No way to get a successful update. I asked support to their site.. let's see if they can help me finally update the FW.
Actually no, if you disregard the Golden Ages and Ultrasonic then it's only Space Travel last year, then BLOCK and MOCA this year Ah and don't mind Robin's Earbuds that's for next year
How does this one compare to the Moondrop Space Travel or Moondrop Golden Ages? I only going to get 1 out of 3. Which one is considered the "best"? For looks this one certainly look the most bland compare to the other 2. The Golden Ages cases looks so damn good.
As your follower from here (Brazil), I must say that I did not feel that excitement or shine in my eyes when you spoke of this new earbuds; I did not feel that emotion of Fil Nano in this video hehe.
Ken, i gotta be honest, the first time I watched this video I was so sold from your explanation, comparisons, and experience that I immediately bought the Moondrop Moca. And back then, I also bought the FIIL T1 Lite after I watched your video about it. Thank you btw, I think we have the same preference in music and eq that I trust your judgement better than others'
This product has a lot of QA issues. First is the random popping/cracking from the L earbud. Then came the buggy 1.2.3 update that almost killed the earbuds because it wouldn't charge. Then the 1.2.4 update that rolled it back to "stock" firmware but introduced more issues. This product shouldn't be recommended unless Moondrop has an extensive return policy.
Great Review Kenneth. Thanks for sharing. I'm still stuck with my sound core P2i for listening to music they are great. No ANC and mic quality is lacking but I only listen to music and podcasts so they are great for that. Maybe later I will upgrade. I keep watching the TWS vids, until I find something that justifies spending again on TWS Makasih Banyak Mas Kenneth.
Great review! I already ordered the Moca. I am not sure from sound quality perspective what you recommend more, if the Earfun Air Pro 4 or the Moca. Please let us know better.
@elcamino142 the Moca sounds fantastic however I bought two pairs and one is defective as the left eaebud sounds much softer then the right one. The battery lasts longer then the Space Travels but I didn't perform an endurance test.
Hey Ken! Thx for the detailed content. Probably the best channel for tws review among the ones i’ve seen. I’m curious, how would you compare the sound quality of the moca against Airpods Pro?
I really want to trust this channel, it has been my n°1 reference for all my tws, but i just can't avoid feeling something is wrong lately, especially in the soundcore and moondrop reviews.
Nothing is wrong this year I just happen to move to a new house, and the same time my kid is turning 3 soon which demands a ton of my time, and I got a ton of expenses which mean I have to pick and choose the brands that will do well, or give me any sort of income to cover all the costs (buying furnitures from scratch doesn't help) So I appreciate your support as always, just forgive the lack of variations this year cause it's been a really challenging year for me personally, probably the most challenging so far in my YT journey I always keep it honest, that's the most important pilar otherwise there's no point, but looks like a lot of people take free contents for granted so I don't know what to say, I mean this is my dream job that I'm proud of, but at the same time I also need to pay my bills and more So I hope you could understand, and I really hope to bring even better quality by building my studio with desk setup next year, so you know where the money I earn goes to right 😁 Ah and Moondrop never sponsor any videos I just really like their sound, for Soundcore this year I'm working with a local distributor a lot, which comes with a limitation that I can't keep the stuff to compare further (but then I always try to keep them long enough to make another unsponsored comparison, and you can see that my take is consistent, If they're good I say good, if they're bad I won't even bother and move on to another good one, I mean spread positivity right? 👍
Did encounter any issues with cutting out audio when using game mode? i didn't have that issue on the space travel but noticed it right away when paired to steam deck anytime i navigated the menus it would give static in the left bud and similar to to my pixel on aac audio after enabling game mode
I really want to know these moca vs golden ages. I already have a space travel but I want to set up from them but I haven't decided between moca and new ages since new ages are considered better than the ultrasonic.
I have them all. Golden ages is still the best option in sound quality. However, unless you really want LDAC, the Moca sounds REALLY good for the price. Even better than the Ultrasonic. It's a good buy.

Hi Kenneth, i've been using soundpeats free 2 classic for a while. If i want to upgrade what do you suggest the price range would be? Is this moka a significant upgrade or better find other more expensive options?
