band ever!!
honestly i think live at the paramount has the best performance
without legendary scream but still it blewed my mind :) thanx for every single upload man!
he didn't scream at drain you live performances until 1993
edit: neeevermind he screamed at 1992 too
@@briantcideu8619 technically be did scream in 1991, live at the bbc and a faint one at the paramount

@@briantcideu8619 kurt cobain didn't screamed in paramount, was dave grohl, because kurt was far from the mic to scream and hear it clearly

favorite nirvana track by far. great job on the remaster, it sounds great
heard this one time but never figured out the name of the performance to find it again. Thx!
You're welcome my friend! :)
