- In this video we add the end cabinet from harbor freight to the 5 drawer tool cart. This is a popular mod for the tool cart. The end cabinet has a part number of 64971, 64448, 64447, 64358, 64159, 64450, 64449, 64973,and 64972. The 5 drawer tool cart has a part number of 56429, 64061, 64060, 64059, 64031, 64030, 64032, 64033, 64721, 56237, 64720, 56239, 64722, 56238.
#Harborfreightprojects
The goal was to make the ultimate tool cart. We also add a jack holder to the other side of the cart. This thing is a beast now.

I REALLY like your idea with this to expand the storage capacity of the tool cart. I WILL definitely do this side cabinet mod to mine as well. Thanks! Also, food for thought, in my 22 years as an Air Force heavy equipment mechanic (mobility/deployments) we used to bolt the top and bottom toolboxes together by removing the drawers as needed for access and drill a couple holes and use bolts, fender washers and nuts to tie both together for better stability. You could do same by bolting through the corners and with spacers for empty space on sides on cart, along with casters that everyone has already suggested. Since you keep cart strapped inside trailer, this would prevent the side cabinet from possibly coming off IF you hit big enough bump or pothole then open trailer to find cabinet and tools off all over trailer.
I hung an add on cabinet to both sides of the cart. Built a cradle of sorts outta 1/4 thick angle for under both add ons and mounted the blue hd wheels under each end. Also mounted the folding shelf to the side of the add on. Heavy but works great.
Do you move it around. That’s got to be pretty heavy. The side cabinets are heavy. If I could weld I would have built a cradle. I had thought of that.
I put all my racing stickers on sheet magnets and then cut around them. That way I can take them off or move them around at any time. Great video !
Bob Moyer that’s a great idea. Thanks for the idea.
That's a great idea
Great idea
I was thinking of adding that end cabinet to my blue cart. Looks great. I also agree with you on Harbor Freight should come out with different color jack stands.
Maybe they will hear us and do it. Everything else is color matched.
I did the same thing on a cart I use at work. The thing I had to do was make a base for the cart and side cabinet. When I had everything loaded up and tried to move the whole thing, the side cabinet made it too heavy on that end and almost flipped the thing over. maybe your floor jack will balance it. Great job.
Great video, but good lord, I felt like I was hammered the entire time watching this with how often it was out of focus.
I'm definitely gonna do this to mine great ideal !
Did the same hack on my cart, but kept the front of both units even. This meant notching the back of the side unit. I also bolted the side unit to the main cart’s legs, just for added security. I’ve been looking for a matching touch up paint for the neon green, so will look into 22Trips. Nice job!
I just bough one. Thanks for the great ideas. Although I probably would have went with some type of dremel tool or electrical cutter, for the cuts. When I assembled my tool box I knew it had more potential.=, but you blew me away. The only thing that I probably would have done different would be to add two more casters.
jt mobley I would definitely recommend using a small cut off wheel for the cuts. The casters under the box would definitely reduce the load on the cart. I’m glad I could help you. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Yeah I would love to find that jack holder!!
Thanks for a great vid
RM Goad thank you. The jack holder cane from summit racing or amazon.
I would have just put a set of casters under the new cabinet
Chris Spderbetg I was going to. I still might once I see how it nice handles the weight being fully loaded.
This is what I was going to reccomend. Maybe add a thin plate to bottom of the cabinet along the outside edge to support the casters, and add like 2 there.
Paul ZillaX I might build a angle iron frame around the whole thing. Then use just 4 casters instead of 6.
I did just that. Built a small "trolley" with sides to hold the end cabinet. Sits at the same height as the 5 drawer cabinet. Works great and you don't have to haul all that weight around.
@@BringItMuscleCars if you do end up building a frame, be sure to film it. I'd love to see what design you come up with!
Can you do a follow up video after some use, I love the idea but I'm concerned it will be to heavy and it will fall over with out the added Jack holder to counter balance, also did you look at possibly adding casters to the end cabinet
Andres Apodaca I thought about adding casters to the end cabinet. Shouldn’t be to hard. Adding the jack holder was to help balance the cart out and to make it a easy place to keep. I’ll definitely do a follow up once it’s fully loaded and I’ve been using it.
Measure the gap to ground put a set of swivel casters on bottom of side box
Mark Wilson I probably will once I get some weight in it and it needs it.
