Have them and they're great for 25 dollars, dropped them on concrete, rock, floor tiling, asphalt, almost 20 times already, still works!!. a caveat would be that the charging case is a bit hard to clean (especially the charging pins), if u want the space travel but with more nice to haves (a lid on the case, battery, wireless charging, auto pause and play, and more) then i recommend getting the moondrop moca. Bought the moca after losing one of the buds from the space travel. But if you feel like you only need buds to do everyday tasks with and dont really need the nice to haves the moca offers then go for it, its cheap, its convenient, and worry free. ALSO some people complain that the space travel not having a lid is a disadvantge, but i have found that it is a huge time saver, when getting buds out of your pockets you can just slide the buds out and leave the case inside, making it handy for when your grabbing your phone on the other hand. all in all its blind buy worth as what crinacle said.
I had the Space Travel's for a year now and I have to concede that it's one of my best audio purchases period. Bought it just as a small treat for my birthday, but i ended using that more than any of my wired buds lol
They're perfect for the environment I use them in. Working in a factory where we're only allowed have one bud in use at a time, podcasts are clear enough and music you can still feel the bass and make out enough detail to enjoy it. ANC is garbo for the background noise levels so I keep it off. And obviously their cheap enough to get treated rough if they have to.
for your use case there's also the kz tws adapters, which have a 2 pin connector. you get a better seal, the iem works when the battery on the adapter dies and you can get whatever sound signature you want by purchasing any of the gazillion iem's that have a 2 pin connector
Love the Moondrop Space Travel, been using mine for 10 months and it still held up fine. For anyone who just want wireless that work great without costing as much as your phone you can't go wrong with it. Great sound, pretty clear mic, weak ANC better than no ANC, and battery life... it's lacking but it'll last a day, let's be honest it's not gonna be on your ear 24 hours.
I have been selling my teenagers on Crinacle approved products. They enjoy the zero 2, zero red, and singolo. I have been encouraging them to try the space travel instead of other products 8-10 times the price. Perhaps this video will sway them because Crin said so.
many people doesn't realize the good points for ANC is about health. for comparison, my right eardrum was quite damaged due to motorcycle crash and loud bang. and i hardly get a good earbuds to listen with because my right ear will get hot and buzzing noise happening, ANC helped me with that and i can enjoy listening more than 5 songs without my right ear getting hot and hurt. now i own space travels and it as perfect.
These have served me well throughout the past year. The ANC will freak out with things like hammers, weedwhackers, chainsaws, but it works reasonably well for low noises like cars and lawnmowers. They also sound good in my opinion. Well worth $25 to me.
Picked them up a while ago. Best purchase for $25 (or 25€ for me). Sound is quite good for that price, they fit ok and the case exists. I only use ANC when 3D printing, for which it works really well. Afterthought: I don't hate the anime girl voice but the "buttons" really don't respond to touch that well which is no dealbreaker but can be annoying (e. g. trying to skip tracks). Never knew there was hype around them; would buy them again.
I've been using it for the last 5 months. It's been dropped and soaked in Vietnam tropical rain everyday, and the amount of time I almost lose it is more than I'm comfortable with. But despite that they still work the same like out of the box. The only downside is the noise canceling modes really don't work well with winds (especially if you ride motorcycle).
I picked up a pair of these when they first dropped, and I match your opinion on them completely. Incredibly surprised at the sound, the ANC is nice even if I think it's a token effort, and the anime girl that lives inside them is... yeah not my thing. Still a recommendation when my cash-strapped friends are looking for new buds, and it is my duty to steer them away from skull candy...
They are really good for how much they are priced compare to their peers. Have one for more than a year and don't have much issues with it. Wish it could be louder.
I've been using the space travel for several months now and I still love them. 4hrs isn't that long but it's honestly workable. Anc is fine, nothing great but it works. I heard they have a more expensive and a more cheaper variant so I lowkey wanna try a new set out
ive owned it ever since it was released and the only problem with these overtime is the case charging the buds themselves lose responsiveness but a lil bit of cleaning solves that its a good buy
@@Revolving_Door it's usually because the buds lose contact with the charging pins. When you put a bud in the case the case light will slowly blink to show that the bud is charging. If the case doesn't do that, press the bud more into the case until the slow blinking light appears.
