@midgetydeath I think the very concept of 'good guys killing bad guys' is the problem. It isn't specific to video games, it is all over media and folklore. My main problem with video games specifically is promoting screen addition, just like excessive television. Just playing and using the imagination, or table top role playing at least promotes creativity and visualización. If kids would just fight eachother (constructively, preferably, like martial arts training) that would probably be better and they would learn physical skills. Violence, or the root of violence on some level seems innate in humans and it needs a good outlet. If a person is inclined toward brutal violence and homicide, they will probably also be drawn to especially violent games and media. It may be more of an indicator than a cause. The problem originated elsewhere. I am really aporeciating a trend in media lately, at least in some shows I have seen, of humanizing villians and showing their story. It helps people relate to how and when someone can make the choice to become 'evil'. Many people can be pushed in the right circumstances. Heroes included. Also the theme of redemption, being given a chance to earn trust and be better.
@midgetydeath "Video games are about good guys killing bad guys and monsters and generally being heroes" Yeh... I lure npc's to the highest places i can find to see how far i can send them flying. And if there is a npc that is able to be murdered in a game, then i'm murdering it at some point to build a body pile!

A bard sings on the road
2:02 The fugitive arrives at riverwood without knowing that he is dragonborn
2:34 The battle against the first dragon in the tower of Whiterun
3:05
Magic manifests itself by receiving the soul of the dragon.
3:20 The legend spreads, the heroic acts of the dragonborn goes everywhere from skyrim.
3:58 Finally dovahkiin faces the last challenge...Alduin
4:32 Back to the bard who is in the tavern does not know. But he's actually singing a prophecy of what will happen when dragonborn comes.

@@jesperhedenqvist922 or like hundreds of other games :D
@@fifo2926 yea my fallout character wasn't exactly the nicest guy in the world lol
@midgetydeath "Video games are about good guys killing bad guys and monsters and generally being heroes"
Yeh... I lure npc's to the highest places i can find to see how far i can send them flying.
And if there is a npc that is able to be murdered in a game, then i'm murdering it at some point to build a body pile!
