hey man, thanks for posting this. been waiting for this video! i hope i won't have to do it - but my time will come. very informative. funny, when you fired it up - she sounds EXACTLY like my 90. thanks again!
Video was a while ago I know but are there part numbers? Also do you have other videos for this motor? I’m looking for any schematics or diagrams that there may be for this motor as it is very hard to find them. Any links would be appreciated.
Be very careful on which flathead you use to take the jet out because if it’s too big, it’s going to strip those screw threads. Also clean the jet while you have it out. As far as the float bowl being warped, I have put them on the bench sander and ground them down flat as it was a very small gap in the middle. Too much gap and you will have to replace
Where did you get your carb kits and replacement float bowls. Im like talking brand and who sells them. I see a lot of stuff on the interweb. Don't want to waste money and time on junk. Also how did the kits and bowls hold up?
That was a helpful video. I have a leak in one of those big brass screws. so how do I get a new O-ring for it? 1994 evinrude V4 90 hp outboard. Fuel dripping from top brass screw that gies into black plastic float bowl. Did not check other side. I think this just started cuz I made some adjustment to throttle, then started it. I tried to tighten screw but it dripped faster, so I backed it off. Should I just try to tighten it more or do I have to take it out and get a new O-ring?
@@torreyherod6944 thanks. I re-did the entire upper carb/bowl last year. Cast Aluminum bowl not black plastic. Very expensive! I think I need to do the lower one (of 2) also. I almost had it all worked out, what to order, but other things came up. I'll have to finish, order all the correct parts needed.

@@noneyerbidness beautiful! Appreciate you 🤘🏼
The best money can buy 👌
For anyone doing this make sure to blow out that jet & bowl with carb cleaner or brake parts cleaner and air to make sure it's clear.
By any chance do you have a part number for the float bowl. I have a 90 that is leaking from the bb in the side. Thanks in advance

Hello,
How do you know when they are bad?
Hi. Do you know what size is stamped/etched on thr side of the float bowl jets?
One of my carburetor air intake is leaking a little bit of gasoline. Does it means it is bad?
Thanks in advance

Do you have a part number or link where to order parts for this motor? Just picked up a 92 150 faststrike

I pulled my carbs off. When I took out the 4 long bolts they had gas and oil on them. Is that normal
the 10mm bolts the bottom 2 not sure if I switched them will it make a difference

Check under the screw and make sure it’s not cracked on my 1987 v4 90hp they were both cracked so I had to order 2 new float bowls
