I loved this reaction. You're picking up on Maya being an Anti-hero with extremes about her motivations. The Hawkeye content was only a few minutes and all of it was from Maya's perspective so it was well used.

I loved this 1st story! The Daredevil fight alone made it worth it, and that they're following the Netflix fight choreography! For people who complained about superhero fatigue, this ain't that!
Never thought Maya would be the star of her own show, I always expected her to be a supporting character in the ensemble of the original Daredevil show. yet I’m liking the show so far (only on episode 3). I’m liking the fight choreography, the appearance by DD and seeing more of Fisk. Forget Kang and the multiversal conflict, I’m more interested in Fisk being an overarching threat to “street level” Marvel heroes. Hope Marvel does well enough in the street level projects like Echo and Daredevil Born Again to the point there’s a crossover event that sees Maya, Matt, a few more returning Defenders and even Spider -Man and the Hawkeyes team up to take him down.
I was thrilled Daredevil made an appearance. But I thought Marvel switched to a yellow and red suit for She-Hulk. So I went back to see where this falls in the MCU timeline. This takes place quite a few years after DDS3 and a year or so before SHS1.
Echo has a good start. Not really sure where it's going, but it should be a fun ride. Maya has the wrong idea about replacing the kingpin, she should just remove his influence; but with the kingpin that's easier said than done. Also, never count him out, he's very resilient.
