Thank you, Apple, for finally listening. I went from a 2018 model back to a 2015 model because I could not live with the keyboard. And I did not even have a faulty one - it was just a matter of the ergonomics. I could not feel my way around it, it felt terrible to type on, could never find the esc key and git the touch id by accident all of the time. The external magic keyboards are great in my opinion, so I'm having my hopes up for this.

Often times the greatest progress is to aknowledge when something "new" is not working better than the "old", and scrapping it.
Always best to design "new" from something old that works than something that doesn't.

As a musician I need to have the play/pause button displayed always so I set the Touch Bar to show the original keys. I’ve done this on every MPB they’ve released with the TB and with normal use it always fails to work 5/10% of the time. Not to mention other functions getting stuck or not working sometimes either

One interesting bit about the screen - the specs page now says it officially supports different refresh rates - including all of the common "video" refresh rates. "Refresh rates: 47.95Hz, 48.00Hz, 50.00Hz, 59.94Hz, 60.00Hz" - so double "NTSC 24 fps", double _actual_ 24 fps, double NTSC 29.97 fps, plus double PAL 25 fps.
I'm kind of surprised they didn't go for Dolby Vision certification. (The specs do say it supports Dolby Atmos playback!)

Yes, the only reason to buy one is want/need MacOS. You have to decide which OS is suitable for your needs and then decide hardware. If you are windows user and blindly buying Mac for its polished hardware then you are going to get disappointed, coz it will not fit for your expected windows use cases.
