I am the friend...
I have one. It's excellent. It survived a trip through the washing machine and drying out in the sun. Color doesn't run. It is higher quality than my Logi one.
I can find faults in just about anything. Can't fault this..

Problem is, keyboard trays of this size are too big.. Really wish a company would sell a 35cm tray that would house a TKL board!
