I went skiing today and came back to this video and today alone I literally did some variation of everything in this video they are a lot of fun to mess around with
I am pretty much an advanced beginner, really hesitating of jumping and doing tricks.. But i just wanna do and master them so bad.. Hope i will give it a shot next time and that I will conquer my fear. A tutorial on how to ski a bumpy pist would be highly appreciated. Everytime it gets more bumpy i am losing all control, just flying over the bumps without any chance of steering and just trying not to fall lol
Your not wrong, I've been in the top groups on trips for quite a few years now, and it's sad that I have crashed every time i've tried any of these, however currently out in Andorra so will be attempting some more tomorrow!
@@StompItTutorials What kind of skis were you two using in this video? Also what should I be looking for if I want to do minor freestyle stuff like skiing switch and some of the tricks shown today, but not living in the terrain park. It would be my first owned pair.

Question about the first trick: How do you manage to sit down on the skis without having your knees explode? The boots pull my leg forward and it is extremely painful on a flat slope. I wouldn't dare to try it with inclination, I feel if the skis were to move sideways a little bit I'd put my knee at a very high risk.
Sounds like you should build some strength and mobility for months first. Ignore the trick. Most people they dont seem to feel pain or have a problem with it.
Skiing is a high leg injury sport. When tricking, some people will increase their DIN past what is safe for them so they can put more weight through the boot without dismounting. This increases risk of injury. Only ski at your own risk, and double goes for tricking. Have fun skiing before you trick, because any trick could be your last time skiing.
man one of these camps looks like major fun, but it feels almost like whoever is planning them is deliberately avoiding swiss school holidays. i can understand not wanting kids in the camp but kids aren't the only people who have to plan around the swiss school holidays
I am the one who is planning them. Thank you for noticing, I try to avoid the busiest weeks of the winter to give the guests the best time possible. As we grow and can't do camps only during "Low-Season" we will soon have to do camps in February, too :) /Jens
I might actually hurt my ACL a bit today, tried a few shifties and the last 2-3 tries i got a light but lasting pain at the outer ACL areas on both legs. is there any technique to avoid that?

Quick tip. Ski really bumpy terrain very slowly with out losing control. Slowly increase the speed over days as you get more comfortable with it.
roger is the best!
The fact that these are beginner level is depressing 😂
Well you just need to be able to ski to do them. I´ve helped many learn this tricks before. You might need a few tries but you can do it! :)

Quick update, been smashing daffy butters all day so sick, thank you again 👊👊
It doesn't say beginner level...
Had my fisrt run with the bent 100’s today, fantastic skis
Great to hear it. Did you stomp any tricks on them too?

Hello from Spain 👋 🌊
Great and engaging, much to learn from this video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
My opinion is that tripod butter is much easier with little bit more speed, but this is just my opinion. Great work🙏🏽
Tack!
wow thank you :D
I want the bents chetlers so bad. Perfect amount of flex lightweight and they look great🔥

Hi! Love every single videos that you make. So, enjoyable to watch and learn. So, I wanted to know where do you set the binding on your skis?

Thank you for the video! It's fun to watch.
im gonna watch this when im going skiing with my friends. i want to flex on them😁
Really like the tutorials. Quick sidestep, what`s the brand of your student,s jacket ? Also elevenate ?
Yes its an Elevenate, Pure Jacket and I wear a Freetour.
Is shorter skies better for this kind of fun? :)
Im a begginer skier. should i get freestyle atomics and if yes what type please
quick question, I would like to do this with my kids, but i am not sure about the ski. is there one size for all?
What is that orange jacket who wear on left side guy?
What skis are you using in this video?
What goggles are you using?
how tall are you an how tall are your park skis?
177CM and in this video I used a pair of 172cm skis. Thats a bit too short for me to be honest but helpful to show butters easier etc.
Vad roligt innan Roger är tillbaka
Vad menar du?

Does anyone know in which ski resort the video was taken?
Likely Laax
Yeah
are you in german because on the sign it says „langsam“ what is german for slow
What lids you lovely lads wearing?
Lids... helmets perhaps? I got a Atomic Revent Pro or something like that.
Where are your bindings mounted?
On top of the skis
center of the ski probably
He has +6 for rails ans stuff, and +4 for jumps and all mountain
I have mine +4 which is -3,5 cm from center
Ok thanks
just a quick note from a kayaker regarding that worm turn, it’s asking for a shoulder dislocation!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing. I haven’t yet seen any issues with this.

@3:21 - "I crashed"... yeah, then you crashed for a second time.
Anyone else not convinced by 'worm turns'?
Crashing is often the best part of skiing :P
Kinda yes - looks like a great drill to learn recovery control but as a 'trick' I can see my kid saying 'er.......ok'.
i got stressed watching this as an intermediate skier :D

hehe
I sadly stoped saying it that way :(
