Does Dexpan Really Work to Break Rocks? | Rock Removal with Dexpan, VEVOR Jackhammer & Tractor

Dexpan is a non-explosive grout that expands in 24 hours to break rocks and concrete just by adding water to the mixture and pouring it into pre-drilled holes. With a large rock-filled yard, I used Dexpan to help break surface level rocks to prevent my lawnmower blades from hitting them and used my VEVOR jackhammer and Yanmar tractor to finish removal.

what type of rock was that ? I am investigating doing some granite (Canadian shield)

Sandstone.

This is sandstone. Very easy. I'm trying to break granite boulder that is still quater buried. Any existing cracks make huge difference. I'm using wedges but put some dexpan in few holes.
11 lbs 0nly does 9 linear feet. 1 inch hole. They lie about coverage. You also spill it. Hole has to be angled down or it spills out. I'm doing hard granite. My first attempt with wedges gave me too much confidence. There was a hidden fault which made the first break easy. Drilling st an angle can splinters which get you know where. Hole should be vertical or horizontal I think.