@@BringItMuscleCars 4in. 330lbs. Solid rubber locking Swivel casters are what will fit and hold the weight easily...they are almost dead on to what U.S. General uses stock on there carts and cabinets
@@BringItMuscleCars Have you made a new video yet?
Great mods for a mobile cart. I'm not into cars or a mechanic by trade but i will be getting this cart for regular fixit things (Harley etc.) in my home garage. Enjoyed this video!
Thanks for the kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching and commenting.
thanks for doing a video on adding the side cabinet some of the guys at my work and I have been thinking about doing this. Please do a follow up video after use to let us know if it is too much weight we have to move our carts around in a factory.
joshua hall I can do that. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support.
It's too much rolling around a factory. Unless you reinforce it really well the bolts will start to try to pull out of it mainly it seems to be the expansion joints they put in the floor. I've seen it happen on at least 3 of them now. Unless it just sits in one spot I'd suggest skipping adding any big locker or drawers on the end.
If you still have to do it, IMHO best thing to do is get some angle iron and build a frame for it to sit on. Then move the casters out to all 4 corners.
Great video
Looks like I will be trying this out
Thanks
Pheanele Hamm-Brown thanks for watching. I hope it helps make the process easier for you.
Thanks for the video I have been planning on getting one for my motorcycle project
Bjorn Raido you’re welcome. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support.
Where did you source the floor jack holder? Nice Job on the tool cart
Switch to the blue caster wheels they sell. They hold more weight and last longer.
TheTyrial86 I have two blue ones so all four are swivel casters now.
nice I have pretty much the same cart and side cabinet I was thinking of putting them together like you did
Hammerdown Motorsports I like it but if it wasn’t going in the trailer I’d have bought a tool box for a bit more money. Way more storage for the money.
Why didn’t u just use the grinder u mentioned to make the cuts? Guess I’m a little confused on that whole deal
Travis Gustin I went to get my grinder. Someone borrowed it and didn’t put it back. I had to use what I had available.
Bring It Muscle Cars nothing worse than that!
Travis Gustin true. Everyone was like it wasn’t me. I didn’t know you had one. Yeah okay.
@@BringItMuscleCars I would rather loan out my dog than loan out my tools. At least my dog knows how to find her way back home.
PaganWizard very true. I had to start locking my boxes at our shop because a lot of tools have walked away.
I really like what you did. I’ve been wanting the 44 inch series 2 and hang my floor jack on it.
Ole Roy I think have the jack on it makes it nice. I’m actually surprised I haven’t seen more with it done.
@@BringItMuscleCars Where did you buy the Jack holder? any links?
RayJedi I got it from summit racing or amazon last year.
Just stumbled upon this for new ideas and it was good stuff! Also the Red green show ref was a nice touch!
Sheer determination while using metal shears 😂
Thanks for the funny video the guys at my shop will definitely get a laugh out of this one
I just picked up the 4 drawer harbor Freight Roll cart in blue today. I plan on doing mods and stuff to it. So i like these videos for ideas. Walking back and forth to my box gets annoying so now I can put my most used tools in the cart and have it right next to me.
tj blomberg I like the blue a lot. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with your box.
This is a good idea. Thanks for posting this. You talked about the color of your jack stands. How about painting your floor jack and jack holder to match everything else?
William Waugh I’m actually just going to get the green jack from Harbor Freight. I think the texture of the jack holder won’t take paint very well. Thanks for watching. I appreciate the support.
I LIKE IT!!! Good job, guys! 👍
Dave Howard thanks for the support.
I cutdown a ratchet strap to hold my jack in place. 1/8” thick plate the width of the strap painted to match the cart.
I love it! Brilliant mod! This vid got ya a like & a new sub. Glad to be aboard!
Dirtlifer thank you very much. I really do appreciate the support.
This is awesome I was thinking the car is really good but I was afraid it might be just a little bit too small for some of my tools so adding this extra cabinet is a great idea you showed it really well what I found one for mine whenever I get as I want to change it over to pneumatic off-road tires for the cart and what I'll do is add two more tires to the side box that way it's six wheels instead of four and that will help out with the tippiness because I don't need the jack holder on mine or I could go real crazy and add two side boxes one on each side
I think if you can weld adding a frame to the bottom and moving the casters as far out as possible would be really good.
