To the mechanic I appreciate any other tips as I said I am not a mechanic and I am sure your input will help the next guy. Thank you

Nice motor. Sounds great. Mine is surging like crazy and only runs at low RPM. So far did: ALL 6 CARBS, Flywheel, Stator. Checked Fuel Pump, new fuel lines, and a million other things. Fun times!

Once again I am not a mechanic however if I had that scenario I would then move to fuel lines and primer ball make sure you don’t have a pinhole leak anywhere causing you to lose fuel intake

I had a surging problem at mid-range throttle on my Ocean Pro 115hp. Found a warped cover on the vapor separator tank; replaced that and no more surging.

Nice video. I have the same exact problem even though I replace the caskets. How tight did you make the bolts. Any recommendations?

Sorry for delay. I really am not sure. I believe just tightened to reasonable without forcing it or stripping threads

Me being a mechanic and doing this for 35 yrs. would have replaced all gaskets...If the one base gasket is old and worn-out you know the others are chance of going.....those complete kits are cheap....and I'd also disconnect and discontinue the VRO system and mix my own gas...50/1 ..... Just saying
