@@Sorter_123 Sure, I will. I can't say what exact aesthetics appeal to me, and I know it's probably not common, but I think scars generally add tremendous character to a person's face like nothing else does, and I just thought it was worth mentioning because nobody ever says it. I really do mean it personally when I say it's attractive, in men because they look tough, and in women because they look mature, refined, even sophisticated in contrast to their frailty. It's beautiful. The woman in this vid looks great either way, but if I had to pick one I'd rather see, I would seriously pick the scar, even though it's minimal. It just adds more interesting detail.

Omgosh I completely agree with how your feeling. It is really hard to stay positive when obsessing about a facial scar. I've spent so much money and time with experimenting with makeup and how to cover it. I get depressed over it. I plan on scar extraction surgery. Ive been insecure about my scar for 13 years. Thank you for making these videos. I've never related to someone so much!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your tips and tell your story. You look so beautiful and for such a tragedy that happened to you, it is not even noticeable, even without makeup...when u have makeup on, it is not even seen at all!!! All of your 'tips' are excellent, and very important, and I cannot thank you enough... I took notes! (I am soon to have the 'Mohs Surgery' for a basal cell carcinoma/ a type of skin cancer spot on my face...it is a small spot, but the location is horrible, just to the side of the Cupid's Bow...right under my right nostril , and just above my upper lip is the spot; so tears or a runny nose cause any liquid to go directly to the spot, which has had me obsess even more; about if crying will make the scar heal worse...I cry a lot, so it is a concern.. My surgery is scheduled to be in 3 weeks now, on 6/9, the same day my Mom passed away! I have put the surgery off for way too long, about 3.5 years.. the pandemic had a lot of the Surgeons' offices closed, (I was hoping the spot would just 'disappear' but bcc unfortunately does not go away w/out surgery. I get just SO emotional every time I think about the surgery and the healing process; and I tend to really obsess on it and have been in a deep depression for 3.5 yrs since the diagnosis.) I know deep down inside it has to be done, and I have to be strong, like you! I took it as a good sign that the date is that day, that my Mom will def be there w me in Spirit. Your Extremely Strong will and Positive Outlook is so inspiring and powerful to me, thank you again...much love to you:)))

So thorough thank you. My son was burned with a jumbo marshmallow my husband put cold water on it which spread it i washed it twice a day with liquid antibacterial dial using gentle pattin motion and squeezing white wash closth of water over it to rinse then putting aquaphor on it then covering it with 4x4 dressings in the day and repeating whole thing at night except leaving 4x4 dressings off so it can breath. Nighttime they are sleeping so less dirt can get in than in the daytime. You cant even tell now unless you stick your head real close to it. Aquaphor is a miracle on burns. ♡ thank u once again. Im going to get the scarguard because not even aquaphor helped my small burn on my face. 😕

I was bit by a dog in the face when entering my friend's house about two weeks ago (I wasn't messing with the dog, it's a Great Dane so I didn't even have to stoop down near him for it to happen). Luckily I wasn't structurally deformed by the attack, but there are two large scars forming on my face now. They told me that they couldn't sew it up as tightly as normal because of the risk of infection because it is an animal bite. Needless to say, I'm not digging it at all. I'm actually getting ready to go buy some silicone sheets right now and that's why I'm watching.Thank you for posting your story and information. Face scars suck.
EDIT: I would also recommend that you look into silicone scar sheets. Everything I've seen so far claims that they work better, and a former plastic surgeon assistant working at the hospital referenced them for me. It takes quite a long time for a scar to completely heal, so it may be an idea if you aren't happy with the gel and don't feel like paying for plastic surgery just yet. Honestly though, you're beautiful with or without that scar.

Thanks for the info. Aloe vera is great in many ways. Also Keloplast scar has uv protection in it and also soothes. I don't recommend essential oils especially lavender. They might cause allergy such as rash and blisters after which more stress ensue. I had to get over both the scar and allergy blisters at the same time. Always see the directions and doses of the product you are using, overloading with scar treatments might backfire. That was the lesson I learned. Also, more the stress the slower the healing process. Just stick to the best treatment and be calm. 😉

I use to work for Sony Music and had a similar accident at work. A piece of wood cut my forehead, it was pretty deep and painful. Luckily the Sony nurse sent me to a plastic surgeon on Madison Ave....btw, it was Gloria Estefan surgeons and I freaking love Her! He had her Gold records on the wall and I was fascinated by it all, lol. Anyway, that mans skill was Amazing! Get peroxide to clean the cut and put the cream directly on the cut and place a bandaid on it, but if it's larger get a bigger bandage. It can be a pretty big cut and it still works. Back in November, 2018, I also had a work-related injury. A metal scalfolding bar fell and struck me in between my forehead and my scalp. The blood was literally squirting out of my head. It looked like a murder scene. Luckily, it didn't penetrate my skull. The wound was so deep they had to cotterize the wound because it would not stop bleeding when they were putting the stitches in. I had to get internal stitches and external. 13 in all. I also let it heal on its own, but now I have this crease in my head that measures about 2 inches, and it is annoying to see. There are no stitch marks, because the doctor that stitched it had 20 years experience and did a good job. It isn't even pink or red, compared to the rest of my skin color. It just looks like a permanent wrinkle. I guess I got lucky. Could have been worse. I know how annoying it can be when you want to look a certain way. With your makeup, I didn't even see it until you rubbed it off. Lucky for you it didn't cut your eyeball. Someone was looking out for you that day, because it came close to eye.
