VERY interesting. Thanks. Saw similar cup carvings on Orkney this past October.
Loved my visit to Orkney a few years ago.was meant to go back when the pandemic hit. Hopefully I'll get back one day
Thank you for sharing. Great to learn a bit of Ayrshire history that l may never have found out about.
Your most welcome am glad you enjoyed the video
You're really getting about these days, Nice to see another video. Have a Happy Near Year.
Thank you Wayne,I try to get about not always possible. Managed to fit it in whilst visiting some relative's in Ayr. Happy new year to you and your family
Good video! Have a Happy New Year!
Happy new year
Alan, you don't want people "coming after you" in East Ayrshire.
Are these definitely rock carvings?? The look like sedimentary rock markings from a one time sea bed
From what iv read there have been numerous scans and studies that all show that they are carvings
Carvings... the clue is they are going the opposite way to the layers...
@@eckypooh50 that certainly makes sense
Great as always Alan, possibly an early darts championship, or spaceship design. Happy New year all. Px
@@peterlyall9909 thank you Peter all the best for 2022