Hello. Thank you for the informational video. What bolt size did you use to mount the floor jack holder?
Thanks red green 👍
Billy Hill thanks for watching it all of the way through.
Your still need the magnetic paper towel holder and magnetic latex glove holder
Michael Mincey you aren’t wrong about needing those. I’ll probably end up with them.
I built my paper towel holder . Just bought a plastic paper towel holder at Wally world and gorilla glued two magnets into it ! I enjoy building the things I need more than buying em .
@@bobbystacey5360 Yeah but then it's not color matched lol
You misspelled "Bitch Mitten Holder"
😁
The screwdriver tray would be great with extra holes drilled as you stated to hold T handle hex wrenches.
GREAT video. Did the same thing with my tool cart. An electric or air powered cut off wheel makes the necessary cuts easier and quicker in my experience.
Would you mind to give us the name of the paint color you used ? Not perfect, but best color match I have seen
Mark Bell i couldn’t find my little cut off saw. That would have definitely made it easier. I’ll take a look at the paint next time I’m at the shop and let you know. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Cutting that cart would have been a smooth snap with a dremmel. Done it a few times.
Here's a regular "I own a dremmel and everything is easy with it" guy. I was like "oh I can use my angle grinder" lmao
1000000000000000 percent AWESOME !!!!
Team Ruiz thank you. I really appreciate the support
What magnets are you using to hold your wrenches on the lid ?
Very cool setup
BADD400 CB700 drums thank you. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Very nice job...im an HFT employee and I think most of The day how to mod almost everything in the store...did you try rubber wheel chock in The jack holder to stop the bounce?..they are always handy to have around
Kenneth Burns that’s a great idea and easier then a strap. Thanks for the idea. I appreciate the support.
@@BringItMuscleCars ...not to mention there's a coupon in play for those wheel chock for $4.99 each up to 4 per purchase until 4/19/20
Kenneth Burns even better thanks.
Kenneth Burns 👍 and you can use the chock(s) for increased safety when using the jack to get the vehicle up on the jack stands. Parking brake or having transmission in gear works when lifting the front end with rear wheels on the ground, but chocks needed for the front tires (which have no parking brake) when lifting up the rear end.
I’ve done this with my harbor freight box just didn’t put the jack on it lol. But once it’s filled up it gets pretty heavy to push around to add a jack that’s gotta get heavy. And idk about lifting the jack up and down after a few times I’d just leave it off.
Mattterson34 !! For me having the jack on there is just storage. I keep my cart in the car trailer. This allows me to have a spot for it and take up the least amount of space
That was a great idea. Love it
Thank you.
This is genius!
Thanks
Awesome video---great mod---been looking at the side storage too! One thing that is bugging me: hit those cut corners with a little paint. I bet someone has the color listed of exact match. I got blue and someone had listed the exact color match for it----Rust-Oleum Painters Touch 2x Ultracover DEEP BLUE GLOSS. Almost identical.
I wasn’t really worried about the doing that but I do have some more custom stuff coming to the box so I could do it then. Thanks for the paint recommendation.
Nice work sir
Martin Schaffmeir thank you. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support.
If you make the fronts flush with each other, it only takes 2 little slits with a cutoff to make the side box work, one at the back of the lid and one on the box.
You could also add a caster to the bottom of you addon box if it still gets too heavy. Or if you need the jack.
Michael Cotten I had thought about that. I wanted to wait and see if I was going to need them first. I’ll probably end up with them once I load it all up.
be trick if you could get onto a carla cargo type trailers, but retro fit for your tool box. They run around with giant fed ex deliveries in NYC. Narrow low profile trailer goes on back of an e-bike or anything with ball hitch (I pull something similar I made with my mower around property to bring tools to machines. Could drive that baby right over to the car out on the track ;-). Thanks for sharing.
Great ideal! I believe I would have put the work bench (tray) on the side of the ad on
HOLLERBRED KENNELS thank you. I agree I should have put the tray on.
Great mods! Is that jack pouch made by “clear one?” (Tc132) I was thinking of bending one up using galvi, but I like the black look vs painting it and scratching it all up using it. Thanks for taking us along!
I’m not sure who made it. It’s actually plastic. If you could bend your own that wouldn’t be bad. It would have to be a lot cheaper than buying a SS one.
What magnetics are those that are holding your ratcheting wrenches?