Haha yeah MOCA would be a damn big upgrade, but if you don't care too much about sound quality you can try Huawei Freebuds 6i as well, it's a very well built all around earbuds (or if price allows the EarFun Air Pro 4 it feels like a flagship)
I bought the T1 lite and loved them but can’t get them any more. What has similar sound signature/clarity? I’m leaning towards the Haylou h1s on your review or are the Mocas a better choice?
Great review! Im gonna order the moondrop MOCA's now but just one more thing, my phone only supports AAC and SBC codec so is this also really good in terms of AAC codec? And what would be the best in your opinion for AAC?
I know that this isn't really related to the video but do you think that the REDMAGIC Nubia 9S Pro 5G is the best device for gaming or should i consider something else?
I saw your review on the snapdragon g3 that it uses and it seemed like it wasn't the best so I'm curious does it function better for the REDMAGIC Nubia 9S Pro 5G or is it still the same for all devices?
I recently lost my soundpeats free 2 classic and my budget is $35, im thinking of getting the Moondrop space travel or the soundpeats clear. If there are any better options let me know
Hi Sir Kenneth may i know if this tws have some similarities in Haylouw1 cause i really like the soundsig, mic and fit to my ears of that tws, however what other tws would you recommend same in haylouw1 TIA.
Hi if moca vs earfun air pro 4 in terms of sound quality and noise cancellation which one you prefer the most? Also i seen reddit addressing a lot of popping/cracking sound from the buds so im not sure which one to choose.tq
what device are you using for audio quality testing? im curious because some devices support only sbc, some support aptx, etc. that'll definitely affect the sound quality, no? also, why is my moca's charge case lights white, unlike blue like yours? or mine is a fake one? 🗿
The only codec it supports other than SBC AAC is LC3 (LE Audio) and that's still disabled by the time of testing since I don't have Samsung/Pixel phones that can utilize it But I use both Android (either Moondrop MIAD01 or Infinix ZERO40) and my iPhone 13 Pro Max, it sounds great on any of them Also charging case LED is white, maybe white balance problem in my footage
Based on your review the moondrop space travel sounds good so i brought it but i never liked the way they sounds specially the treble sounds dull to me so i returned it and i stick to my soundpeats engine 4 a lot better sounding than the space travel.
@namedkenn Yah i tried all those EQ from the space travel and didn't find suits my taste the engine 4 really better sounding to my ears and higher volume aswell and i'm using the rock eq as my default sound maybe my ears were old that's why. So can you recommend that moondrop moca sound over my engine 4 for upgrade?
You can customize to disable the touch controls in the app, for example if you have a specific control (like 1 tap) that might accidentally touch (they usually don't) But for sleeping sideways these are still too big so it's not the most comfortable out there, I usually try to just move the earbud to my other ear

I regret buying the latest eraphone Moondrop Moca because the charger of the second eraphone does not charge properly.. this still has many shortcomings and disadvantages.. first the charger of the eraphone in the case does not work properly.. I waited for more than 2 hours but still 0% my battery earphones..i tried to move it but it's still the same.. the second disadvantage is that there is no resistance to water and dust..and the ultra bass sound is still not comparable to the Tranya T30 bass sound..i hope the purchase is not wrong make a decision before buying like me..i'm so misleading.😢😢
Can you help me pick out a phone I have 5 choices right now which are the xiaomi poco x6 pro, infinix GT 20 pro, Poco f6 or pro, and redmi note 13 pro+ i want a phone that can last long hours of playing genshin and other games like wuthering waves for like 15h plus sessions without much ptoblems with decent camera and fast charging also will be good for day to day use.
It's almost 2025 and many manufacturers still don't add multipoint connection, in fact some are downgrading their earbuds like the honor x5 had multipoint but the new models don't. No multipoint no buying.
Sir could please tell me that under 60 dollars which one should i pick :- 1. Engine 4 2. Qcy melobuds pro 3. Moondrops moca Well there is moondrop ultrasonic too Please do tell me
I would advise against Ultrasonic (just too expensive at 75USD) but I also haven’t heard the QCY which is a shame Between engine4 and Moca if you watched the vid I actually pick MOCA now since its got more features
Unfortunately this TWS looks "cheap". Maybe it's just how it looks on the video, but the grey plastic looks like it is made from material used in that cheap plastic bucket. 😂 the travel looks more premium and unique.
