I have a 2-year-old son at home. When he was a small baby, I would rock him to sleep with music from Skyrim.
I have tried many songs at this age as a lullaby.
This is his favorite, and its not close.
He asks for 'Malukah! Dragons!' before bed.

@@novern4925 He doesn't. The reality might just stop existing at some point because he's not there to end the timeline properly. Dovahkiin basically just ruins everything for everyone by killing it.
@@sergiuszandewagenski185 He could come back, he is the firstborn of Akatosh after all. We even see his soul get pulled into the sky, presumably back to Akatosh. If he doesn't come back, the timeline could last forever, or someone/something else could mantle(replace) him as the one who ends the current kalpa(timeline). One option for it is the Thalmor if the theory about them wanting to destroy Mundus's Towers is true
@@arcanephysics7384 It isn't the firstborn of Akatosh though. They're actually the same spirit, artificially separated from itself. As such Alduin is an Aedroth and therefore bound by the Convention. This means that its death was absolute and unlike Daedra it cannot reform itself, leaving it unable to end the timeline. This will overtime cause the Godhead to destabilise ans wake up, ending the timeline abruptly. And the Thalmor's plan of disabling the Towers won't end the timeline, it will only dissolve existence to its primordial form.

Well, I have to admit this. I knew Nothing of The Elder Scrolls, or of Skyrim.
During the quarantine I was browsing through UA-cam and cane across some of Malukah's videos and recordings.
I now have the very first gaming system I have ever owned in my life, and one game .. The Elder Scrolls V SKYRIM.
(My grandson gave me his old gaming system and the game.)
Malukah, your voice is so very lovely, and these songs are so mesmerizing, that I sought out the origins of this music!

Your mastery of "the way of the voice" is astonishing. I've heard tales, but to see it for myself.

Clearly an Imperial. No mistaking that Voice of the Emperor.
"Calms nearby people for 60 seconds."
(Voice of the Emperor is a Greater Power possessed by all Imperials, which allows them once a day to cast a powerful Pacify effect on all NPC targets within a 75 ft radius.)
(PS: This is by far the most powerful Pacify effect available, as it will work against enemies up to level 99, which is higher than any found in the game.)
Clearly you have not heard of the Pacify effect of death.

pretty much. I played skyrim around the time I played dragon age 1 and I was extremly dissapointed on how inflatious they used dragons .. like ..in both games... oh we don't know what to do.. here ..have a dragon ...it felt really uninspired :/

And if you're going to argue that Malukah's version isn't a note-for-note match, that's what singers do. They add their own little twists to make it special.
i think this song perfectly captures the feeling I got while playing Skyrim for the first time. No other game has made me feel that way again. The epicness and beauty is incomparable to me. I mean:

My brother got a mod where the opening screen (the load game, start new, etc) plays this instead of what it normally does. It also has a different background.
Oh cool. What is your background? Mine is the Dragonborn looking up into the sky with an axe, and I think there is also a dead dragon, but that is from memory and I am too lazy to open up the game to find out.

I've been using a mod to replace all of Skyrim's female bard songs with yours for so long that I almost forgot it wasn't part of the vanilla game. Re-installed the game recently and forgot to activate the mod. Walked into an inn and heard one of the vanilla female bard songs playing. Couldn't stand it after listening to your versions for so long. Had to exit the game and fix it immediately.
All that to say, you've got one of the best voices I've ever heard. Makes a great game that much more epic and immersive haha.

I felt so upset when I came back from Sovngarde and everyone acted like nothing ever happened, but then hearing the bards sing about my victory I got the motivation to play again.
What I love most about this song is that it tells the story of the Alduin and the Dragonborn so beautifully. The lyrics are great, but the really really neat part is that while your listening to the lyrics, your probably thinking of your own journey in the game. Your experience is part of the song. The story of the song is the story of YOU. It's so marvelous.
This song…was at work on break one day listening to this and when that part”the sweet song of Skyrim the Sky shattering Thum.” It hit so hard I started sobbing so much. I thought about all my time with the game, All the countless new adventures, the struggle and frustration with mods to get that perfect immersive game right. I thought about how the game got me through a lot, I thought about my badass character and everything they go through and them standing on the ledge of a mountain peering down at the horizon of Skyrim. Just the way it is sung hits in such a way especially because its a build up to that sung line. That our character which is an extension of us is that sweet song of Skyrim. The Sky shattering thum that changed Skyrims future. Skyrim’s hero, Skyrims voice and no matter what we are in this life or where we are or how little we have accomplished that always and forever in Skyrim’s world we were someone, and for better or worse depending on play-through we made a difference and made a change. So no matter where you are or what is going on for you right now know that you accomplished something in this life, you were Skyrim’s Dragonborn.

Malukah Three Hearts as One was amazing, Malukah. I had a level 34 Imperial on the Daggerfall Covenant, but as soon as I heard Three Hearts, I just HAD to reroll to the Pact. My Argonian is almost max-level! :) Blood for the Pact!!!!!

I first heard this cover quite a few years ago, and I absolutely loved. I just came back to it for the first time in years and I got goosebumps, and sometime about halfway through a tear came to my eye. It’s not even like the song came to have more meaning to me, I guess I just matured and understand the meaning of the song better.

Mind you, my latest character is a Redoran noble build (from the book on Solstheim) and as soon as I leave to the mainland I might actually do the companions and the Dawnguard side of the DG DLC.
