Hi Friends,
I put off launching this video for a few weeks because it was originally scheduled to release the week that Findaway announced their new terms and conditions. I don't address those term changes in this video and I plan to go over my decisions regarding Findaway in a future video. As I often preach on this channel, major strategy changes should never be a knee-jerk reaction and I am taking my own advice and thinking through all of my distribution options. I hope you find this tutorial helpful and I'll be back next week with more videos!

Heya! Just getting started with findaway voices, so thanks for the video! Do you happen to know if and how I can add new chapters to already published stories? My goal is to test three stories against each other and continue with the one most appreciated :)

Great video, thank you. QUESTIONS: My memoir has 2 photo sections in the paperback and ebook. Do I upload them in the supplement material? If yes, it looks like I can only upload one attachment (I have 2)

You can upload the PDF extra. It should be one file to upload and there should be some instruction in the audiobook directing the listener to find it.

A few things: 1. Check that all the required fields are complete. 2. Scroll all the way to the top of the page.
In your video you show that paperback and ebook ISBN's can be uploaded alongside the audio ISBN. I am doing it now (June 9th 2024) and there is no option for the other 2 ISBN's, only for my audio. Also, can EVERYTHING (other than BISAC and ISBN's) be changed or edited later? Not once published, but as I go. I am still in draft mode at the moment and each time I click 'save' to go to the next section, I am worried I won't be able to come back and edit if I find a mistake.
Yes, you can amend the meta data for everything except category, ISBN, title, subtitle, and author or narrator names.

Thank you for making this video, I didn't know about Findaway. Before I upload to FA, is it possible to set the audiobook price to zero. I am contributing my entire audiobook on mental health and trauma 20 hours in total (its already on youtube and my website for free) and would like to offer on spotify as free too. Any suggestions welcome - also does it have to have an ISBN? Iv got a few left but didn't know if it was required
Yes, you can set the audiobook as free : support.spotify.com/us/findawayvoices/article/free-audiobooks/ And you will need an ISBN. Findaway can provide one but if you have them that you own you can use those.

Amazing video. Just curious, if you're putting your ebook isbn here that means you have either not published on kdp or else if you have published then you did not enroll into kdp select, is it correct?
A few things to clarify here :
1. I own all of my ISBNs. I never use the free KDP Version.
2. Whether or not the eBook is enrolled in kindle select does not impact whether the print or audiobooks can be distributed wide, off the amazon.com platform. I do not use kindle select because all of my books are available in all formats wherever books are sold.
3. The question on the Findaway Voices is asking for the associated eBook ISBN for the audiobook. This allows retailers to connect the two versions of the same book. It has no baring on whether the eBook is or is not available on that site or exclusive to Amazon KDP.

2 things here-
1.So that means you have entered the same ebook and print book isbn on findaway voices that you had used on kdp and other platforms?
2. even if my ebook is enrolled in kdp select, i should still enter my isbn/Free ASIN here on findaway voices so the retailers can connect my ebook to audiobooks?