Rocking this right now after my airpods got worse. Solid sound quality, decent 4 hour, some ANC for working( but not enough for most crowded spaces), anime girl voice in your ears for $20, super solid Used it to test balance music I made too
Been using for a year and honestly crazy, good tuning. Of course lacking a bit in fidelity, connection flakes maybe 1 in 50 times for a few seconds, and the case is finicky. But for 20 quid on sale, i actually stopped using my galaxy buds just because these did the job perfectly when i first bought to try them out and havent bothered to switch back
@@SpeedyPotato_ Yeah I figured bluetooth latency is still too much.. I've been using a wireless headset with a 2.4ghz dongle on my pc for a good while though and the latency was very negligible so I was looking for buds that filled in the same hole. Thanks for answering!!!
I've owned this for almost a year. While it clearly punches above its weight, the charging contact points don't charge the buds sometimes and I have to constantly clean em and push the buds a little harder in. But by then you'd just buy another one ;-;
Been using them for a year and they did fine. My ears are not picky and they get the job done while being very affordable. The battery life is good too. The biggest gripe for me is the amplified wind noise when ANC is turned on. But for me, I never use the ANC mode so it has no effect on me.
Space Travel my beloved Tip: if you use Wavelet along with the Space Travel, set the Space Travel to Monitor preset, then add your preference of bass to it. I find this combo to work better than Reference/Basshead preset since the midrange becomes more natural sounding for my ears, and also it gets closer to tilted population average/meta/JM-1 target. By comparison, the upper mids of Reference/Basshead, while fine, sounds a bit glare-y at times, sometimes borderline shouty depending on the music.
Space travel is great! I have mine for a year or so and my biggest issue - they will not sit tight in their case sometimes, they tend to turn, discharging and cutting off sound from the phone. Other than that - they are absolutely great for their price!
The only thing about space travels is that one of the ears might stop charging because it might lose connection with the pins but you can open the case and clean off any dirt on the pins, also tighten the screws if necessary 👍
Thank you bro I'll try this 😭. I thought I have lost mine because it's suddenly stopped charging and I haven't used them in a long time. I will try this fix and hope it works. Although I have a new one now Aviot TE-D01
The problem i had with them so far its the case collecting dust, since its always open when the buds arent there they are widely exposed, making the buds not be able to charge which is kinda annoying. Also the buds having sometimes issues like being able to connect to the phone but not giving any audio, forcing you to disconnect and reconnect. And the mapping for the anc I would like to have the noise canceling as the first option, or disable the transparent mode but the app doesnt give that option at all but for the price they do the job and sound amazing.
Ive been using them for 2 months by now, its a solid buy. Although their anc is weird at times, it really hates buses, it vibrates super weird. Rest is good. A few disconnection issues, but to be fair, i use a super old phone that barely works so its prolly its fault not the headphones.
The biggest drawback for me is the ANC actually made wind noise louder, but other than that I’m very satisfied and thinking about buying another for backup.
I crashed my bicycle at an unreaonably high speed and landed on my ear(face down legs up). My left earphone took the entirety of the impact with the asphalt and saved my ear from being smooshed. It exploded into two pieces, but I just snapped it back together, didn't even need the glue. They were 100% fine. But still, I won't be buying anything under 20 dollars from moondrop. Their spring tips ripped apart after a month, 2 quarks dsps died after just one and moondrop chus held up around half a year. But the space travels are SOLID.
It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on artisans and quality inspection. My family and I have bought 2 kislux bags in the past 3 years and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
i would not call the ANC weak tbh compared to wired earbuds (yeah any kind even good IEMs with the overpriced spinfit cp100s) it really knocks them out of the park. sometimes id wear them outside take one out for a second and be overwhelmed by the barrage of noise from cars driving by which i had not realized even existed. it's definitely not "get away from the rest of the world" tier but it definitely feels like having the remote from Click and turning down the volume on literally everything else but shrill noises around you which i honestly prefer over pseudo-deafness.
i used to love my moondrop space travels but i hate that it doesn't have a lid so much I've lost them so many times and recently I lost them again but I think this time for good i definitely would recommend them either way i was planning on using them just for a month but while i had them they became my main earbuds for quite a long time.
