I just love your Grandma, my great grandma told me stories if when All Capone's gang came through her building in New York and shot the place up. Cobble streets in New York City. The older generation has the best stories.

Please have her and Ginga tell more stories about the olden days.. I can't even imagine how sad that was for that lil girls family to deal with. One day she skinned her knee, waded in that water and 6days later she gone ! 😢 So horrible . She must have gotten sepsis. Love from AZ Gramma !❤❤❤

I'm surprised more of the kids didn't catch hepatitis, staph infection, respiratory issues and the list is endless, ...Sadly kids don't understand. What a tragedy about the little girl. Thanks for your stories Gramma💕

Isn't it crazy how they remember things 80-90 years ago and can't remember what they had for breakfast! My mother(90) could tell me stories about when she was little like it just happened.

A little girl must have died from sepsis. Having an open wound and then having sewage enter into that would probably cause some sort of septicemia which can kill you extremely quickly if you aren't treated with antibiotics immediately. That's why most people with diverticulitis when they have a perforation of the colon end up dying if they don't get immediate treatment for it. Very sad story grandma

I am sure she has seen and gone through her share of sorrows, which makes the stories of laughter she tell even more glorious!!!!
Thank you guys so much for sharing stories from a very wise woman!!
To imagine the memories you will have someday to look back on from your gramma and aunt Ginga's story telling is simply amazing!!

I'm 62 my Mom passed away in 2000 & she was born in 1918. Gramma reminds me so much of her. I cant get over how she had the same story of a little girl in her first grade class who died and she along with 6 of her little classmates all dressed in white dresses and had to carry the coffin, I think I have the photo some where, I can't believe how alike they are in regards to their stories and personalities. I just Love Gramma and Ginga❣
