I was wondering why? Mainly watching other vid and i didnt you really notice you explaining using 2 to end up making 1. But finished product turned out nice. What goes in the side/use to be top "cabinet"?
Currently I've got some magnetic hooks & trays in there holding my noise cancelling earmuffs, respirator, filters, nitrile glove box, shop towels, and magnetic power strip
I'm sure that could work. I just used a buckle strap, one end tied to the cart's right side handle and the other end tied to the lid handle of the door. Saves me from having to lock/unlock the side door all the time to keep it from swinging open when on uneven ground.
I purchased the two carts and all the extras from HF during their parking lot sale last Summer for a bit of a discount. I think the carts are $199.99 each right now. I'm going to guess I paid around $500 altogether for the whole build, including all the extra hardware, folding trays, extra handles, etc.
I think it is. Played with the Yukon chest in the store and wasn't impressed with the quality. At the end of the day though, if money is a concern, I'd rather save $ on the box and spend it on better quality tools instead.
For your side cabinet, get a couple of push magnets for cabinets from Home Depot
Man your gonna have to make a tutorial build video for this. Like good work!
This is so cool! Thinking about doing this myself !
Add a magnet to keep the side door closed
I really like this mod. I think I'll wait until they offer the four-drawer in slate-gray.
I feel that one day you'll say "Hello there" to a guest, and from across the room that cabinet will answer, "General Ken-obi!"
Nice job
Yes I would love a tutorial instructions- love it - love the video
Could I not put the side tray on and put a draw stack on ?
Fantastic mod
soo cool man nice job
Maybe use one strut on the side to keep it closed and prevent it from over opening?
Nice!

On the side put a bunch of hooks there for tools
Great job how were you able to get the lower box draws to be able to work with the key lock on top box TIA
I cut and riveted the upper and lower chest locking bars together. Made a tutorial video about it.
Is this the series 2 or 3? I want to do this but all the stuff I find is for series 2
Howd u get 4 handles. Frim only 2 carts??
Bro how
There is nothing about this I don’t like
Am I missing a part #1 ?
Can you use some sort of magnet to keep the side cabinet closed?

Lowes and HD sell magnetic catches for kitchen cabinets for $2-$3 a piece.
COST????????????????????? TY

@@damienlinh And for $100 more dollars you'd have more space and saved a ton of time by just buying the full bank service cart, or the 42" roll cab.
500$ for the mods ? Is better do this than get the Yukon 340$
