I would love to help you with determining the value of the cards. I’ve been playing and collecting since the summer of 2000. I have cards from Alpha and Beta and beyond. The sealed packs of Saga have the most value so far. I’m still watching the video.

Keep the sealed Urza's Magic decks in your closet. it could easily double in value again like it did during the pandemic.

I like your card antiquing technique. Gotta be a little rougher with those cards though. People really appreciate a well used card.

I'm 2 years late but there are apps you can get to scan the cards and it will tell you the value of them, problem is that with older cards like this they usually have trouble differentiating the sets.

I would take it to a few local game stores, have them look at and evaluate it. They may possibly make an offer on the spot. Also they can authenticate the cards. You may accidentally sell fakes

what probably happened was the kid moved out and the parents downsized their house, then when he came back looking for the stuff they probably said "hmm, idk what happened to it :)" because they legitimately forgot they were renting the unit and then their credit card that had the reoccurring charge expired.

People think anything Beatles is gold... that is false. Anything made after 1970 to be a "collectible" is junk. Original records from the 60s about worthless unless it's ultra-rare and MINT. Condition is everything. Even a rare single with picture sleeve is not sought after if it's not mint. The new generation isn't collecting Beatles stuff anymore.

2 weeks ago I bought a 10x20 unit at auction for $10 I found 4 giant boxes of early 90’s magic cards I’m already at $4000 I got doubles and triples of all the rare cards from revised edition! Easiest money I’ve ever made
