    The mind is so powerful but you control it, put it to move you forward not hold you back

    • @rickstark85
      @rickstark85 5 років тому +1

      You actually don't control it entirely. We're enslaved to our will. Your will is out of your control entirely. It's a product of your nature. You're born with a nature and a will. True and absolute control of your mind would require freedom of the will. So no, you don't really have control of your mind. Just saying.

    • @zsgvcfcgfdd
      @zsgvcfcgfdd 5 років тому

      @@rickstark85 ok ok you took it beyond what im sayin, you ever heard you could be whatever you want to be? Like ive experienced the power of the mind and seeing that if im willing to put the work towards something and truely working and being determined to reach something it isnt impossible, now obviously time and things we cant control can keep us from attaining exactly what were goin for but realistically and timing and work you can achieve great things, we can only the best of ourself puttin forth effort

    • @zsgvcfcgfdd
      @zsgvcfcgfdd 5 років тому

      @@rickstark85 but do you not make choices everyday using your mind to determine your destination?

    • @rickstark85
      @rickstark85 5 років тому

      @@zsgvcfcgfdd of course... But are you equivocating freedom of the will with an ability to choose? Having the ability to choose does not equal free will. Free will is the ability to choose unimpeded, which we don't have. Our choice are always impeded by the predisposition of our nature.

    • @zsgvcfcgfdd
      @zsgvcfcgfdd 5 років тому

      @@rickstark85 so i see youre more than likely an educated being and i honestly pobably need a dictionary for some of your vocabulary lol in this aspect of life for most part lifting and progressing in strength and being determined to continue forward having a mentality to keep going and striving you can conquer much based on your focus your goals you determine those things and knowing what your trying to attain, if your mind is set to something you can reach it with effort and work that isnt vein but served its purpose, as for controling your mind and will i heard a question on that about will and i cant remember what it was but definitly along the lines your speaking but it was a mind bending thought for me and i struggled to comprehend exactly the whole meaning of it all

    I’m in that head space right now I feel kind of bad in a way
    Because I’ve basically cut people and a lot of things I used to do just so I can focus on myself I hit the gym every night after the kids are fed homework’s done I’m in the gym as soon as I did that I started making progress making gains I shut my Facebook page to eliminate any distractions thats not about my fitness so I’m glad you mentioned that I’ve never been more focused in my life as I am right now, thank you brother, Peace.

I was caught up in trying to do rpe and hitting a muscle more frequently and the shit wasnt working because I wasnt going all out. I recently started doing your style (and simeon and ct fletchers) of countless sets and reps all to failure really pushing and my god my chest hasnt been this sore in a long time. My bench is finally going up though. I think CT was on to something when he said fuck the rulebook. Most people who believe in the high frequency rpe shit look terrible anyways

      Do about 50% of your max and rep it out for 12-15 reps. If u cant do em all in a row, stop for 10 seconds, breathe, reset, then do the rest. The Cns takes somewhere between 60 seconds to 5 minutes to recover so anything below 60 is still stressing it and helping you to build endurance. When those 12-15 reps get easy increase the weight by a few pounds and just keep doing that. Should help to build your bench 1 rep max too 🤷🏻‍♂️💯
