My heart started racing when I seen those records!
I aint an expert in much - except when it comes to The Beatles. I'm sitting here screaming at my TV "Dont put that one back.... OMG grab that one.... Its only $10 and IN THE SHRINK!".
I had a feeling I was missing out. I 100% got cold feet. I'm going to try and set up another pick with him and I will see if he still has the records. Thanks a TON for reaching out!!!
I Appreciate You!
Some stellar records for a garage sale. I usually get classical and Barbara Streisand around here. I would have offered for the whole box, probably could have had a deal.
Thanks Seth!!
The first Beatles album "Introducing The Beatles" was on a small label Vee-Jay before Capitol got the rights to their albums. A friend of mine picked up a copy of this album for $4.00 in nice condition at a used record store ten years ago.
There are so many of those bootlegged.
You have a better chance of winning the lottery or getting struck by lightning than finding an original copy of Introducing the Beatles in Stereo.
I'd be extremely interested in seeing what gems he has inside when it comes to Beatles vinyl.
The record right before the Hey Jude LP is also a VeeJay release that would be worth thousands if it was real. It’s most likely fake though, that’s the one I had a counterfeit of. I did get a decent price for it on eBay advertised as a counterfeit.
Awesome video, great finds, Mike is someone I'd like to have a beer with .... but dude .... forget about the records, you need to look for some new footwear ! Liked & subscribed, greetings from Mallorca, Spain.
The Beatles what??
So cool!!!
A few years ago I went through a Beatles vinyl binge. I've got probably a dozen genuine "introducing the Beatles" including a stereo "version two" (version one stereo is worth a ton) and multiple version one mono. Please please me with and without the comma etc. I don't remember all the details to look for but there are a bunch of different variations to look for, if you know what to look for you can find some good deals.
I Have these photos of
when i met John and May on
March 4, '74 at Riviera
Hotel in Las Vegas..a great
memory..along with Harry Nillson
and Mal Evans..never published
or released..gotta get on the project!
Anyone interested let me know!
This guy just gave you such a cool demo
Nice and I share you out on my community tab 😊
Thanks Jessica!! Your the best!!
I love how he passes up 5 quad records...
What are quad records? 🤔
Thanks in advance!!
@@EbayJacob Quad records are records that need a certain setup but play in four channels 1:18
They can also rank up fair prices. If in mint condition and the most wanted album can go upwards to 50-100$
I routinely get triple digits for original Beatles albums that are still in the shrink on eBay.
I’m sorry to say but all those Beatles records were well worth $10 each but even the counterfeit goes for about $20-$25 in record stores and on eBay even though you’re not supposed to sell it on eBay the yellow submarine in hey Jude with the cellophane on it still in the hype sticker were the biggest Miss also the song stories in pictures of the fabulous Beatles goes for quite a bit of money occasionally
APPLE RECORDS NEEDS TO PUT THEIR NAME ON THE ALBUM, INTRODUCING THE BEATLES by THE BEATLES and release it again
So true!!
Apple wants nothing to do with the American Beatles releases anymore. It’s either the British way or the Highway.
@@monaural2.988 wow
if they were all first UK presses, i would buy all of em right away and i would probably be robbed on my way home by hundreds of ppl, lol. whats an first american press worth, like 60 bucks in okey condition? i know the first uk press (gold label one) of pls pls me is between 4 000 - 10 000 bucks depending on the condition
Two TT’s? .. I’d buy both!
I have a legit mono copy of the Vee-Jay release pressed in Allentown.
You passed on the records? I would have too, unless they were like $2 each. Enjoyed the video!
Totally passed but they looked tasty!!
I bet there was some good ones in there.
Garage Sale Season just around the corner 😳
@@EbayJacob I'm looking forward to the garage sales. Enough snow already!
it all depends on condition if the cover and record are nice. yeah there worth $10. but even if the cover was a little bad i would still probably pay $10. cuss you cant find a $2 the beatles record on discogs. so i thank that guy had that price right maybe even under depending on condition.
i listen to records not resale. so to me that a good price. i paid $15 and $20 for my first two original the beatles records. to me i didnt overpay cuss i listen to them alot.
I want to see the old car
I noticed he has it in his front yard now. He might be looking to sell it soon.
The odds you found an original Introducing the Beatles in Stereo are like 100,000 to 1.
You have a few lessons to learn my boy.
Totally!! I'm looking forward to it 🤑
Thanks for watching!
Are they for sale
Takes all the fun out of going to a garage sale when the owner walks around with a price guide. I'd rather shop on Discogs.
You passed up that Shrink-Wrap Hey Jude with store stickers ??
Hey John. I sure did. I wasn't sure what to buy. Do you have any info for us?
@@EbayJacob What would you like to know ?
@@johnwszeborowski1395 Did you see any records that you would consider valuable? He is asking $10 each.
@@EbayJacob For $10 each I would have bought all The Beatles. Except that pirate copy of Introducing The Beatles.
@@johnwszeborowski1395 I was afraid you were going to say that.
Thanks for the info!
The good news is that I can still buy them. I will set up a time to meet with him 🤘
Thanks John!!
Who are The Beatles??? I never heard of them.
They play with Tony Sheridan.
I respect him being straight up that it's a fake. Asking if a copy of that particular album is legitimate or not is like the ultimate worm can opening, haha. Complicated history. Unfortunately the Red Baron flew over as he was explaining it.
Could you missed out on probably $4000?
kind of dumb passing on those records
Dude 100% fake. play it and it will be in mono
It is fake i hve a similar copy bought it in1984
Thanks for the feedback!
Still worth getting
@@DavidLee-rx6uo Thanks!
People think anything Beatles is gold... that is false. Anything made after 1970 to be a "collectible" is junk. Original records from the 60s about worthless unless it's ultra-rare and MINT. Condition is everything. Even a rare single with picture sleeve is not sought after if it's not mint. The new generation isn't collecting Beatles stuff anymore.
