If the company decides they will only hire bald people, you should not work at the company unless you are willing to shave your head.

If you show up at a football club and are clearly overweight and the club doctor says, well you need to lose weight before we can play you, would you say that is discrimination? Would you refuse to lose weight?
Cultural thing? It’s completely “religious” commanded by Allah in the Quran for women to cover their beauty and protect their modesty in the presence of strange men
How can a piece of clothing affect a company??? ridiculous..... are they hearing what they r saying
“It’s very personal if you’re the one wearing the scarf isn’t it”
she is not honest the head scarv is to cover hair. in the real Christianity, women used to cover their head.
amen

Yes, 500 ago they did.

@@liaw3166 Yes. I don’t know why people accuse others of lying when they don’t know what each persons reasons are.
My point is if I run a company I make the rules. If you don't like it, don't join.
what if a jewish woman wears a wig for religious reasons? Will she be banned too? But another woman who wears the wig for cosmetic reasons is allowed to or what?
Any employer can enforce a dress code for employees ... as simple as that ...
Bro headscarves for muslim woman, for muslim people, is sacred and is religious,by telling them to take of their headscarves you basically spitting on their identity, on their culture, on their religion bro..like how can anyone in their right mind think that is okay, like i legitimately do not understand
People just need to respect each other man, like fr
Criticize hijab is fair and legit.
Don’t care if people feels offended.
@@DearBill But you certainly will feel offended if the company demands you to take off your clothes, your bra, your underwear, and expose your most private parts to all of your supervisors and colleagues, right? Oh, the company has the right to do so. They shouldn't care if you feel offended.
That's how Muslims feel. Hijab is like clothes to them.
@@zhuangjoy2645
according your name , you are Chinese.
China is a secular country.
Taoism and Confucianism never been so extreme and any Chinese women is able to reject the patriarchy in these religions.
I am not sure you are knowledged about Islam and what hijab meaning.
Hijab is always presented like a "choice" when Muslim discusses with Western people.
Actually not, it is a compulsory.
Plus a Muslim pressure , community insists on hijabi girls , are more "valuable" than other unveiled girls.
Hijab is not a common clothing like kimono , mini skirt , pant , crop top or bohemian dress.
@@zhuangjoy2645
in Arab countries, veiled women always supported Islamist party , the governments applied the sharia early 80’s and harshly during 90’s.
Hijab never comes alone
Hijab is not a choice , just an obligation imposed by Quran.
Hijab is a pressure for the ones choose to not wear it.
Hijab make society segregated between genders + religious minorities facing more oppressions.
Without hijab , islamic system cannot exists. Sharia law works with hijab , with majority of women wears , except the Christian Coptics and rich women lives in urban areas.
The veiled are affiliated with sharia , they belongs to islamists.
@@DearBill The reason it's an obligation? Because in Arab, Persian, and Turkic cultures, historically both Muslim and Christian women of considerable social status covered themselves for dignity. An unveiled woman was usually a slave, dancing maiden, or prostitute who uses her body to entertain people. Even in the 21st century, it's reasonable that many people would feel ashamed to see their daughters dressed like a prostitute or courtesan.
Yes, I'm Chinese, and my Asian culture has many similarities with them. It's easier for us Asians to understand the mindsets of Muslims than you guys.
I think common sense would be to say good luck to that company and bye bye.
Piers interrupts everyone but he cries when he is interrupted lmao.
This is the uk not Islam
i don't get why saira khan is even debating against this topic its literally comes down to morals and the amount of respect you have towards other religions
Yeah...like the way the hijabi girl respects the company rules. Right?
Exactly. Saira is a patronising gobby mare who just shouts. She has no business here
@ezeee595 Yeah....like your thinly veiled contempt for Muslims is showing. Hanna, the well-spoken young woman in hijab said, she would rather leave than remove her scarf. So slither away you serpent.
The question is " define neutral clothing"?
covering yourself with clothes is old fashioned and narrow minded wearing no clothes is freedom and being cool this the world we are living in going back to stone age when people covered their selves from leafs.
People think that being less dressed is civilized when it's actually the opposite
IT AIN'T A CULTURE THING, IT IS A RELIGION ORDER AND I FEEL COMFORTABLE WEARING IT, MAKES ME FEEL SAFE.
which is exactly why its a joke
fro whom? are you insecure?
