Nice video. Though, Åre is pronounced more like "Ore". The Å is special, but more like O then A. :) Also, kayaking might be hard when the lake is frozen :D There is however dog-sledghing, ATV rides, snowmobiling and even ice-racing with rally cars.
"Skiing in Sweden" showing pictures from Rocky Mountains [in the beginning]..... Branäs, Vemdalen, Sälen are kids areas. There is only one place worth mentioning; Åre. Big advantage from sometimes in the alps; snow. End november -may.
Im from Sweden and I have been skiing in Kläppen Ski Resort. Its a really nice Ski Resort, but due to the pandemic, no progress has been made since 2016, just like waiting for Geometry Dash 2.2, which dropped out this year.
Hey guys i don't want to seem that dumb, but is their anywhere to snowboard/ski early June, I plan on going backpacking in sweden this summer and I'd love to go snowboarding somewhere up north, any other suggestions where to go in sweden would be great too!
@@mountain_sight it's the placement especially people living in Sweden. Like from Stockholm its only 3 hours away so you can take a day trip there from a bit part of Sweden. It's not the biggest but it got decent fall hight and 40 slopes. So unless you're really hardcore skier it more than does the job
I really liked that you didnt include Swedens 5 best skiresorts so that we get to keep them for our selves.
Do you dare to post them here? xD
@@mountain_sight åre, vemdalen, funäsfjällen, lofsdalen and tärnaby hemavan
@@gustavjacobsson919 You forgot Kungsberget

How Idre Fjäll is not in this video is beyond me. By far better than Sälen and the others. Next to Åre, the best in my opinion…
My Top5: 5. Lofsdalen 4. Sälen 3. Idre Fjäll 2. Hemavan-Tärnaby 1. Åre
Exakt
Such a great video for such people looking for destination in sweden . You seemed to have an ok knowledge aswell. Thumbs up 👍
Thank you, appreciate it!
My Top5: 5. Lofsdalen 4. Sälen 3. Idre Fjäll 2. Hemavan-Tärnaby 1. Åre
Even tho idre isnt on the list it has a 46 degree slop called chocken

Sälen has one Black slope that is 45° steep (Gradient 100%) called "väggen" (the wall)
That's next level difficult! Have you tried it?
You can see how we build it on my channel 👍
@@pushnpow Amazing content! Just subscribed
Chocken run @ Idre Fjäll has 46 degrees 😉🎿❄️🤙
You have forgotten Kläppen ski resort. Great place.
He literally mentioned Kläppen in the vid.
Åre starts with a “oh” sound like in “more”
Can we get any of these resortss by or train or bus from Stockholm?
To Åre with train
What?! These photos are from Schweitzer mountain in Idaho!

Branas isn’t really snowboard friendly as it’s mostly drag/ tbar lifts
Thank you for your input!
The zooming in and out is making me dizzy.

Getting dizzy from this stupid zooming.
But the wheater in Åre is bad

Sorry, it didn’t make the the cut this time but could easily be a contender. I would love to hear why you like Romme Alpin though?
