Hey Seth, it would be great to see an up to date version of this now you have expanded the collection. Plus would be an easy and interesting video, even for Berm Peak Express
1997 Cannondale F500 (That replaced my stolen Specialized Hard Rock when I was 16) 2006 Cannondale Rush 600 2000ish Freedom Ryder Handcycle (Its actually really fun to ride and is a great upper body workout) Electra Townie Cruiser Cannondale Hybrid my wife added to the mix 2018 Trek Farley I bought for the wife. Clear Gecko for Chuckles #3 Gary Fisher 20" MTB for Chuckles #1 And another Gary Fisher 20" for Chuckles #2 Chuckles #4 gets to claim the Weehoo trailer for now.
I tried to ride brakeless once, someone walked out in front of me without looking(I was going down hill fast) and I fell off instead of hitting them instead of going to the park with my friends I went home to out my brake back on.
I have owned many bikes but my current bikes are a gazelle (dutch bike companie) populair a really cool city bike with mechanic brakes, a giant atx 870 whit custom upgrades and I recently bought a scott voltage fr30 downhill freeride bike in a country that is as flat as a package but IL be having fun on stairs with that bike. Also I skate so I have a skate board but more of a tricks board.
Hahaha, I've never seen the swing bike! I'm definitely going to Florida now so I can get my ass on that freak show! This video was absolutely epic. Amazing music, great editing. You are DIALED IN, dude.
After being a subscriber of yours since 1 year heres whats happened with my life - I really got in to mountain biking. So much that I fix bikes for living and ride every hour possible, no matter the weather. - I assembled the same Trek 4900 as you, same setup (haha), but its a 2012 model. Ive never had a stiffer, beefier bike. - I assembled a Nukeproof Mega TR 275 a month ago and yes its a dope ass bike... The conclusion ? Nothing beats the Trek. Nothing. The way that this bike feels is like nothing else in this world. I would love to see you riding your Trek in a new video doing some crazy 180s around town and bombing some hills with it.
+Stilian Ivanov I'd need to agree with you that the Trek feels amazing. Every time I ride it, I see why it was my main bike for so long. I think the most similar bike they sell now is the Marlin, but with those small wheels the 4 series is just so nimble. Long live the 4 series, and I really should take another ride on it.
my main bicycle is a avigo revolution, yeah i know you've probably never heard of it, the one i own is the only one ive ever seen , so you can tell its not the greatest of bikes. the model i own is a 2013. dont laugh but i got this bike at toys r us, lmao. Believe it or not this is acually a really nice bike. it rides really smooth and suprisingly ( spelled wrong ) works perfectly on mtb trails. on the website for this bike it says its a boys mountain bike, but the way i see it its a mtb, road bike, cruiser hybrid. like a said its considered a kids bike but its no that small. its a 24 inch and fits me perfect. ive bought this bike with my own money when i was 8, it costed men a total of 120$ witch is a really good price for how nice of a bike it is. ive had this bike for 5 years now and its still good as new. recently ive gotten a bunch of upgrades for it. like leds for the wheels, a new seat. a bag, a water bottle and a holder , and a flash light that hooks on it. my friend and i take our bikes to state parks and ride the heck out of them. i have about 1,000$ right now and my friends tell me i need to get a diamond back . but the truth is this toys r us bike is the bike that was made for me and i dont want a new one. if you read this thank you for your time
if you're really happy with that bike, you should try getting a better 100mm travel fork in the front even a better coil one would make it lighter and smoother on the trails along with a pair of lighter rim wheels with disc breaks, those would make it feel accelerate much faster, and hydraulic breaks once you try them you can never go back . 26 inch forks work with 24 inch wheels no problem. but the thing is all this stuff would cost you about 3 times as much as the bike costed you, but try looking for stuff on sale if you decide to do anything.
Seth, I absolutely love your taste in music and Id be so happy to know where you get your music from! I love your videos, I live in Largo west of Tampa, where there aren't any trails at all but I still have a lot of fun on my bike. You're awesome!
A few things stashed away here, bmx bike (cult/odyssey mix), mtb (giant trance, and a new one on the way), single speed (masi), fatbike (surly pugsley).....unicycle, scooter,skateboard,longboard... haha A fair amount, but hey, N+1!
Lol likewise here. NS Capital rigid 26 Dartmoor Cody w/dj1 dirt jumper Upgraded WTP Crysis bmx (replacement frame, fork, and bars are on the way) GT Avalanche xc bike And 4 - 5 skateboards Cant ever have enough rides.
hey Seth i know i'm very late but if you change the bearings on that skateboard/longboard for bones reds bearings for very cheap you will like it so much more and you will roll so far and fast. Trust me, make the change. It is cheap and great. Great vid btw.
Atm I only have my cube analog 29'' hardtail. Tho I should be able to get me a bmx next month (looking at the haro midway). And gonna get me a nice road bike before next summer. After that I guess we'll see XD
yeah I prefer to buy bikes from a local shop as well. Tho my cube came from a shop I no longer support. Too bad I can't seem to find a local BMX shop who has what I'm looking for so I might just have to get that one online.
boomerangfreak I only have a 150$ hardtail, I have to fix it every two weeks because it breaks everytime and I'm starting to think that it's really unreliable
Yo Seth! F*ckin' inspirational channel man, and gotta say love the rides. Speaking of inspiration though, your intuitiveness to do your own bike maintenance and style of riding have definitely influenced my own in the creation of my ride. Unfortunately my carbon Altitude 70 may be out of commission, (damn shame, cracked frame) I've built up the old hardtail I have into this monstrosity: ep1.pinkbike.org/p5pb14151931/p5pb14151931.jpg An arguably epic classic, the privateer is arguably an epic classic, the affordable version of Keith Bontrager's Race and Race lite series. Unfortunately, I have absolutely mangled the original purpose of this bike with some appreciated modern "upgrades" - An 04' 120 mm Fox Talas Fork redefining the older geometry - A bombproof winterized 1x8 setup with an Old Raceface Forged DH Crank-set and an XTR rear Derailleur - A Modern Raceface cockpit with a 50 mm stem and brand-new Chester stem - Sweet Fizik seat and DMR vaults off my main ride Just as an inspiration to those looking to piece together a decent bike out of nothing, this is what I got. Original bike - 100$ (Damn lucky here, but hey what are friends for?) Cranks - 15$ (LBS to the rescue) Bars - 15$ (Pinkbike special) Fork, Wheel, and Front brake - 75$ (Parts bikes are beautiful aren't they?) Grips, Seat, Pedals, Stem - ???$ (unfortunately these are off my main AM ride, while its out of commision) All in all, not exactly a budget build, but its what I had. Ended up spending about 250$ in parts to modernize the geometry, but hell this thing really rocks with what its got!
2009 Specialized P! All Mountain- love this thing! All original components still. Bout new in 2009 2005 P! Dirt Jumper, Orange. This is my beater, jumper bike. Lil maintenance ever works awesome (purhcased from a local kid for 500 bucks in 2010) 2009 KHS Velvet- My full on MTN bike. Bought in 2013, brand new. All original. works amazing, been to Killington and Highlands numerous times and never had any problems! Love all my bikes. Wish I had more time to spend on them.
Hey there Seth! I'm a great fan of yours, and I really enjoyed the Squad video and I want to tell you that I'm 13 years old and I own 2 bikes: a B'TWIN Rockrider 5 series junior and a B'TWIN Rockrider 520, I've grown out of my 5 series but however I use my Rockrider 520 a lot. My 520 is a hardtail with 27.5 mm wheels, it has a SRAM derrailer and it's aluminium frame, it is a size M since i'm quite tall for my age. Anyway I subscribed both from my phone and laptot to your awesome videos!!! I hope you enjoyed my description of my bikes and hope you look them up on the Internet, see you!!!!
Depends on the distance of the commute I'd say as a MTB would be more comfortable for longer rides. Tho I don't yet have a BMX I hope to get one soon and try it on my >3 km commute to work. My hardtail has never let me down tho (lots of fun)
MTB's going to be more expensive though. For a decent Hard tail you're looking at $700 - $1,500. For full suspension you're looking at $2,000 - $8,000 Granted, Im sure for just riding to and from school, you can pull something off for under $400
I’ve got a notch fluid ht 24, my sister has a specialized rockhopper 26,my dad has a giant trance x 29, a cervelo r3, a giant revolt, ant a spot commuter, and my mom has a opus something city bike. Oh, my dad also has a cruiser, Reply saying ur bikes