Haha don’t waste your time the sound is much better here, only selling point is build quality and phone stand (considering they’re similar in price) but if you live in parts of Asia where they sell really cheap then it’s a good alternative
Haha well I tried the Capsule 3 Pro+ as well and it might be a good alternative (I don't have it so can't compare, they said they'll send but no updates so eh...) The tuning is definitely different tho, more dynamic and V shaped, I actually think it's good based on my quick experience at SIAS but as the other comment said, it's much more expensive in western regions

I regret buying the latest eraphone Moondrop Moca because the charger of the second eraphone does not charge properly.. this still has many shortcomings and disadvantages.. first the charger of the eraphone in the case does not work properly.. I waited for more than 2 hours but still 0% my battery earphones..i tried to move it but it's still the same.. the second disadvantage is that there is no resistance to water and dust..and the ultra bass sound is still not comparable to the Tranya T30 bass sound..i hope the purchase is not wrong make a decision before buying like me..i'm so misleading.😢😢
review cmf buds 2 pro?
Can't wait for the latency test on this one.
Latency test is already at the end of the video 😁
Can you help me pick out a phone I have 5 choices right now which are the xiaomi poco x6 pro, infinix GT 20 pro, Poco f6 or pro, and redmi note 13 pro+ i want a phone that can last long hours of playing genshin and other games like wuthering waves for like 15h plus sessions without much ptoblems with decent camera and fast charging also will be good for day to day use.
Kenneth!, Thank you!
Welcome!
Seriously what's your personal fav wireless earbuds you use. Price not a factor
I don't have flagship right now so I just take whatever, but I'll pick Freebuds 6i for calls and multipoint, then MOCA for everything else
It's almost 2025 and many manufacturers still don't add multipoint connection, in fact some are downgrading their earbuds like the honor x5 had multipoint but the new models don't. No multipoint no buying.
I hope moondrop drops TWS with 2.4ghz dongle ❤
Haha that'd be wild
Sir could please tell me that under 60 dollars which one should i pick :-
1. Engine 4
2. Qcy melobuds pro
3. Moondrops moca
Well there is moondrop ultrasonic too
Please do tell me
I would advise against Ultrasonic (just too expensive at 75USD) but I also haven’t heard the QCY which is a shame
Between engine4 and Moca if you watched the vid I actually pick MOCA now since its got more features
Skipping for moondrop robin
Haha yeah man though that'll take some time, few months at least which could be early 2025
I can't wait for it either!
Unfortunately this TWS looks "cheap". Maybe it's just how it looks on the video, but the grey plastic looks like it is made from material used in that cheap plastic bucket. 😂 the travel looks more premium and unique.
my brother just came back from China and his 19$ sound-quality earbuds were better than my 90$ JBL ones... Unbelievable tbh
My moondrop has static crackling sound when ANC on just on one ear piece, the hell moondrop, your nekocake successor is broken
Compare it to R50i NC
Haha don’t waste your time the sound is much better here, only selling point is build quality and phone stand (considering they’re similar in price) but if you live in parts of Asia where they sell really cheap then it’s a good alternative
If we talking about pure sound quality at 50$ price, nothing can compare to Soundpeats Capsule 3 Pro+💀
@@sachtrinh7301 but it's like 90-100$?
But the C3Pro+ is $90?
@punishment6260 idk, in my country Vietnam, I can buy it with 1350000 VNĐ, which trade to 50$. Moca at the same price
Haha well I tried the Capsule 3 Pro+ as well and it might be a good alternative (I don't have it so can't compare, they said they'll send but no updates so eh...)
The tuning is definitely different tho, more dynamic and V shaped, I actually think it's good based on my quick experience at SIAS but as the other comment said, it's much more expensive in western regions
@@namedkenn exactly! Cap3 Pro + is just over $100 (including 25% off) in Canada! Thankfully I picked up the Engine 4 for half that.