I’ve seen several videos, where guys put the side boxes on their rolling carts. Maybe HF will change the side or make a different size, so they’ll fit without modifying
That would be nice if they did that.
Flip the handle upside down so it’s flush with the top. What brand, color and where did you get the paint? I like the additional holes in the screwdriver tray idea. Pretty sure that bad boy is over the weight limit. Hope it works out -thanks for the video.
I know definitely your box is totally awesome and so Kool keep up the amazing jobs guys
Thanks man. Much appreciated.
Love the Red Green shout out at the end.
Thank you.
Awesome video! I have looked thru all the comments & may have missed it but where did you get the jack stand holder from? Thanks again for the great video - in edit I finally found the comment that it came from summit
Brian Higginbotham thanks for watching. I got it from summit racing.
I picked up the 4 drow and then added a side tool box on both sides then l put on bigger wheels. Works great. Then found a 9 drew top box, took the lead off it fitted in the bottom.
Matt Swearingen that’s a lot of box at that point. Why didn’t you just get one of there boxes. It might have been cheaper.
Well I already have a Craftsman bottom and top box but I like this set up.
Matt Swearingen makes sense then.
*Hey man I just subscribed I have the EXACT Same box and would LOVE to do this as a add on, because I don’t want to buy a full size tool box just yet, I look forward to seeing the Review and maybe adding the casters under the End cabinet? Hopefully you show us step by step how to do it because I NEED This in my life haha my box is getting a little cramped!!*
IDABAYAREA650I thanks man. I definitely have more in store for the box. I’m going to do casters on the cabinet.
Bring It Muscle Cars *hell yeah! And maybe if you can give us Step by step Details like the Caster sizes and where to bolt where or make holes and so on and so on! , I’m sure I’m asking from a lot of other people too!*
Is all that holds the side cabinet on the top lip hanging on the toolbox? No bolts tying them together?
Scot Webb yes. You could bolt it to the side of the cart though. There is holes to do that.
Anyone know if that side shelf with fit the snap on krsc46?
What is the part # for the black jack holder? Any I find online are either silver, or made out of plastic.
That one is made out of plastic. I got it from Amazon or SummitRacing
I like the idea of to Jack holder where did you pick it up at?
Johnny 155 I got it from Summit Racing. It worked out great. I’m glad you liked that idea.
Great job! Cannot find that Jack holder on Summit Tools, any chance you could link it?
if you mounted the side box flush to the front the power strip could be put on the back unless you need to set the tool box flat to a wall idk just thinkin
I actually built this to go in my car trailer. So I wanted it to sit flush against the wall. Otherwise I would have flushed the front. If you did that then mount the power strip in the back. You could drill a hole to run the cables through to charge stuff with the lid down.
I would recommend using nut rivets and bolts to anchor the bottom of the side box to the main cart, also to attach any other accessory's to the side of the side box.
William Johnson that’s a good recommendation.
Hows the balance on the cart pushing sir thanks
I did the same for mine but I then drilled 4 holes into it and remounted my folding tray to the side cabinet...then I took the magnetic paper towel holder and stuck it to the tray.... now then you’ll have the ultimate tool cart
y0gisdad I can’t disagree with that. I should have added it back on.
@@BringItMuscleCars might want to also secure the bottom of the chest to the cart
Charles Martin I’ll probably end up doing that. For the most part the cart will be stationary in my trailer.
Could you put castes on the end box
Where did you get the jack holder? I love that idea! Looks great hope its held up. Thanks
Amazon or summit racing. It’s held up great.
Good idea for DIYERS
The One thank you. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great, I will be doing the same thing but I cannot find the jack holder? Where did you get it?
Thanks
I bought it from amazon or summit racing. both had them.
Where did you get the Tray (you called it the brake cleaner tray) you added the magnets to from? I don't see it on HF site. Need one for my cabinet
It was actually attached to the cart. I took it off when I added side cabinet and Jack holder.
Can you also re-use the side shelf on the new add on shelf ?
Ive send people mount it to the side of the box.
I put the same side cabinet on my us general cart. I have mine so it’s flush at the front. I plan on adding casters to the underside of the end cabinet. I have a walk around video of it on my channel. 👍
I’ve actually watched your video a few times.
Nice. I have the orange one.
adam vera I wanted orange but they were out of that color.
