does anyone have a video or instructions on how to do this repair with the updated elements where you cut off the connector, and they offer a butt splice connector to replace the blade style connectors. there are no Zline technicians in my area and Zline refuses to send instructions
If your oven isn’t heating it has to be the element. In this oven there is a broil element on top and the bake on bottom. Test the broil and if it heats up there is a good chance your baking element on the bottom is dead.
Zline offers new updated elements where you cut off the connector, and they offer a butt splice connector to replace the blade style connectors. Easy, you don't have to open the top, just remove each element and reconnect. Didn't solve my problem, as I think mine is the switch itself, but both my elements the wire conectors were brittle and shrink wrap had disintegrated. At least i know I have new updated elements now...
Were you able to fix this yourself? I’m experiencing this same issue and wondering how big of a deal taking the top off the stove. Our stove is about 3 years old so it’s out of warranty.
Hi there! I was able to fix on my own. I did not have to take the top off, just fyi. The new kits purchased through Zline come with adapters to splice. I will post a repair video in 2 days.
We have the same problem, wish we didn’t go with zline. I believe it is a inferior product. Mine went out thanksgiving day had to cook the turkey at the neighbors.

Thankyou This was very helpful
Thank you for the view, I hope you resolve your issue.
Did you ever post the video on how to fix this with the new updated Z Line heating element? I have encountered this same exact issue.
If you could provide some more info, like bake element model number it'd be great.
Sorry, part number
Link to order the part?
thanks for your video, my bake side also stopped working.. hopefully my costco warranty holds up.
Of course! Hope you get it back up and running.

Thanks for the view, I am thinking of replacing mine. I’m having to many issues pop up. I’ve only had it three years.
