Your perseverance is so special. I recently was injured on my forehead two months ago and my scar is not nearly as large as yours was!! I have been through all the motions and sometimes daily. I do now we can be our own worst critic. I deal with other skin issues and found the best for an olive skin girl like me is red light and micro-needling, triamcinolone right after with Benadryl topical. The micro helps even the texture and color tone. I stay away from most lasers but one. YAG laser hair removal for skin that tans easily.

To be honest..I did an intense search on internet for Scar removal n came to know about laser ..scar removal.. chemical peel etc. However your video has given a 100 percent confidence n high hope. One of my friend met an accident 2 weeks ago n had around 12 stitches on her forehead. Will surely advise her to follow as per your video. My toddler got a similar scar on his cheek from another child scratching him quite profoundly.
Since then, I am in depression as responsible to my sweetheart.
These things happen, it's okay! I also have a scar on my forehead from when I was a kid and I'm not mad at the people that took care of me :)
I also have this problem 1month later my Stepmom starched me on my cheek and I m soo depressed I m using also Vera gel and one medicated cream by doctor

I am so happy and inspired by you! It’ll be a year soon since I was in a motorcycle accident and had to get stitches on my nose. Needless to say I’ve been depressed for the longest time. After using scar gels, creams and microneedling I feel like it’s getting better but I just wish it would go away... at least like yours did. I was in Hawaii and got swallowed up by a wave and ripped my nose as well, didn't do stitches but the scar is like there...its been 4 months and the scar is there it healed weirdly, but I'm gonna buy this product and I'll let you know...the one that I used till now and it's helped is scaraway from Walmart. I used a combination between applying the roller and the patches...with the roller after I put enough of the silicon I put a bandaid tightly over it. This has definitely helped smooth it out and get lighter. But got longways to go 😞 I had it cause it's there and can't do anything, and I'm a dude. So I can identify with you. O when I got swallowed by the wave it pushed me to the ocean floor where the lava rock cut my face up but badly my nose.

@@DDabie its been 1 yr now. Im so happy now. The scar is there but you have to come close to see it. Unfortunately my skin is brown the scar looks like a white line. If i had white skin, the scar would be invisible now. How did you get yours?
I have one on my forehead now too.. I cracked my head against a kitchen cabinet emptying my dishwasher (sharp edge) 😂. So frustrating.. it’s been 2 months for me :( still there
I also have a forehead scar which I got 5 months ago. I hope it heals. I'm literally on antidepressants because of it.

Mam, scar had been removed by surgery but the stitching areas are not improving I have been using contractubex gel for 2.5 months but no results is being seen please suggest me proper ointment so that a fine line can come

I have a scar on the bridge of my nose I’ve been putting mederma on it for 2 weeks or so it’s healing nice but it’s raised I’m worried it will stay this way bc even with makeup you can see it Does anyone have any advice

Hey Jeanette! Did you get stitched or glued? I am currently on day 9 and i was glued. I got recommended to use micropore 3m, which should be sitting on top of the scar for the first 3 month - have you heard about that plaster? How fast after the injury that happened to you did you apply the scarguard and did you wait for the scab to fall off naturally before applying any products to the scar. I hope you want to take time to answer me. Your scar have seemed to heal up pretty good!

😊I fell on my knees to the ground while jogging so it gave my 2 knees really huge scar, the scabs are just gone, thr scar is flat, shiny and reddish, like it peeled my brown skin..would this guard help to make the color even? I wish I can send a photo here so u can see

I just had a sebaceous cyst surgery on my cheek 14th August,2022.I was very upset after this surgery & frustrated about the horrible scar.I was searching how to fade surgery scar videos on UA-cam & found your video.Now I am trying to convince myself & making my mind confident.I have to be brave.Thanks a lot for you recovery videos. ❤️
I had a mole removed 2 weeks ago and the fresh scar looks more noticeable than the mole BUT I realized that it's too fresh. We also tend to hyperfocus on scars or dark spots and no one else really cares. It just takes time honestly and eventually these things fade. We have to give our skin more credit.
Hi, how does your scar looks like right now? I had a soft tissue removal/cyst surgery on my cheek too, two months ago. The scar looks so much visible. I don't know when it will heal😭

Do you recommend putting a silicone sheet on top when you apply the scarguard would appreciate your advise?
I don't think that would be necessary since the scarguard should keep your scar moisturized on its own, but then again I never tried your method!

@@sham-33 it's been 10 months now, and I must say, the scar has faded a lot. Under certain light conditions, it looks slightly and unnoticeably pink. I guess, maybe a year or two later, it will be much thinner and skin colored.

I have a scar from such a super tiny cut compared to your on my nose. It barely even bled. And I really want to try and get rid of it lol. It bothers me a lot. More than it probably should. But yeah...hope I have your levels of success with mine.