What is that matching green spray paint?
Maybe you answered this already, but where did you get the jack holder??? I’m going to want to do the same with mine, being it will be my mobile setup.
Amazon or SummitRacing
What magnetic rail did you use for the wrenches on your list?
They were from Lowe’s. They are kobalt brand.
I think you have the jack stands that are recalled. Guess you'll need to paint the replacements too. LOL. Great video😁
Ron Dunn I think you’re right. Oh course I paint them and took the sticker off. I’m out of luck now. 🤦♂️
@@BringItMuscleCars you may reach out to hft customer service. They maybe able to help, maybe...

Casters on the end box to support it when it’s full of tools?
Did you bolt the cabinet on any other way besides just hanging it by the top lip? I think I missed that part and didn't see you drill anything into the insides before the drawers were put back in.
Scottie Manners I just hung it on the side. Without it being loaded up I don’t see the need to bolt it down. Once I load it up it might be different
How end heavy is the cabinet after it is full? Do you actually have to compensate for the weight of tools in the cabinet? Like making sure you only put light stuff on the top/ect
It’s okay when it’s fully loaded as long as the rest of the box is full. It is tippy when pushing it around. I haven’t tipped it over yet though.
Good to know! “Havent tipped it yet” is good enough for me Thanks! I may just caster wheel the add on cart- use it as an electrical cart or something!
@@Superfly816 I think a lot of people put a set of casters on the cabinet. I was going to build a frame. I still might I just haven’t had time.
If I ever need more space on my matco cart I might just run this first lol. If It doesn't work I'll just repurpose it for my hf tool cart at home
I like your quest to build the best tool cart, and I understand why you chose to add the "end cabinet"(because you needed more tool storage while maintaining a compact footprint in your trailer)... Although, it may just be better and more cost effective to get a whole additional tool cart instead. Maybe one for SAE and one for METRIC; or one for SOCKETS and one for WRENCHES... Or just spend the $400ish upfront on a suitable sized box and then do your upgrades on that and have plenty "room to grow"... While maybe not practical, it was entertaining to watch and cool to see all the possibilities of what could be possible...
Spectt thanks for watching and the support. I would definitely agree that a box would make more sense for most part. For me I like the cart because I can store the jack stands and some other bigger items on the bottom. The end cabinet isn’t great. It’s narrow so arranging certain tools it tough. We will see how it works out this season. Two carts would work well for me.
Did you do the swivel castor mod so they all movie easy?
ClientGraphics I did do the swivel caster mod. I really like that mod. I watch your videos. I really like them. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@BringItMuscleCars with this mod please support the chest otherwise you will have to replace your whole cart
Adding the end cabinet to my red one, have the end cabinet on order coming in on the 19th.My local Harbor Freight didn't have it in stock, the red end cabinet
Walter Frederick that happened to me. I had to wait almost two weeks for it to come in. I was surprised it took that long. It was worth the wait
I was in no rush for it,already paid for it.Plan to put flush in the front
Walter Frederick the flush front definitely looks cleaner in my opinion.
Well, I suppose if it works for you, then it works. Do you know the weight capacity of the casters? I'm thinking that as you fill the add-on cabinet, your total cart might reach their limit. A bigger tool chest is going to be more robust. You could upgrade the casters as an alternative. In any case, monitoring the casters might be a good idea.
Looks great, only question I have is … did you bolt it to the main box or just let it hang?
Just let it hang
is there a link to that jack holder?

@@BringItMuscleCars sorry about the late reply.....I am in Barrie, Ontario......thx for replying
Wow...Disco Stu called and wants his Mustang back. Derp.
the series 1 cart/7 drawer cabinet worked better for this IMO. instead of it hanging off the front or back, it was about 2 inches shy in the back, which i used to make a space for my creeper to hang on a custom 18 gauge steel bracket coated with plastidip. i put the handle and can holder on the same side on the left, the 7 drawer on the right, creeper hook behind the 7 drawer, and the folding table to the right of the cabinet. everything mounted with matching carriage bolts, locknuts, and red loctite. 2 of the HF magnetic strips are bolted center on the lid, for pliers, cutters, nippers, drill bits, whatever. i upgraded the hood struts to ones off of a jeep cherokee back hatch, they hold 65 lbs a piece so i hang whatever i want on that lid. i also used an old ford fuel filter hanger and some air hose scraps as a drill holder mounted to the bolts of the top left of the cart body. this was before the boom in bluetooth speakers, so i wired up some battery operated ones for tunes too. got the magnetic glove holder right behind the cans on the left of the box where there's dead space under the shorter screwdrivers in the sides. i also stacked a couple 2x6" under the cabinet and added 2 more swivel casters. you had to do that because the bottom of the cabinet is recessed. works great. better than 7 years old now and it hasn't failed me once.
koolBOY8323 thanks for sharing. That’s a great idea with the creeper.
