I remember watching this a few years ago. I love mixing glazes this way. Today I was trying to remember whether I add or subtract water from my glaze in order for the specific gravity is right, and I have learned it (again) today. Thank you for a brilliant mixing video and helping me understand SG.
just found your site by surfing. I have been potting for a few years at a Community centre and of course just use the glazes provided. No glaze classes are offered so I found your lesson interesting as well as educational. I have subscribed to your site and look forward to future videos. Be well, Ralph.
Thanks so much for your video! I'm new to glaze mixing and this helps so much! I have purchased several of your glazes and had lovely results with them. Seeing your mixing tips really helps expedite the process, looking forward to more glaze combo/technique videos!
in our pottery group, they have a separate bucket of soapy water you can turn on the drill in to get residual glaze off after mixing, so you dont have to constantly unplug or take it apart

Thanks 😊
I have been there few years back.so nice people .
My question is....do you need to re-test the glaze if you put it away and don’t use it for months? Or does it hold the reading steady?
It's working even with gloss transparent glaze?
AWESOME!!!!!! love!!!
Can you make glazes with sand in them?
Okay, now tell me straight..... how many times has a bag of wet glaze that you're mixing burst? That would be my luck! Thanks for your video.
These bags are really thick. I don't think you would burst any of them.