Piers clearly knows which community is more committed to saving the idea of being humans.
A NUN WEARING VEILS : fear of god and modesty
A JEWISH WOMAN WAERING SHEITEL : they signal to their surroundings that they are married and that they comply with traditional notions of propriety.
A MUSLIM WOMAN WEARING HIJAB : disgusting and forced
WTF
So a dude can identify as a gal but headscarf isn’t allowed🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I'd say you can wear pretty much whatever you want as long as it doesn't "overlap" with the workplaces rules.
Like wearing shorts when working in a lab or as a nurse or something or wearing a hijab when you are working in some sort of sterile environment where you have to put on those shower-cap thingies or a whole suit (although that one may be able to fit a hijab underneath, I honestly don't know).
So bottom line is: As long as there is no valid reason as to why something should not be worn, let the employees have their right to wear what they want.
I understand your opinions but the thing about it overlapping however, us muslims cover up because it’s for Allah. Any women asked to take it off because it’s getting into the way of their work, if they know the Quran and the boundaries of Islam, would chose their religion and shouldn’t even be doing that job in the first place 😊
@DialogSL why can't you just not force someone to do something that interferes with their beliefs?
If it is not hurting anyone and not affecting the job, then what is the matter?
I say it is a matter of pride and nothing else if you want to impose your thoughts forcefully upon someone else for no logical reason.
@@DialogSL Do you know how to read? Because i never said no one is equal and i didn’t even say that they should change their rules to be lenient to religions. This video was mostly about muslims plus the guest is a muslim. I literally just said that muslims shouldn’t even be working at a job that doesn’t respect their clothing and beliefs. Read and understand my words better next time before saying some stupid stuff and putting words in my mouth.
@@DialogSL Also none of the other religions wear a hijab. Only muslims do and we do it for Allah. That is why I said “us” because that is something we do differently. It wasn’t used to say we are superior. 💀 Stupidity is overflowing on the internet
Employees also have the right to go and look for work in companies that allow them to wear religious attire.
Now ask Piers Morgan why is a " Bikini " banned in Arab Countries
i can understand if its a safety issue (like if u work in a kitchen or as like a firefighter or whatever) but if theres no legitimate reason for it then ... why
Company rules. She can go and look for a job else where.
And then they say “Human Rights”… If a man can now wear a dress why cannot Muslim women continue to wear a scarf to stay connected to their roots ?
I could never really trust anyone, especially the more educated they are, when they have head coverings that must be worn because of religious reasons. Ok if you are out in the desert or it's cold and raining but really INSIDE, seriously!! It implies they are not able to question religious dogma, apply reason and logic .... in my view it diminishes their intelligence. It's a great ruling for companies and all that religious symbolism can be kept for the privacy of the home.
just mute the video play it through you can clearly see who is right here
who is it?
It's just kinda funny XDXD imagine taking this argument to a Muslim country like mine, Malaysia.
Try this in Japan bodoh
This is just hypocisy. In Saudi Arabia, they don't allow stewardess to wear burkha. Just follow the company rules.
It is very easy for Morgan to be righteous.
Try standing at the other side with the company policy, that will be different story.
But this is the same like many Muslim and communist country's. Muslim country's lay down head covering laws, like Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, They say ALL women have to cover their hair; and none Muslim women have to abide by these laws. I am very sure that all of you Muslim women knows about these laws in these Muslim country's; and you would say yes these none Muslim women should respect the law. You don't have no problem with these Muslim country's laws for none Muslim women but when the opposite it now done to you, YOU ALL CRY "FREEDOM OF EXPRESION, FOR MY RELIGION" I think a lot of you Muslims are "HYPOCRITES"
When have any of you Muslim women spoken out publicly for none Muslim rights in these Muslims country's????? YOU DEAR NOT as you know you will get a BIG black lash from your Muslim community and family. And I don't even think any of you care for none Muslim rights in Muslim's countries.
I really want to know if any of you Muslim women publicly speak out for none Muslim women's rights????
Cause i see that this is all HYPOCRISY.
With that being said, i do not agree with laws that demand the removal of religious clothing unless it is for safety and security reasons.