Just picked up one of these carts for racing superbikes. My cart will be travel to the race track in a trailer. You mentioned that yours travels in a trailer. How do you strap your cart down in the trailer? I assume you use ratchet straps, but how do you strap it in. With my current cart, I use “D” hooks on the floor and strap the hooks around the square steel tube of the Bluepoint cart frame. The HF cart frame doesn’t seem sturdy enough to handle being hooked and strapped. I was thinking of doing E-track on the trailer wall and strapping around the cart to the wall. Just wondering what solution you came up with. Thanks in advance. JohnV.
I have two D rings on the wall I strap it to. It runs across the drawer and I have to slide the strap up and down. I haven’t had a problem with it moving or loosing up.
@@BringItMuscleCars Thank you for the reply. Do you still do that even with the extra add on box that hangs from the right side of the cart side? I guess the bumper guards, placed properly, can serve as a protector from any rash caused by the straps going across the front of the cart. JohnV.
@@gecko6952 I still do. The strap did wear some of the paint though. It’s not the best layout overall because it’s a lot harder to load and unload from the trailer.
Harbor Freight could sell pre primed jack stands and the matching spray paint for all of their tool box colors.
William Brady is be okay with that that.
Just wondering why you choose to keep the side box to the front as apposed to keeping the front flush with the front of the cart. good job though.
What about adding the tool tray to the other side, and making it flip up on top of the lid of the cart. Then you can still use the pull handle, and have the cart tray work surface. Drop the handle lower, and install a flip hinge, and braces? Just thinking in my head
That probably would have worked.
What paint did you use I couldn’t find anything that matched any help would be appreciated thanks
RAL 6018 green powder coat is a perfect match if you can powder coat!
outdoorzone thanks
Pete Thiel one other tip is you can take some of that dry powder and mix with MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) and it will turn the powder into a liquid and you can touch up the bare metal where it’s cut and then use a heat gun to cure it.
nice video
Trap Drip thank you very much. I appreciate you watching and commenting.
Has anyone tried to put the end cabinet on the side of the new Full bank box? Wondering if it would fit.
I think it fits but they are different sizes.
Where you snag that Jack holder?
This is my first time watching your channel. I'm wondering with the type of work you do, the bada$$ Pony in the back ground that you would even bother with HF. I see you have Kobalt and Husky as well. I'm not judging at all. I think that is genius how you set that up. It obviously wouldn't take a genius to figure that the cabinet will need casters. That's a given, I wonder if the structure of the cart it's self will be able to with stand the weight of all the tools. Sitting in one place would be okay but once it goes into motion, weight shifting, if that maybe cause a big issue? Definitely liked your video!
dmckimmey1 cheaper tools work nearly as good as really expensive ones. I need to save money on the tools to help mod the Shelby. Only so much to around. Why spend $100 on a tool when a $20 tool works just as well. That’s enough to buy race gas and a hotdog at the track. The cabinet may need wheels. For the most part it’s strapped into the car trailer.
@@BringItMuscleCars I'm the same way with my tools. My cart and most of my sockets, ratchets, my jack and stands, etc are all harbor freight. But anything powered such as my 18v/12v impacts, drivers, electric ratchets are all milwakee.
Shan s I have a Milwaukee ratchet which is awesome. Then my 1/2” impact is Kobalt. That thing has been a beast. No complaints on that. I’ve never used the harbor freight electric tools. Not sure I will at this point.
@@BringItMuscleCars the only thing electric I have from them is the plug in angle grinder which I've had for years and works fine. A close friend of mine started using their new cordless 1/2" impact recently and it's been good to him. However it is larger and not as powerful as my milwakee mid torque. I've had to come break a few crank pulley bolts for him.
Shan s my bet in a year or two they will be much better on all of the cordless power tools.
