The Nevele wasn't accurately depicted. It was located outside of the Catskills proper and was small unlike the year round hotel that was the main attraction as I worked there. Great lost ski area like Highmount and Scotch Valley would have represented the Catskills better. Went to Ruka in 2022 with my family, it was insane! The snow was perfect ALL DAY (it was January so that's to be expected) and it was sick skiing in both the sun and the dark (also to be expected). It got to -20 degrees C so pretty cold but it was worth it! I'm going to Norway next year to ski and I hope it's as fun as Finland; I can't wait!

Most of these ski areas all failed because they lacked difficult terrain. It's hard to retain return customers when it's nothing but green and blue runs.