Hi there, thank you so much for this video, you have given me hope. Almost 2 months ago, a girl decided to push me on the basketball court and in the moment to protect my face, I scraped my face. I landed with a small deep cut on the left side of my chin and a few grazes. I was so thankful that it wasn't worse but the emotions still bottled up inside me as I never asked for the outcome. It was deliberately done, and was the day of school photos which was her hope (luckily I had taken the photo the period earlier). Safe to say, it is healing quite nicely and is becoming barely noticeable. Up close there is a slightly raised pink scar and new skin seems to be forming. For anyone who has experienced something similar, how long does it take to fully heal without stitches? I have been applying sunscreen and aloe vera but I am desperate for it to go back to normal. Thank you 😊

@@sham-33 Hi there, it has been 11 months since the incident and the mark has completely gone with no trace. It happened in Feb last year and by that August had completely gone. No need for specific creams etc. I applied sunscreen so the skin would even out. Just keep it natural and let the body work its magic!!

Hola Jeanette, he visto tus videos de como fue El proceso de la recuperacion de cicatris. Porfavor ayudame con las dudas que tengo. Aun no lo he decidido pero ya El cirujano vio mi cicatris y me a recomendado hacer una cicatris nueva. Otro cirujano me recomendo hacer un relleno de grasa en la cicatris y laser.
Mi condicion es. Tengo cicatris en ambas mejias son grandes y muy finitas .
Que paso? Cuando tenia 6 años me ataco un perro Sera como en El año 1997 me hicieron una cirujia plastica agradesco que no quedo mal porque para eses años no estaria como ahora la medicina, tengo ya 25 años con este problema ya que es en rostro es muy importante para mi mejorar la visivilidad. Tengo miedo hacer una nueva cicatris que Vuelva a quedar en la misma situacion o mejorar solo poco , muy aparte de eso es costoso.
Por otro lado fat transfer realise the car ,y laser, digo Sera que me ayude mucho cuando la cicatris es ya muy old.

I have some questions if you could please answer. Do you have dry or oily skin on where your scar was? And was the liquid drying on the area or hydrating? Also does it wash off easily? I have dry skin and my scar is on the back of my palm so I will have to wash it.
My skin is on the oilier side so that may have helped in the healing process. And yes I imagine if you wash your hands, you would have to reapply

just wondering if you were able to still tan while the scar while was healing at least in the first year? and if so how? I just got a new scar on my face and I have been wearing sunscreen while outside or at the beach but im not sure if I will do permanent damage to my scar even with the sunscreen from being in the sun?
I did my best to avoid the sun directly all that summer since my incident happened end of May. I had one boat day with sunscreen on and thankfully it didn’t set me back

How many times did you apply the product after the first three months? Was it still 2x per day?
I stopped after 3 months because it had already flattened out, so I continued using sunscreen under my makeup everyday to this day.

it took almost 2 years! it was pinkish-red for about a year then it slowly faded

hey good evening, just wanna start off with saying that i just got a scar at the end of december. on my face, by my left eye, under my left eye, like u said its verry scarring. i literally have been thinking like the rest of my life is done, over but looking at your video, i mean u put my hopes up so much. i realized that my scar is brand new and im have my hopes very high now so thank u for your video. right now my scar is the way u explained it before, its pinkish right now. the lenght of my scar is about half of yours with 8 stiches on it. i know u got butterfly stiches, i didn't, will my scar fully heal with those stitches on? also my scar feels a little lifted, so please if you can give me a little insight and advice, thank you so much and i am very happy for u. thank u.
Yikes, I hope you're taking this time to heal and relax. My scar was also pink and lifted like you said. It took some time but I can honestly say the scarguard helped because it flattened the scar in about 3 months. Aside from that, using sunscreen helped so it wouldn't get any redder/darker. It's gonna be okay! Keep your head up.
Richard it is nice to read your comment because I was just like you and got a new scar under my left eye in December as well. Ive been having a tough time with it too. If you want to connect somehow and talk to someone with the same experience I would be more than happy to talk.

After the 3 months I continued using moisturizer with SPF and I used concealer.

In the original video, you mentioned laser treatment, did you have any treatment or anything else other than using scarguard?
No I wanted to give it the full 2 years to heal on its own then I’d decide...as of now I don’t have plans for laser treatments
@@jeanettereyes I've had scar revision last month from an injury on my forehead, the new scar is still purple and depressed. I've been told to wait of course, but looking into things that can help speed things up, fingers crossed it'll be like yours.
@@dcikaruga oh no, hopefully it’s one of those things where it gets worse before it gets better. Hats & sunscreen also helped me a ton!
@@jeanettereyes My cut was very deep, almost down to the bone, and it left me with a dent. Been looking into ways they can smooth the surface for me, but not much out there on-line.
@@dcikaruga Laser can cause redness (like CO2 laser) , wait for few months. if redness did not fade, use the Pulsed dye laser.