What do I have laying around??? An old GT that is hardly working and has REALLY UNTRUE wheels but it’s doing for now and I guess I’ll see if I ever get a new one
You are so lucky to have so many high quality bikes. I have giant entry level bike form 2013. IT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE DISC BRAKE and the suspension it stuffed. When I go down hill my brakes do like nothing to stop me.

Since i started watching you ive had 2 bikes stolen and now have no money, i get some satisfaction watching you shred on your bikes. Huge fan Seth, keep up the good work :)
I recommend getting a COVE DH G-spot/Peeler/Shocker or a Devinci hardtail like the Jack best BIKES across the board their are some Banchees too that are nice and you should try some trails in Vancouver really exceptional riding including whistler !!!!!

I got a question which kind of bike is best for school BMX or MTB?
Depends on the distance of the commute I'd say as a MTB would be more comfortable for longer rides.
Tho I don't yet have a BMX I hope to get one soon and try it on my >3 km commute to work. My hardtail has never let me down tho (lots of fun)
thanks for your positive opinion and I also think a MTB would be better too
If u like doing tricks along the way to school id suggest a bmx but if it's a long ride and don't do any tricks use a mountain bike
MTB's going to be more expensive though. For a decent Hard tail you're looking at $700 - $1,500. For full suspension you're looking at $2,000 - $8,000
Granted, Im sure for just riding to and from school, you can pull something off for under $400
I Like Pie I don't know who to do any tricks but thanks for your opinion