7:21 and the biggest reason not to buy, the earbuds don't charge with the case plugged into a charger 🤷 And the case battery is small with no quick charge. But, they're still great, especially with AZLA tips
Used them almost a year now, the only gripe is that they are never in ANC out of the box, and its two long presses away from the only mode I really use.
Unfortunately their quality seems to be fairly mid. The right earbud stopped working after just one week of use, without any contact with water, dust etc
@rei_hsym but they are also pretty interesting, you dont often see full size IEM shell TWS's, thats straight up uncommon and genuinely interesting to take a look at
Unfortunately my space travel's left earpiece has stopped charging after 10 months of usage. And there was a slight problem with right and left earpieces having different battery percentages. Except these it was a perfect tws to grab under 30$. You can try QCY ht05 in this price range cause it has better fit and sound isolations.
my space travel buds fell in a bucket of water, after hitting it off my ear by mistake... It went deep in... for few seconds the volume was less compared to the other side.. but after couple of minutes...it came back to normal. now its working flawlessly... (idk y but i found it sound better after that... just cause I started to listen with more concentration, to find if it has any faults...)
I have owned Space Travel for a year now, and I love it. I have to agree with the downsides here, ANC just "exist", meh battery life, and questionable case design because this thing is prone to fall off the case. But nevertheless for 25$ the sound quality is actually pretty good.
As an owner of these buds, the only negative thing I have to say on top of the things mentioned in the video is probably the quality control. I very often have connectivity issues that doesnt render these buds useless per se but they really take you out of the song, and I have had significantly cheaper buds that doesnt have these issues
didnt watch the video yet, but space travel rocks, lost the case but i had the nekocakes and an older one, those space buds fit and work fine with the other nekocake cases
One more thing: The buds is not loud, at least for me, music maybe 60~70% is fine but video need to be at 90~100% volume depends on source. I turned on ANC + Boost the sound by 5~9% gain with Volume Boost for it to work for me.
The charging mechanism just suck. Got a bit of dust on the charger contact and it wouldn't charge. The indicator is also suck. If i were to charge it i would be expecting if the led lit up, but sometimes when it did lit up, it didn't charge. Because putting it in the charger without proper contact it just disconnect the buds, not charge it. But why the hell would it be lighting up the led indicator? Just change the indicator light when charging with different color, like blue or green or something other than white. To differentiate whether yhe the buds are charging or just disconnected.
Mine broke after 2 or 3 months, I forget when I got them. Specifically the charging pins on the case for one of the buds broke and receded into the case so that the earbuds couldn't make contact with them. I tried to see if there was some way to open the case to fix it but I couldn't find anything.
aside from the volume not going as hard as i wish for my metal head occasional moments and sometimes having one side turning off on a whim they are the perfect TWB, i just wish the app wasnt that weird to operate.
Their software is very buggy though. My biggest gripe is, sometimes my right bud kind of turned off while i wasn't playing any sound on my phone. I had to put it back in the case and charge the case for around 30 minutes for it to work again.
Got mine blind a year or so ago. What disappointed me the most is not ANC, fit, battery or case, but the volume level. They are just so quiet and passive isolation isn't great either. Most of the time the music doesn't even fully cover outside noise at max level. The difference in people's reports on volume level lead to a belief there's a faulty batch with low volume level and apparently I'm one of the unlucky ones. Also ANC really doesn't know how to handle wind. I recommend disabling it in a windy environment.
The only thing that annoys me a lot with these is pairing them with a new device. Most of the times it straight up ignores the double long press input. Really frustrating if you have to do back and forth between two devices, especially if they are close to eachother.
I'm not really an audio guy, so I don't really want to spend much for an earbud. Also i drop things a lot, i might lose this in a year or two. Have this now, and used to have sony wired (i think also around $30?) for 5 years, and i think sony's a lot better. Even without ANC, sony has much better seal compared to this with ANC. More comfortable on my ears, and the sound also feels better. Sadly I'm commuting a lot now, and constantly having wire around me is getting annoying, so i use this one now.

