Starting in Edinburgh, I visited Oban, Fort William, Invergarry, Dornie, the Isle of Skye, Loch ness and inverness, Aberdeen, Newburgh, Stonehaven, and then went back to Edinburgh. I visited around 25 - 30 castles during the trip. Each was such a different experience, and learning each of their stories was fascinating. It was one of the most fun weeks of my life!
Cheers Alan great memories of being there as a kid and more recently. It was used in the highlander movie right at the start and my dad designed and built the old visitor centre. Keep up the great efforts Alan. I've never kept track of my castle count but quite a few 😎
