Construction Electrician, and have been wearing boots for 30 years. These videos are extra special for dudes like me. Great job. By the way, if anyone finds it interesting….these are actually classic Roofers boots. More eyelets and laces help contour the fit and foot flex when working on a slope. They usually get more toe wear from “toe down” kneeling.
man, i download this vid, turn geometry in VLC player and it hurts my brain to watch it like this...don´t know why, but its so displeasing...and yeah, also „angelo shoe shine“ mat is upside down
As someone who started wearing boots in my Early 20s (moved from a hot weather country to a cold one) I started appreciating boots a lot more haha in fact my first pair of boots are still kicking, 7 years and counting and are still in one piece! Great vid btw keep it up 👏
I live in a temperate or cold emvironmemt depending on the season and boots are my go to. What kind of boots do you wear? I personally like combat boots, super durable, waterproof and keep your foot pretty comfy and snug. Only problem is they are kind of ugly haha
@TheWitac which combat boots do you get? I live in Canada, so I get surplus CAF boots, which are cheap but are certainly not the most attractive boot around. But everyone has their own tastes.
@@Alexander_Hodge I used to wear YDS Military boots everyday but now i wear Vogel M1491. Vogel is much more comfortable and keeps my feet warmer than YDS and also has zips on sides so it's easier to wear them on and off and it's for 4 seasons lol. YDS is a Turkish brand they make boots for Turkish Armed Forces. I have 3 different pair of YDS boots. And i have one Özkan brand summer boots and also 1 more pair of Vogel but with different colour. Both Özkan and Vogel are Turkish brands too. Most of our military personel use Vogel. I got my first YDS boots when i started high school and now i graduated from university 2 years ago. They are still like new. I live in Turkey but city i live İzmir is not too much cold in winters. But still, i love my military boots since they are stylish, functional, reliable and lastly better than overpriced fashion brands. :)
The man has skills no doubt I've seen guys come to angelo with boots that look like they got run over by a freight train and he's brought them back to life and made them look good
@Angelo shoe shine , hi there I've been watching your videos for about 3 years now and I have not said anything hardly until today because Its sometimes the silent viewer who has the more positive view and I just wanted to tell you dont let negative comments keep you from being amazing I absolutely love all your videos and keep up the amazing work
Great video as usual Angelo. It's not always about making the boot look brand new again. Sometimes, it's just about getting another year out of a pair of boots that fit just right. I enjoy watching you do your thing to boots no matter what the end result is. Not a big fan of when you shine a brand new pair of Nick's that were splashed in a puddle one time though. I love the videos of you working on actual hard worked boots. Anyway, keep doing your thing. You can't please everyone.
Good work, also a kind of art, to find a competent approach to this or that shoe, and to the different materials from which the shoes are made. If I had the opportunity, I would at least once turn to the services of such a specialist.
Always wondered what that flap was on the bottom of the laces area. Does it do anything? They came on my boots but I'm not a fan of how they look, but dont know if they serve a purpose.
It's common on logger style boots and acts as a gaurd to protect the tongue and laces from sticks, dirt, or whatever you might run into in the woods. They are pretty effective in the right environment. 👍🏻
The first 30 seconds of watching this video, watching the way he touched those boots, I could tell I was in for a treat and watching a master and his craft.
Kept falling asleep !! Finally finished it after 4 attempts !! Great as always ! Glad to read it’s not the finished product as I didn’t like the colour 😂😂
Me too. I was determined to finish watching it but angelo was doing his job a bit too well so it must've took me twice as long to watch it!! Also glad it's not fully finished yet.
@@seyahharas14 Me too! My OCD kicks in when I see the grime still not scraped off the tongues I’m like “Nooo! You missed here, and there get it! Plz!”LOL!
Is that you added in sandwich bag was Mr Clean? Just a thought,.... Thank you for great videos for every times, I really enjoy your skills and integrity on your works.
Great question, I’ve always thought was for “looks”, but when I saw your comment, started pondering…since most logger, wild land fire boots have them (these have heels like that kind of boot), I bet it is to help protect the toes from falling items?
All the negative comments and for what? Because you don’t understand how tough toe works? Just move on your ignorance is showing. Great video! Awesome process!🙏🏻
What is that pumpkin colored goop that you covered the toes with? It kind of ruined the look, didn't it? Plus the client had to sit there for 14 hours. 🤔

When the hell did he “shine” a practically new pair of 700$ boots?
Damn some people can’t help but be overly critical and annoying

I don’t have any involvement with shoe shining at all yet I find this really relaxing and interesting lol thank you!
watching this video makes me soo sleepy
your restoration skills is a work of art man.

Angelo: "Yes way"
Just when I thought tapping and scraping was everything, Angelo gives me squeaks now!
there is also licking, brushing and on a website asmr p*rn
Love the airplanes flying around in your shop
Let this be a lesson, we can restore our hearts and minds. Don't need new ones, just an amazing shine
Awesome vid!!!! I am curious though,, could you or someone tell me what does the lighter do for the leather boots. Greatly appreciate it!
I think it has to do with burning off frayed threads, and melting off old waxing.
@@SandraNelson063 thank you very much. I had no idea what that was for👍
Outstanding repair, clean and shine. More magic to enjoy on Easter Sunday. Oorah Marine. Semper Fidelis.

I think this is my favorite video you’ve done!
ASMR shoes cleanning is the best ASMR
Change my mind.
You ALWAYS do a great ASMR shoe shine! Thank you for all the great naps, my man!
Wow! And now with a gooey caramel, toe stripe!
Awesome video, I love the SSJB Vegeta waiting to assist as well.
But now his boots have an orange toe stripe that dosent match whatsoever....
I have been watching your video for a long time. It was taken very well.
At some point you have to tell yourself "I need new boots"
Given the price of new stuff in this economy, I'd rather spend 20 bucks to keep them one more year.
Nah you just need Angelo shoe shine
But these ones are so lovingly broken in and comfy!
@@mystisith3984 is that what it cost to shine boots?

that is a long process with a great outcome. it took two segments to finish it. awesome work Sir.
Thank you for your comment!
One day, I really do hope you do a show and tell of your watch and knife collection. You certainly seem to have some beauties!
@angelo great as always. Can I ask what is that solution you put on laces?
I think the way they started looked best
What product did he use on the toes?
Tuff Toe. Its essentially flexible epoxy that people put on work boot toes to reinforce them and prevent further delamination.
@@BradyBegeman thanks. Some manufacturers do this but I’ve never seen it used in a shine or repair video before.
Superb job sir😊
Thanks a lot!
It must have done the trick because I woke up and the video was finished 😂 well done 🥾
Piping that stuff on the shoes gave me tingles like mad!!! And I don't really know why !
Nice restoration.
Hope you had a nice Easter. Have a great week brother. ❤🇺🇸
great video! very relaxing and you seem a real expert :) happy Easter also!

Is it the same person in the chair each time?
what are those flaps for?
Who makes the boots you are wearing?
I'd guess they are Red Wings Iron Rangers. Seems to be a recurring look on the channel. 😅

I've used tough toe on boots before. I like the look, but I would have done them in black for these boots.
The only thing that baffles me. Is if you didn't take care of your boots the whole time. Why take them to a shoe shine?