Used them almost a year now, the only gripe is that they are never in ANC out of the box, and its two long presses away from the only mode I really use.
I got the space travel and it's genuinely the best tws for the price and far above, and the best iem in general for $25
the last two videos crinacle made are the two last TWS I acquired (buds 3 pro and space travel) 🤣🤣
Moondrop Moca next?
I found the Soundpeats Lifes ANC to be quite good for a similarly priced set, but has a nicer case imo
WE MUST PROTECT SPACE TRAVEL-CHAN
you gotta look into earfun's earbuds. they have good anc and transparency. around $40 for the air 2 nc model
Unfortunately their quality seems to be fairly mid. The right earbud stopped working after just one week of use, without any contact with water, dust etc
The mochas are out and my boy here is reviewing space travel
I wonder if i should wait for the moondrop x hsr collab (which looks amazing) or just save some cash and buy these instead
Honestly i don't expect that would be great TWS
It's really rare for a collaboration products to be great quality especially with Audio
@rei_hsym but they are also pretty interesting, you dont often see full size IEM shell TWS's, thats straight up uncommon and genuinely interesting to take a look at
I was sold the moment I heard the assistant
I have to agree with the downsides here, ANC just
"exist", meh battery life, and questionable case design because this thing is prone to fall off the case. But nevertheless for 25$ the sound quality is actually pretty good.
Crinacle from the future has different headphones on the wall.
What about the Moondrop Moca thennnn? pls
Can I use this for PC Games? How is the latency? Thank you for taking time to read this comment
I only really use mine when i mow the lawn. Can’t complain for $20 they sound good enough and the ANC is good enough
Ive been daily driving these allong with my wires iem's and its probably the best £25 i've ever spent
I would kove if you touched on the ultrasonics, the moca and the Golden ages. They seem to be too good to be true
I love them for the price, only thing that annoys me is the touch controls, which is understandable
To differentiate whether yhe the buds are charging or just disconnected.
my space travel just fell out of my helmet once and it still playing lol
Mine broke after 2 or 3 months, I forget when I got them. Specifically the charging pins on the case for one of the buds broke and receded into the case so that the earbuds couldn't make contact with them. I tried to see if there was some way to open the case to fix it but I couldn't find anything.
aside from the volume not going as hard as i wish for my metal head occasional moments and sometimes having one side turning off on a whim they are the perfect TWB, i just wish the app wasnt that weird to operate.
I bought a set when they were released and they were great. I was gutted that they didn't fit in my ears very well and caused me pain
Their software is very buggy though. My biggest gripe is, sometimes my right bud kind of turned off while i wasn't playing any sound on my phone. I had to put it back in the case and charge the case for around 30 minutes for it to work again.
can you recommend best replacement eartips for moondrop tws buds?
I've ordered mine a week ago. Should arrive soon and I'm really hyped for them. Atm using airpods pro(1gen) but wanted to try something different.
Hey Crin, can you review the Elysian Pilgrim.I trust your review more than others
Can it connect to 2 devices like laptop and phone at the same time? Or just 1?
Tbh, the sound assistant in space travel is far more acceptable than littlewhite. I demand a firmware patch for that!!
I am 99% sure the tips you use is not the best fit try getting a good eartips
The only thing that annoys me a lot with these is pairing them with a new device. Most of the times it straight up ignores the double long press input. Really frustrating if you have to do back and forth between two devices, especially if they are close to eachother.
What about QCY ht07 it has anc
I don't notice whether the ANC is on or off. Which of the anime sounds means "On"? Does it even do anything?
press 3s to chage mode:
hey - hell sound from outside
shhh - ANC
um - usual
I'm not really an audio guy, so I don't really want to spend much for an earbud. Also i drop things a lot, i might lose this in a year or two.
Have this now, and used to have sony wired (i think also around $30?) for 5 years, and i think sony's a lot better.
Even without ANC, sony has much better seal compared to this with ANC. More comfortable on my ears, and the sound also feels better.
Sadly I'm commuting a lot now, and constantly having wire around me is getting annoying, so i use this one now.
I want to experience tws but my biggest concern is the battery life, maybe i have no life but i use earphones for 12 hours and even more.
