100% agree. What will become of all humanity and this world when there are people with such a mindset. I get the impression that many people are becoming more and more absorbed and shaped by what they hear and read in the media. The term "mother" traditionally refers to a female parent, but in today's world, families come in all shapes and forms. Some transgender men who have given birth might identify as mothers. It ultimately depends on how individuals define their roles within their families.

On a primal level, nurturing goes deeper for mothers with their young; it's a part of her biological wiring. This is the case in almost every species of female in every part of nature. It doesn't mean fathers can't nurture too, but they will never be mothers just like mothers will never be fathers. You don't need any certificate, degree, or class in formal education to understand this; just look around you and it's blatantly factual.

However, I have taught her to be respectful of herself first and to build from the foundation I’ve induced into her ability to succeed. But I’m no mother.

Yeah, I believe they were a bit forceful with their opinions but that's OK. What matters is respecting the other person. And none of the sides has the obligation to accept the opposing view, but yes to listen and think about it.
