His collection is breathtaking. So kind of him (and you!) to share it with us! One question … I saw your PVC video too (I think I’ve seen all your videos) … weren’t some of his records on PVC sleeves? I imagine he must have the very best protective sleeves but to my untrained eye some looked like they might be PVC.
@@quiricomazarin476 everything I know about PVC I learned from Andrew’s video here: ua-cam.com/video/P_z5oa24cd4/v-deo.html And yes, it is a thick plastic that degrades and can damage your records. The video is well worth your time. :)
From someone who has been hunting in stores since the 80’s, Francis has items that rarely or ever show up. To has examples so scarce, and top condition is remarkable.
this collection is unbelievable. i feel lucky to have one pressing of each u.s. capital album in my collection (scratchy ones at that), so it's cool to see a guy who's a master of his craft. cheers from the west coast of the usa.
just a peerless video overall. the collection, the visual presentation, his gentle voice and manner, the gorgeous jacket he's wearing...parlogram's become my favorite music channel by far
Wow! That's some record collection. I have some Beatle discs that are very collectible. My most prized discs are the "For Jukeboxes Only" releases. CEMA originally ordered these in black vinyl. Specialty, who pressed them, had just finished a run of red vinyl singles for another artist, and the operator forgot to change to black "biscuits". About 250-300 copies of the red vinyl Love Me Do were made before the mistake was discovered. CEMA ended up keeping these copies, and they were eventually sold to one distributor. The black vinyl discs were released on October 19, the same day as Capitol's CD single of Love Me Do, while the red versions were finally shipped the following year on March 10, and are valued at around $35.00. I got the Love Me Do red vinyl disc on E-bay for about $28.00.
Is the Collectors Items album, a bootleg album. The copy I have really looks like a promotional Capitol album. "Not for sale." I have a second edition. Who was supposed to receive copies of the album? What I like about the album is realizing there were no CDs at the time of the release. A1 Love Me Do (UK single version with Ringo on drums (mono) 2:22 A2 Thank You Girl (Mono Original Mix) 1:59 A3 From Me To You (Mono Original Mix) 1:54 A4 All My Loving (Stereo With hi-hat Intro) 2:06 A5 This Boy (Stereo) 2:11 A6 Sie Liebt Dich (Stereo) 2:16 A7 I Feel Fine (Stereo) 2:15 A8 She's A Woman (Stereo) 2:57 A9 Help! Said Little Nicola) (Stereo) 4:34 B4 The Inner Light (Mono single) 2:30 B5 Across The Universe (Stereo) 3:44 B6 You Know My Name (Look Up My Number) (Mono) 4:15 These tracks are quite common on CD right now. But not in 1979 when the album was released.
I hear the new remix of Taxman and found your quality with sound of radio FM.The instruments now no stayed only in a channel how before so is cool this. Finally resolved problem with that stereo creat by George Martin, now can hear a sound more pure possible.
I was at a garage sale and there were over 1,000 records and they had some Beatles ones and one of them were a couple copies Introducing the Beatles and I didn't grab it, no one did and the only reason I didn't buy it was because there was no case but some other I think did. I promise if they do a garage sale again I will buy all the Beatles records there.
Because of what I have learned from watching your channel, I can stick out my chest and proclaim that I have a version of, “introducing the Beatles“, that this collector (apparently) does not! Alas, I have a copy of the original Vee Jay release with the different song order! Sure, it is pretty much in shambles. But nevertheless, I own it! ##happy
I collect i would say their Studio Albums i have already the Albums: Please Please me, With the Beatles, A hard day's night, Beatles for sale, Rubbersoul and Sgt Pepper, but bought not all always because their are too expensive and i already have 2 Hollies Studio Albums namely: Stay with the Hollies and the "Hollies" Album
Ooooo...my GOD ....first state stereo butcher Mint !....first state MONO...Mint !....all those records, this hige collection museum...man...im a huge Elvis collector , and it cost alot of $$$$$$ so to collect also the Beatles you need to me a millionaire...
I love how the re-edit was uploaded on the 9th of the 9th. John would be proud. 😂😂😂😂😂

They were but are now in the process of being replaced.
@@Parlogram That’s great news! That is a World Class collection worth protecting.
I changed all my PVC sleeves after I saw your video.

What a Joy to see this collection!!! Thank you Francis for sharing with all of us❤

This is like ASMR for Beatles collectors! Fantastic stuff, especially those Capitol jukebox EPs. Thanks for sharing.
Just the Yesterday and Today's are mind blowing, never mind the rest of it too. Incredible.
Just amazing! I’m speechless!

Fascinating! This collection must have taken a long time to put together! Thanks for the video.
Beautiful collection! Thanks
Brilliant, I am glad I have a few of the records Francis was showing. Thank you for sharing. P.S I love the start of your video. Yes, we have Passion

I have a "For Jukeboxes Only!" Sgt. Pepper. There's no way that you got a record with ~300 copies for 28 bucks, that's insane.
I've just watched it again mate to help your stats. Looking forward to part 2!
Thanks Barry!
Gobsmacked!! Cannot imagine how much it cost to put that together and it is only the tip of the iceberg............

It's ironic that Decca, the same label that rejected the Beatles on 1/1/1962, also ended up releasing a 45 of "My Bonnie"
Have you heard the Taxman remix from the upcoming 2022 Revolver remix? If so, what did you think?

Worth watching a second time! 🙂
The owner looks like he put a flux capacitor in his DeLorean and uses it to buy Beatles memorabilia for cheap.

The Beatles Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band Capitol Executives cover RARE!! on ebay
True Colin, but nobody wants to buy it.
Wait, I thought Capitol didn't start shrink-wrapping their records until 1966??? Or do I remember my Spizer wrong??
I thought you were editing out the guy's address at 12:09 which is on the back of a butcher cover
Doesn't look much like an address label, rather some kind of certifcate. Perhaps of its authenticity and/or valuation.
@@GBOAC Fair enough but I thought some clever clogs might enhance it
new remix by Andrew 2022
I prefer interviews and podcasts without background music. It can be very distracting.
Is that what is called a Nehru jacket the owner is wearing? Yes, watched again, too much goodness to pass up.
I hav a one room museum but this guys stuff makes me look like I don't even like the Beatles!
