Less than one hour, while you wait, without taking off the boots. Outstanding! Using the railroad tie to help strip the boots is ingenuous! Army approved! HOOAH! Now subscribed.
This is the first of your videos I've watched. I don't think I've ever seen anybody shave a boot before. Lol. But you are a Master of an art that most people take for granted. The only thing that would make this better is a before & after section at the end, but beautiful work either way. Bravo, my man. Bravo. 👏👏

I've never watched a boot shining video or anything like it before. But i put this on to fall asleep and it did NOT happen. The rage from seeing him not shine the right boot's tongue kept me awake and alert smh Edit: videos like these are cool asf and i love the idea behind them and even the way that everything else is done. I used to shine shoes (very briefly) before so this is super interesting to watch for me. Thank you for going out of your way to make this content and publish it for everyone. Angelo perfected his way to turn shoe shining into a method to a merhod for you to relax while getting a shine and video it for relaxing for those whose sensories are affected by the sight and sounds. Whatever Angelo charges it's well worth it. I've roughed out my own work boots with fine sandpaper just like he's using or a straight edge razor. I made them look brand new. I've also roughed out saddles as well.

I got that same knife, Gerber Flatiron iirc, the steel is a bit mild, but considering I bought it to beat the hell out of it, that’s perfect. Sharpens easy, small, tough, and the weight lends itself well to the shape of the knife. It’s about 50 buck but I got it on a decent sale, I’d still pay the full price for it. My only complaint is the pocket clip is lil bit too short and uncomfortably fat, so it can be a problem if you’re moving around a lot. If you have some scrap, and a file then problem solved lol. 7/10 for a budget knife.

I make my work boots last years. The scraping bit is too extreme for me. In the winter I get salt and magnesium chloride on my boots that can be damaging. First, I use saddle soap to clean them. Second, after drying I apply a leather conditioner on them. Third, I apply Doc Martens Wonder Balsam. Lastly, buff them out.
Your videos have been immensely helpful when I find myself tossing and turning at 2am so thank you so much. As someone who makes amateur videos myself (nothing like yours) I'd love to see your camera and mic setup in a pic one day!

One should never do such things! Even when leather is super thick, cutting grain is just damaging boots.

I highly recommend the CJRB Crag and Rampart, if you like the Flatiron's shape. I used a Rampart all day, every day for almost 4 years at my last job
