Actually, I can see where it doesn’t work for everyone. My mom is an example because her front door is a storm door with a glass pane. The frame isn’t wide enough for a smart lock doorbell, so we’re installing a separate doorbell. Thanks for watching!
Just installed this, this morning. Forgot to charge the battery so in the process of that now. I can't wait to get this thing rocking and rolling! Great video, well done!
So cool! Once you get past the getting familiar phase of the notifications and getting the range set, you’ll need to charge again. I’m on month 2 of the last charge and still close to full battery power. Thanks for watching!
@@TechTravelBeyond We bought a backup battery to make life easier when needing to switch out. This product looks like one of a kind, especially at that price point. We got in on the kick start so hopefully the firmware download isn't too crazy haha. Thanks again for the terrific video!
Is the battery charged when the left LED is blue? I'm not getting any sound when I insert it into the lock and press and hold the sync button for 3-5 seconds. The chime/wireless bridge it came with setup fine.
You don’t have to resync when you charge the battery. You already paired the unit to the bridge when you originally followed the directions for set up, and all features like sound etc should have been working when you originally set the unit up. I take the battery out only every few months to charge, and I do it in the morning, and put it back in at night. Last time, it was good for 4 months since it only alerts when someone comes to the door, usually when I get a delivery. I don’t check it and micromanage/monitor it because it’s been pretty much set it and forget it.
Thanks for taking the time to respond. I probably should’ve mentioned that I was doing the initial setup. Turns out the person who installed it did not have the internal wiring correct. For anyone who is wondering, blue light does mean a full charge on the battery.
It's amazing that this thing has a doorbell integrated within it. I'm surprised they did that since it might decrease sales of the actual doorbells.

It fit europa door ??? Only in Usa
Don't know about doors in Europe. Go to Eufy.com to check specs in the documentation.
Great review.
Thanks, Mark & Valerie!
Does this have 2-way talk?
Yes it does, via the Eufy app!

Porch pirate incident lol 😂
Yup! Thankfully they caught the guy who was pretending to walk his dog while stealing packages in our neighborhood!
